You should have given the reason for closing it but I think the better option would have been to modify the title and let the thread be. But the way you put it, it looked like you had a problem with the topic instead of the title.

Fair enough. I would've thought my saying "good job on all your other topics" would be enough to show I have no problem. He has opened several other topics of recent and does a great job making strong anti-religious points without being insultive.

And I haven't had a chance to weigh in on Kobe yet. Was genuinely sad for him. You always hate to see a guy go down due to a devastating injury like that. I want him to have his shot at getting another ring and not injury being the reason he can't. But knowing Kobe, he will be back with a vengeance. And KD, Lebron & co will be waiting...

Whut up my dear Roland-garros . I'm def warming up...though yesterday's events have put a wet blanket on the whole city. Indeed, I was just looking at possibly scoring some playoff tickets but...I think events/places of mass gatherings are off the table for now . Though with all the security you have to go through to get into a place like the Garden (or fenway, gillette stadium etc), its probably safe. Its outdoor events that are mostly susceptible to this kind of thing.

The home game against the Pacers scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled as a result of Monday twin bombings in the city of Boston.

A trivial matter but thankfully its not going to affect any seeding as the east is already fixed. Beantown will rebound, that's what we do!

Thanks my dear brother. So sad for those who lost lives & the 100+ in hospitals fighting for their lives. Bring to reality the fact some people in less fortunate countries live with this everyday. May God save this world.

Atheist makes the section interesting 'cos they create room for said xtian to question and defend their faith and also know more about what they believe, though for those standing strong in their faith..

Sincerely i have learnt so much about my faith and how atheist think discussing with atheist on this forum.

Hi Pastor Olu, how body now? I've been on NL since 2007 and I'll tell you this section goes through so many seasons. Seasons with different posters, different topics etc...sometimes Catholic topics dominate, sometimes topics on tithing, other times anti-religion topics, other times RCCG topics... if you hang around long enough you'll get to see all the different flavors and learn a thing or two about all these different topics. Right now there are many anti-religion topics, in just a week or month, it will be pro-religion topics and vice versa.

Just try to follow yooguyz advice and follow/read from/discuss with those who you learn from and your time here will be meaningful. Godbless sir .

its good to ask questions about ones faith. To a certain degree, skepticism is a healthy trait, it will keep you on your spiritual toes lest you be at ease in Zion.

Mat 24:34 is up there among the most difficult passages to explain so of course you would struggle with it. There are no short, easy answers. If you have some time, check out this link, very detailed and goes into several theories. Godbless.

Seun owns NL (you know that right?). Yes, he does moderate (lock, hide, ban, caution etc) in any or every section he may happen to be in around the forum. There are also supermods who 'quietly' moderate here and other sections, MMW & myself are simply the visual mods. There are atheist mods to provide balance to the christian ones so there is no bias, and as you said, Seun himself is an atheist. Cheers.

lol. Serious. Florida is so susceptible to "invasions" from non native species (due to their climate I guess). They have bigger problems...crocs, burmese pythons etc...I won't be moving to the gulf coast anytime soon.
