I love living in Beantown. Fantastic place all around. And even as we're talking about Boston, you cannot even compare neighborhoods within the city...a place like Roxbury cannot compare with say Allston, or Mattapan with Beacon Hill. They are literally like night & day.

I am more than glad u, ur family and friends are doing fine, in-fact i kept calling one of my very good friend's number who was vacationing in Boston to see this same Marathon, he did not pick for hours and that really scared me, but i was grateful to God when he returned my call and gave me a detailed personal experience.

My brother thank you oh. And thank God your friend is safe...the whole thing just sucks. Can't wait for them to catch the bastards (excuse my french) and have an accident happen to them while in custody so many innocent children in the hospital with limbs blown off...sad sad.

Sal C: Many people has undoutedly posted or read alot on nairaland religion section. Pls feel free to let us know how helpful or disastrous it has been to you so far.

I've been in this section since 2007 so I think I have some experience behind me .

I have seen people convert & de-convert and some re-convert back. Back when we were all sharing this space with muslims there were even more fireworks - this section brings out both the best & worst in people.

As for me, this section has definitely changed my thinking in many regards - and I believe in God & Jesus Christ more strongly now than I ever have. There are some wise, seasoned posters in here both christians & deists such mnwankwo, myjoe, justcool etc...and even as a christian you will learn so much from these guys if you take the time to read their entries. As for my christian brethren, we may be dysfunctional and quibble atimes, but those of my fathers household are my beloved.

and Sal, don't go by a few comments on this thread...one must not be misled by the false security that comes from numbers. And also knowing that those genuinely of the kingdom of God will be few in number. My advice is to seek out posters you can learn from (whether you agree with them or not) and follow/converse/spend time with them. This will make your time here profitable & meaningful. Cheers!
