Clinton:        Why are you living with your friends? Don't you have parents? Is it a must you live with friends.
Michelle:        (She looked sad.) I wish I could live with my parents sir.  But it's so sad that I can't live with them. I lost my family when I was very young.I am just an helpless orphan.
Clinton:       Michelle! I am sorry. I did not know that you don't have any family. Have your seat Michelle. (Michelle sat down on a chair opposite Clinton.) But how manage? How have you been coping all along?
Michelle:         I grew up with my foster parents and their only son before they sent me out of the house. I have been enjoying scholarship from the Federal government and that has been the only reason why I have made it this far.
Clinton:          You must have been through a lot. Am so sorry dear. I will think of how to help but for now I will take care of your transport. Give me your address before I leave today. We will come to work and leave together. Tell the others I want to see them all. You are not going to be a receptionist anymore. You will be my personal assistant.
Michelle:         (She stood and leaped for joy) Thank you so much sir. I can't thank you enough but I'm very grateful. Thank you sir.
Clinton:          You are welcome dear. From now on, feel comfortable with me and don't think of anything ill. I have my girlfriend. I only want to see you as a sister. I always see my late sister in you. So see me as your brother and always believe that you now have a family.
Michelle:         Yes Sir. I will leave now sir.
Clinton:          Alright dear. Let's go together. I need to fix something downstairs.

The year 11 students of Yahweh's College entered their class. They just got back to school after the session break. The students were neatly dressed. The female students were putting on a cream blouse tucked into a multicolored pink skirt. The skirt was just above their knee length. They were all putting on a black shoe both male and female. The male students were putting on a white shirt ticked into a cream trousers. They all sat down on their seat. Each of them faced one another gisting and making noise. Artus walked into the classroom with his bag pack. He wore the new school uniform and tucked his shirt neatly. He had a nice haircut.
Artus:         Good morning class.
All:            Morning.
(Artus looked around the class and saw Anne sitting at a corner with her eyes stalked on the book on her locker. He walked to her seat.)
Artus:          Hello! Good morning..
Anne:          (She raised her head up and smiled at Artus.) Morning Artus.
Artus:          Wow! You still remember my name. That's awesome. Can I know your name?
Anne:          Anne Smith.
Artus:          Anne. That's a beautiful name. (He smiled broadly revealing his dimples.) Can I sit here? Or is there someone else here.
Anne:          No. You can sit here.
Artus:          Thanks babe.
Anne:          You are welcome dear.
(Artus opened the locker and placed his bag pack in it. He sat on his new seat. Antonia stood up as she walked up to Anne and Artus.)
Antonia:        Hey newbie! You can't sit here.
Artus:          Oh! Really? But no one is seating here. Or you want to take the seat for yourself?
Antonia:        No. But she is meant to sit alone. You are new here. Don't get yourself into trouble.
Artus:          I don't know why she have to sit here alone. She already told me no one is sitting here. I don't have any problem sitting here then.
Gabrielle:       Young lad! You can't sit with her. Or Anne am I wrong about that?
(Anne kept quiet without giving any response. She grabbed Artus hand and ran out of the class with him. The three girls followed them immediately.

Three days after...
Artus and Anne walked down the street. Other students were also walking home.
Artus:        Anne!
Anne:        Yes.
Artus:        What happened in class today, do you have any explanation for that. This is the third time those girls will pick on you. All you have done all along is to keep quiet or walk away. What's going on?
Anne:         Nothing.
(Artus grabbed her hand and she looked into his eyes. She gazed at him as they both stopped walking.)
Artus:        Anne please. Tell me what's going wrong? I can help.
Anne:        (She grabbed her hand away from his grip. They both started walking again) I already told you there is nothing. You have to mind your business or else someone close to you will get hurt.
Artus:         I don't think I have anyone that will get hurt just because I want to help you. I am just an helpless orphan anyway.

Watching her cry hurts.......

Faramade: Although she pretended as if isn't crying but I felt it in her voice.... What happened again?
Roland: I think I have to start going now. You should go home and see her also.
Faramade: Alright. Let's see next week Monday. I'll be very busy this weekend.
Roland: Let's make our way out now or you still have something to fix here before leaving.
Faramade: Even if I have to build a whole castle right now, I'll dump it to go and take care of the woman I love. Let's go bro.
Roland: Alright.
(They both walked out of the office.)

That same day in Faramade's compound. He alighted from his car and saw Olafiwahan sitting on the bare floor. She looked weak and pale. Faramade rushed to meet her. She looked up and saw Faramade staring at her. She welcomed him with a fainting smile as she tried to stand but slipped off. Fortunately, she slipped into Faramade's arm.

Faramade: Are you sure that all is well?
Olafiwahan: Yes. ( she stood straight and smile. But it was obvious that she is not fine. Faramade left her to strand right.
Faramade: Let's go in.
(Olafiwahan walked in as Faramade followed. She sat on the couch.)
Faramade: Wait for me here while I go up to change. What will you take?
Olafiwahan: I'm fine. Don't leave me please. ( She sobbed.) Please, don't leave me alone. Please.....
Faramade: (He turned around and sat beside her making her head to rest on his shoulder.) I know and I'm very sure that all will be well. Can you just take the chance to tell me everything?
Olafiwahan: My dad is sick again. I don't know what to do. He is all I have left. The doctor said he is not sure he will survive it. Is this how I am going to lose everyone?
Faramade: No! My lady. I know one thing for sure that your dad will sure be fine. Just believe in God and be strong.
(Immediately, Olafiwahan's phone started ringing. She released herself from Faramade's grip. She picked her phone form her bag as she answered the call.
Olafiwahan: Hello doctor........ How is my dad?....... What! Emergency state! Oh! No....

Michelle:        Margaret! Good morning.
Margaret:       Morning. Mr Clinton said he wants to see you in his office before you sign in. Who knows maybe your charm won't work anymore.
Michelle:        Alright.
Margaret:       I don't know your problem. You are not married or feeding children and you still come late to work every blessed day. May God deliver you.
(Michelle walked up the stairs as she leaves the reception.)
Margaret:       I know that when our boss lay his eyes on that witch, nothing will happen. She will still come back to work here without any punishment.
(She bent down and picked a big file. She started writing.)

Michelle entered the office sluggishly. She wore a purple skirt and a pink shirt tucked in neatly into the skirt. She looked radiant and pretty.
Michelle:        Good morning sir. (She knelt briefly and straightened herself back)
Clinton:         Morning Michelle. Why are you just coming at this time of the day?
Michelle:        I am sorry sir.
Clinton:         Yeah. I know you are sorry and you need to be sorry. But for how long can that work here? People have been saying that I am having an affair with you and that's why I have not sacked you ever since you came. Do me a favor today. I need you to go back home now and prepare yourself for
tomorrow. I don't want to see you today. I have talked to you times without number that you have to be punctual in everything. You are very smart and brilliant but that won't crown it all. You need to add punctuality to it. Don't make me into a bad leader.
Michelle:        Sir, please! Am so sorry. My coming late is not intentional sir. I know you are angry with me and you have to. But my place is quite far from here and I don't have any other choice than to walk from there to the hotel. That's why I am unable to make it to the office as early as expected.
Clinton:         Where are you staying that caused your incessant late coming?
Michelle:        Adeleke street sir.
Clinton:         Adeleke what! That's almost three streets away from here. I stay in that area. Driving from there to the office takes me at least thirty minutes and you trek from there to this hotel everyday. Michelle! How can that be possible?
Michelle:        Sir, I am saying the truth. I come from there everyday. I stay with my friends and I don't have any other choice than to live there for now.
Clinton:      Why are you living with your friends? Don't you have parents?

The lonely journey

Clinton:        (He cuts in) But why are you here when you studied that kind of course?
Michelle:       It's a story I don't want to talk about sir.
Clinton:        It's okay. You can resume work on Monday.
Michelle:       Thanks so much sir. I'm very grateful.
Clinton:         It's my pleasure miss.
Michelle:       And I am gladly honored sir.
Clinton:        You will get your uniform and get acquainted with working here once you resume on Monday. We'll discuss your pay and let me inform you that you will be working at the reception. You look very brilliant and I hope you help in promoting the good name of the hotel. I will look forward to seeing you on Monday.
Michelle:       (she smiled) Thank you sir. (She stood up and walked out of the office smiling broadly)
Clinton:        (He smiled as he watched her walk out of the office.) Wow! She is such a beauty. She is just like my Monica. What a damsel with beauty and good intellect. (He picked up his phone and made his way out of the office)
Clinton walked in to the reception where he saw Margaret.
Margaret:       Good morning sir. (She bowed her head and raised it back)
Clinton:         Good morning dear. (He looked around) What of Michelle? Don't tell me she hasn't resumed work today.
Margaret:       She hasn't resume work sir.
Clinton:         No problem. Tell her I want to see her in my office when she come.
Margaret:       Alright sir.
Clinton:         Tell her that before signing in. I must see her. Punctuality is the sole of business. Michelle's case is getting out of hand.
(Clinton walked up the stairs as Margaret watched him go.)
Margaret:        I know that's all he has to say. Nothing will end it anyway. She has been coming late since the first day she resumed but he has done nothing. It's almost a month now. Let's wait and see if he will do anything this time.
(Michelle entered the reception with her bag. She looked around to see if there was no other person other than Margaret.)
Michelle:        Margaret! Good morning.
Margaret:       Morning. Mr Clinton said he wants to see you in his office before you sign in. Who knows maybe your charm won't work anymore.

I have feelings for my drunkard crush

Faramade:. If you fell for her beauty. Then you'll not be able to withstand that of her friend.
Roland:. Not at all. I don't care how beautiful her friend is. I like her. She is good enough for me.
Faramade:. Seems like you're determined this time around. But friend, are you sure of what you're saying?
Roland:. Yeah! I'm very sure. Let's keep that aside. How's that your drunkard crush. Thought you said you will invite her over for weekend.
Faramade:. Yeah! I did. But she left with anger when I refused her from taking alcohol.
Roland:. Really?
Faramade:. Yea.
Roland:. You know I wish to see that young lady. Her story still weaks me. But, I think the only solution to her situation is love. She needs love to give up the drinking habit she is used to.
Faramade:. And you think she will find that? Or will she even embrace love or reciprocate love?
Roland:. That's just the problem.
Faramade:. I don't think you came all the way from your house to talk about her.
Roland:. Not at all. Friend! You're really making it. You should think of marriage also. All these riches ought to be enjoyed by your bloods. You have enough properties and you have worked for more by yourself. So what are you still waiting for nigga.
Faramade:. I'll do that when the right time comes and the right woman comes.
Roland:. For how long will that be? Always remember that time is not always on your side
Faramade:. Same with you friend. Think about that also. Let's put that aside. I'm famished.
Roland:. Okay. Let's go to that usual place now.
Faramade:. Sure! We will. Let me just gather one or two of this files. Then we will go.
Roland:. Okay!

Two weeks later.....

Roland entered the reception. Ololade stood up to greet him.
Ololade:. Good morning sir.
Roland:. Morning. What of your boss?
Ololade:. He is not around. He went out not too long ago.
Roland:. Okay. You can have your seat now. Stop treating me like I am God or something.
Ololade:. Alright sir. (She sits.) You can have your seat also sir.
Roland:. (He sits on a chair behind him.) Thanks. You know... Have been hearing a lot of good reports from my friend about you.
Ololade:. Oh! That's please to hear sir.
Roland:. I'm very sure a lot of people would have told you how beautiful you are. But... Seriously... I did not fall for that alone. I fell for your personality as well.
Ololade:. (She picked up her phone.) Hello sir. Mr Roland is waiting for you at the reception sir. Okay. ( She dropped the phone and turned to Roland.) Sir. My boss said he can't make it back to the office today. He said you can meet up with him at the usual place.
Roland:. Alright. Don't forget my discussion with you dear. I'll buttress on that next time we meet. I need to go now.
Ololade:. No problem sir. Take care of yourself and have a nice day sir.
Roland:. And you. (He made his way out of the reception.)

That same day....

Roland sits in a restaurant. Faramade walked in.
Roland:. What's up bro?
Faramade:. I'm good. (He sits on the chair opposite him.) And you?
Roland:. Always good.
Faramade:. How's work?
Roland:. All good. What about that case you're working on?
Faramade:. Still on it o. They keep bringing more evidence ni o.
Roland:. Are you serious? That case is becoming wider than we thought then.
Faramade:. Seriously! It is. I had to adjourn the case till next week Friday. Let's keep that aside. I have plans to ask this girl out.
Roland: Really! Which girl is that? Who has gotten your attention after all this years?
Faramade: It's no other person than my drunkard crush. I think I have feelings for that girl.
Roland: That's true. I knew it from the start. And she really needs someone like you to help her get over her past.
Faramade: But I'm planning to take things slow with her.... (His phone rings..) Hello.. Fiwahan! You're waiting for me at home. Okay! No problem. I'll join you soon........
Roland: Who is Fiwahan?
Faramade: My drunkard crush. I need to meet up with her. She was crying when she called.

Orphan again

Rachael:        Jude! What is going on here?
Jude:           Mama! You won't believe it but I caught this witch stealing. She must have been doing this for long. But fortunately I caught her today. I will make sure I punish for the wrong she has done. It wasn't enough that you and dad raised her for the past fifteen years. She has never been grateful to us and now she is even stealing from us.
Rachael:        I knew that you are a thief from the beginning. I have done enough with you. I don't want to see you in this house. Pack your things and leave my house. I have done my best to train you. At least now you have your ND result with you. I have tried my best.
Michelle:        Mama! please! I did not steal anything Mama. I have always been obedient to you all my life Mama please. I have no where to go.
Jude:           And who cares about that. If you can't be useful for my mother , you can't stay here.
Michelle:        Mama! please! I beg you please. I don't know anyone here Mama. Have mercy on me Mama.
Rachael:        You should have begged your shameless parents not to die. That would have been better. Witch! (She turned to Jude) you! go inside and bring her things. I don't want to see her in my house anymore. Enough is enough.
(Jude walked into Michelle's room and came out with two big bags. He threw the bag outside and pushed Michelle outside also. He slammed the door against her. Michelle wept continuously as she carried her load down the dark street.)
Michelle carried a small clutch as she made her way down the street. She walked to a poster pasted on the wall of a bill board in that street. The bill board has the information;
      Vacancy! Vacancy! Vacancy!
Competent workers are needed at Toma's hotels.
Michelle:      This is a great opportunity I must not loose at all. I have to go to this hotel and submit my CV. I hope favor will work with me by God's grace.
(She walked away from the notice board)

Clinton was writing on his table when Michelle walked in. He raised up his head and became astonished on seeing the beauty that walked into his office. Michelle broke the silence and suspicious gaze manifested in Clinton.
Michelle:       Good morning sir.
Clinton:        Morning. Have your seat. You are here for the interview right?
Michelle:       (she sat on the chair opposite Clinton) Yes sir.
Clinton:        Introduce yourself then.
Michelle:       I am Michelle Davis.
Clinton:        Alright. Miss Michelle Davis right?
Michelle:       Yes sir.
Clinton:        Do you have any working experience before?
Michelle:       None sir. I  completed my ND programme last year. I finished my industrial training six months ago.
Clinton :        So what was the course you studied during the programme?
Michelle:       Mass communication sir. I finished from the Federal polytechnic....
Clinton:        (He cuts in) But why are you here when you studied that kind of course?

My playboy friend wants to love

Olafiwahan: (She looks restless.) But why?
Doctor: Actually... You have to take it easy madam. The accident victims all lost their lives except your dad. He can't walk anymore also but he is still alive.
Olafiwahan: (She falls from the chair lifeless. )
Flashback ends

Ololade: That was how she lost her fiance and her families in the accident when it was just three weeks to her wedding.
Faramade: That's serious. That's drastic and seriously it's too much for her to bear. Even I can't bear this. I really did not know that was what she had experienced.
Ololade: Yes sir. Unless she's drunk, she can't stop thinking of that incident.
Faramade: I think I need to meet her and have a talk with her. But, how is her dad?
Ololade: Her dad has been on the wheelchair since then.
Faramade: That's saddening. May God comfort her.
Ololade: Amen. Thanks sir.
Faramade: I'm going out for now. I'll see you and talk to you later. Please make sure you drop her contact before you leave for the day.
Ololade: No problem sir.

Three days later.....
Olafiwahan was putting on a jogger suit as she walked down the street alone. She held a small towel in a way that indicates that something is hidden in it. A car stopped beside her. The driver peeped out of the car. It was Faramade.
Faramade: Olafiwahan! Good morning.
Olafiwahan:. (She turned to look at him with a broad smile.) Morning. What are you doing in my street as early as it is?
Faramade: Actually, I came to see a friend here. I spent the night at his place. Now, I'm leaving for my own house. (He smiled.)
Olafiwahan: Oh! I see! No problem then.
Faramade: You know what? You will never stop amazing me. As early as it is, you are still smelling of beer.
Olafiwahan: (She rolled her eyes and smiled.) You know what Mr? To me, it ain't too early at all. I'm conscious and in my right state. So it's okay as long as I'm not drunk too stupor.
Faramade: Alright! If you say so, I'm gonna hang out with you. If you don't mind, I'll drop you off at home before I go on my own way.
Olafiwahan: As expected of you as a gentleman, you've done the needful. And I'll do the needful by not rejecting your offer. (Olafiwahan walked to the other side of the car. She hopped into the car smiling. She closed the door.) You can drive on.
Faramade: Alright! But Olafiwahan! What's that in your hand. (He glued his eyes on the towel in Olafiwahan's hand.)
Olafiwahan: You want to know it. You sure a judge. (She opened the towel and brought out the canned beer.) Here we go. So can you drive now?
Faramade: ( He shaked his head and smiled.) Olafiwahan! Alright! I'll drive. (He started his car and drove off. He looked at his side to see Olafiwahan who was fast asleep. He smiled and stopped the car.) Fiwahan! (He tapped her. She opened her eyes and yawn.)
Olafiwahan: Oh my goodness! I can't believe I slept off.
Faramade: You can get down now and go sleep the rest in your room. I'll see you later in the evening. If you will not mind, I might ask for too much. I'll be honored to have you as a guest in my house this evening.
Olafiwahan: Okay! Thanks for the ride. I'll honor your invitation for sure. Bye for now. ( She hopped out of the car and closed the door.)
Faramade: What a nasty human being. Olorun ku ise lorun. (He started the car engine and drove off.)

The next Monday a Faramade's office......

Roland entered Faramade's office.
Faramade:. (He stood up on his feet and smiled.) What's up my nigga?
Roland:. (He streched his hand to shake Faramade.) I'm good friend.
Faramade:. You can have your seat friend. ( He sits.)
Roland:. (He sits.) Hey! Guy! Who is that pretty girl?
Faramade:. Which of them?
Roland:. That black beauty.
Faramade:. Ololade!
Roland:. Yeah! Exactly! That girl is damn pretty friend. I must have her.
Faramade:. No! No! I won't allow that. You only need a girl for a night. But you can't find one in my own office. That girl is a very good girl. And I'll not allow a bad boy like you ruin her for me.
Roland:. Ruin her! Am I that bad?
Faramade:. Yea.
Roland:. No! I'm not nigga. You're just been over protective. I like the girl though. And I wish to marry her. I'll have no regrets ending up with that kind of woman.

Racheal:       Drop it in the store for me. When you are through come back here. You need to go and fetch water for me at the next junction.
Michelle:       But Mama, I thought Mr ofo has come to repair the borehole this evening.
Racheal:       So you think am a fool right? I don't know what to say at the right time right? So I am not sensible enough to send the girl that I have been raising for the past fifteen years even without knowing her parents. You still think am not sensible enough right.

Jude:           Michelle! What have I done wrong to deserve all this from you? I love you so much and I want to live my whole life with you my dear.
Michelle:        Jude! You can leave now. We are siblings for crying out loud.
Jude:           Spare me that please. You are my foster sister not biological sister. Don't get it twisted at all. There is nothing wrong if we decide to show love towards ourselves. (He drew closer to Michelle and forcefully grabbed her. He tried to place his lips on hers but was stopped as she slapped him on his right cheek. He grabbed his cheek and left Michelle. He looked at her with anger and  pulled her by the hair to the living room. He picked up his belt on the chair as he started hitting her  with it.)
Michelle:        Jude! Please! Please! (she cried loudly and kept begging until Rachael walked in.)

Faramade:        Good! But I don't think you can drive in this condition.
Olafiwahan:       ( She waved her hands and smiled.) No! Don't worry. I'm fine. I can drive myself.
Faramade:        If you say so. But please take this your belongings along with you.
Olafiwahan:       Oh! Yes! I will! ( She bent down and pick the cans. She walked down to her car.)

The next day.....
Faramade sat in the office.. Ololade entered.
Ololade:      Good morning Sir.
Faramade:    Morning Ololade.

Ololade:      How're you this morning Sir?
Faramade:          Very well my dear.
Ololade:            Sir... I ... I actually came to see you to discuss something important with you.
Faramade:          Really? Go on then.
Ololade:            Sir! I came to plead with you in place of my friend. I know she has offended you and has pleaded. But the issue right now is that you've not forgiven her.
Faramade:           Literally no. I have forgiven her.  But she's not ready to turn a new leaf. You can't believe she still got drunk that same day. She just looks razz and acts irresponsible.
Ololade:             She's far from what you think she is. She is kindhearted. It was situation that made her into what she became.
Faramade:           Whatever situation she's passing through doesn't warrant her ruining her future.
Ololade:             You're right sir. But if you actually know what she has faced, you would understand her a little bit. Nine months ago......
                           Flashback
Martin rushed down the stairs.
Olafiwahan:      Martin! Can you please wait? ( she walked down the stairs.)
Martin:          Fiwahan! You yourself know we are running late for the airport. I'm going to pick my honourable in-laws at the airport while you sit back and prepare the best delicacy you can for us.
Olafiwahan:       Alright! If that's how you want it. Then don't take too much time and drive gently.
Martin:          My woman! I've heard you. I won't take much time. And I'll miss you.
Olafiwahan:      Same here my love. You should start going now. (Martin walked out of the living room. Olafiwahan went upstairs.)

      Two hours later..
Olafiwahan went to pick her phone on the bedside locker.
Olafiwahan:      Hello my love.... What! Accident! Where! How! I'll be right there.
(She picked her car key and rushed out of the house.)

At the hospital..
Olafiwahan rushed into the reception. She turned to the nurses.)

Nurse 1:         Are you the relative of the accident victims?
Olafiwahan:      Yes.
Nurse 2:         Then you have to go see the doctor ma. Please follow me.
Olafiwahan:      She followed the nurse as they entered the doctor's office. The nurse left and Olafiwahan sat down looking so curious and sad.)
Doctor:          Welcome madam.
Olafiwahan:      Thanks. Please, can I see them now?
Doctor:        Am so sorry.... You can't see any of them.

Ololade: (She sits.) I'm sitting already. So now let me break the news to you. My new boss at my new place of work is Mr Faramade.
Olafiwahan: ( She leaped for joy.) Are you serious? No! You can't be. Faramade! Your boss. That's very good then. I think I'll now have peace of mind. But it ain't good either.
Ololade: Why?
Olafiwahan: What if he learns that we're friend and gets you fired?
Ololade: He can't. You won't believe it but he recognized me first. He said me getting a job has nothing to do with you and him.
Olafiwahan: Really? Are you sure? You know I have a miserable life and I don't want to affect mine with yours. My life has been miserable e.....
Ololade: (She cuts in.) I have warned you time without numbers that your life is not miserable. Everything happens for a reason. I assure you that you will soon have a reason to smile and be happy.
Olafiwahan: Let's leave my life aside and celebrate your success.
Ololade: We're not celebrating anything. That's your means of getting drunk again. I need to go home now. I'll text you his address soon.
Olafiwahan: If you say so. It's no problem. I still have three packs of beers at home. I'll take them on my own.
Ololade: I know you won't listen. You're adamant and you have a strong self will. But babe.... You need to stop this. Make hay while the sun shines. You are not getting younger.
Olafiwahan: Babe! I did not ask for stories. Seriously. It's my life and I'll live it the way I want. Please come and be going. Make it fast. I need to get myself drunk.
Ololade: Now I understand you. I'm leaving already. Drunkard. (She walked out of the house. Olafiwahan went upstairs.)

Three days later....
Ololade was driving her car. She kept driving revealing that she was trailing another car. The car she was trailing stopped in front of a building. The car entered the building. Ololade reversed and drove back.

That same day....
Olafiwahan stood in front of the door and knocked twice. Faramade opened the door.
Olafiwahan: Hello.... (She waved her right hand and smiled.)
Faramade: (He banged the door at her.)
Olafiwahan: Please! Can you please try to hear me out? Hello! Are you there! Oh my God! (she walked away.)

Five hours later
Faramade walked down the stairs. He opened his front door. He looked shocked when he saw Olafiwahan sitting on the bare floor sleeping. He walked up to her. He saw three cans of beers lying on the floor beside her.
Faramade: She still got drunk. (He shakes his head twice to and fro.) Fiwahan! (He tapped her.)
Olafiwahan: (She opened her eyes and look at him. She stood up straight and smiled.) Hi!
Faramade: Yeah! Hi! Why are you still here?
Olafiwahan: Uhm... Actually... I ..
Faramade: Can you please say what you have to say?
Olafiwahan: I came here to apologize for what I did that day. I was drunk and I couldn't control myself.
Faramade: And you're still drunk......

Faramade:              Oh! Really? You want me to forgive you? But as sunny as it is, you're still stinking of beer. You don't even worth my forgiveness. (The waitress walked up to meet Fara made with the food pack.  He turned around and saw her.  He collected the food packed from the waitress and walked out of the eatery with anger.)
Olafiwahan:              ( She covered her face with tears flowing down her cheeks incessantly.) I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Ololade:          .       My lady! Please rise up and let's go. (She walked up to her and raised her up.)

Faramade:        Morning miss. Come have your seat.
Ololade:          Thanks sir..... I'll sir.
Faramade:        You're shivering. Are you scared of the interview or you're scared of me?
Ololade:          ( She sat down.) I'm not scared sir.
Faramade:        If you say so. But you look familiar.
Ololade:          Sir! Oh! Yes sir.
Faramade:        Are you sure you are okay?
Ololade:          Very well sir.
Faramade:        I think I have seen you somewhere.
Ololade:          Yes sir. I'm Olafiwahan's friend. The girl that was apologizing to you that afternoon in the eatery.
Faramade:        Correct! I know for sure that I have seen you somewhere. So was that the reason why you've been shivering?
Ololade:          It's not like that sir. I'm just scared you might decide to fail me cos of what my friend did to you that night.
Faramade:        No I can't for Christ sake. You're another person. We will talk about your friend's issue later. But for now, let's deal with your own case. We've viewed your CV and your résumé. And I'm very sure you'll be fit for the job. You can resume on Monday.
Ololade:          Wow! Thanks so much Sir. You have a very good heart. Thanks so much. I'm very grateful.
Faramade:        It's alright. You can take your leave.
Ololade:          Alright sir.
(Ololade walked out of the office with a broad smile and happiness written all over her face.)

Ololade rushed into the house rejoicing.  She walked up to the staircase with smile on her face as she called out to her friend.
Ololade:          Fiwahan! Come out right now. I have got good news for you.
Olafiwahan:       (She walked down the staircase to join her friend in the living room. They exchanged hug. She withdrew herself. ) I'm here. What's with the celebration? How was your interview? You got the job right?
Ololade:          Yes! You're right. But that's not all. (she winks.)
Olafiwahan:       ( She sits down and watched her friend who was smiling.) I guess you're so happy that you're not ready to sit. It's okay. So what else?

Ololade:            What do I need to know? What! I told you before that you're taking too much drink. But you insisted and chased me. Babe! Who you offended now, I'm not sure you can recognize him or can you?
Olafiwahan:          Yes! I can remember his face and his name. I wasn't that drunk when he came to sit beside me.
Ololade:             So what's his name mama?
Olafiwahan:          Faramade.
Ololade:             Okay. We now know who we're pleading to.
Olafiwahan:          You know him?
Ololade:             No I don't.  But it's easier to find him since you know his name.
Olafiwahan:          You're right Darling. But where do I find him?
Ololade:             Let's keep that aside for now. What are your plans? Dad's health and your future. How're you planning it?
Olafiwahan:        You know I don't have problem with getting a job for any reason. But the problem is how do I concentrate? I'm depressed.
Ololade:             Enough of this your depression story! What are your plans right now?
Olafiwahan:          I don't know! I don't have any plans.
Ololade:            But why babe! What's going on with you these days? It's time you get rid of this depression story.  Why are you like this?  You had a bad experience.  But you are not the only who had a sad story. Just tell me! You lost your mom and your siblings with your lover. Yes I understand. It's very hard. But you have to move on. Not tagging yourself as a poor drunkard. Let your father smile for once in the little years he has left.
Olafiwahan:       (Tears ran down her cheeks. She stared at Ololade as she wiped her tears away. ) No matter how I try to explain, you will never understand until it happens to you. I'll take my leave. (She stood up and tried to pick her bag.  Ololade grabbed her hand.)
Ololade:           Olafiwahan! That's not what I am trying to imply...... I never meant to hurt you. I just want a better life for you my dear.
Olafiwahan:        And I wish you can face what I faced. When your own wedding is just three weeks away and you loose your family and that same man you're getting married to. Excuse me. ( Olafiwahan removed Ololade's hand and picked her bag. She stood up and barged out of the living room with tears flowing down her cheeks.)
Ololade:           Olafiwahan! I swear! I did not mean that. ( she runs after her.)

Waitress:              Good afternoon sir.
Faramade:             Afternoon young lady.
Waitress:              What will you like us to offer you sir?

The hangover
Faramade:      Miss! You're drunk. You should sit down quietly. You're a lady. Getting drunk wasn't enough but you want to injure yourself.
Olafiwahan:      Hey! (She stood straight and frowned.) I thought I warned you to mind your business. (She walked back into the clubhouse. She continued dancing. Faramade entered the clubhouse.  He saw her dancing again.  He walked up to her and dragged her out of the clubhouse. He stopped at the front of the clubhouse.)
Faramade:        I stopped you from getting yourself injured...  But you still went back there.  I want you to stay here while I go in. I'll bring your bag. (He turned back but Olafiwahan dragged him to herself and slapped him. She walked in angrily and came out with her bag. Faramade stood still  holding his cheeks with his two hands as he watched Olafiwahan walk away.)

Olafiwahan stood up on the bed holding her head. She was still having hangover. She stood still as she recall how she slapped Faramade.
                       Flashback
Faramade dragged her out of the clubhouse. He stopped at the front of the clubhouse.)
Faramade:     I want  you to stay here while I go in.  I'll bring your bag.
(Olafiwahan dragged Faramade to herself and slapped him.)
                       Flashback ends
Olafiwahan:        Oh my God! (She hits her forehead and dropped herself helplessly on the bed.) God! I don't know this guy. He tried to be nice but I was too rude. How do I find him? I can't call Ololade. I already made her angry. I'm confused. How do I find him?
(She stood up and walked into the bathroom.)

Olafiwahan sat in the sitting room. Ololade entered and join her with a tray filled with fruit juice and two cups. She placed it on the table.
Ololade:         Babe! What's up now? (She sits beside her.) So how did you make your way home? Don't tell me you drove yourself home at that state?
Olafiwahan:      I did.
Ololade:         Wow! But babe, am still angry with you.
Olafiwahan:      Babe! I know you'll forgive me. But I've offended someone and I am not sure he will.
Ololade:         Someone! I don't think there's anyone you'll offend that won't forgive you. Fiwahan! Whosoever you offended, let me know. I'll even join you in apologizing to the person. But all the same. Fiwahan! This is getting too much.
Olafiwahan:       Lolade! You're very right about this. It's getting too much. And I'm getting out of hand. I'm just too depressed to think straight. This guy has done nothing wrong to offend me. I was drunk and I danced shamelessly in the clubhouse. But he saw me falling, he grabbed me, scolded me like a brother will do and dragged me out of the party. He made his way in to even bring me my bag. But I dragged him back and rewarded him with a sounding slap. I slapped him Ololade. And you know what?
Ololade:            What do I need to know? What? (She stared at her profusely with anger written all over her.) I told you before that you're taking too much drink. But you insisted and chased me. Babe! Who you offended now, I'm not sure you can recognize him or can you?

Will Olafiwahan be able recognize her saviour or not
Literature / A Lifetime Revenge (episode 1) by Jesuloluwatemi(f): 12:41am On Feb 11, 2019
Olafiwahan walked into the club house with Ololade. The club was filled with young ladies and men. Some sat in two, one and in group. Ololade looked straight and pointed her finger at a corner. She held Olafiwahan's hand as they both walked down to the corner. They both sat on a sofa. Olafiwahan's eyes was glued to the bar. She beckoned to the waiter who walked up to the ladies immediately.
Waiter: Good evening ladies. You can make your request.
Olafiwahan: Get me a bottle of chilled fayrouz with vodka and....
(Ololade cuts in)
Ololade: That's enough. Just get her the two and get me a bottle of fayrouz. If there's anything more, we will let you know.
Waiter: Alright ma'am.
(He turned around and walked away)
Olafiwahan: (She stared at Ololade with much anger.) Why did you stop me from making my orders?
Ololade: Babe! You're not a drunkard. Don't make yourself into one. That will not turn things around for you. You should consider working towards making your father happy. You're all he's got. He has lost his properties and wife which is your mom. But he is still living because he believes that you're still there to make his dream come true.
Olafiwahan: You will never understand how it feels to have more than enough but live like he who has none. Just let me be.
Ololade: Drink yourself to stupor then. That's how I would understand isn't it?
(The waiter walks in with their order. He dropped them on the table and left.)
Olafiwahan: Ololade! I swear. I am trying to understand how I can survive but it's too hard for me to live alone. Where do I start from? (She opened the two bottles. She poured the two drinks into a glass cup as she sips it and then drank everything at once. She refilled the cup and did the same simultaneously .)
Ololade: Babe! You're rushing it. You have to calm down.
Olafiwahan: (She beckoned to the waiter. He walked up to her) Please get me two more bottles each.
Ololade: Please don't give her anything anymore. I beg you.
Olafiwahan: Babe! Do you have any problem with me? If you're not convenient with me drinking you can just leave. You're frustrating me already. I can't stand you anymore.
She stood up and walked to the other corner of the clubhouse.) Waiter!
Waiter: (He rushed down to meet her.) Ma'am! I'll get them for you now.
(Ololade walked out of the clubhouse angrily.)(Faramade walked into the clubhouse. He looked at the corner where Olafiwahan was sitting. He sat beside her and greeted her.)
Faramade: Hi miss! I'm Faramade. And you?
Olafiwahan: I'm Olafiwahan.
(The Waiter brought her order and dropped it on the table.)
Faramade: Waiter please get me a bottle of chilled Fayrouz.
Waiter: Alright sir!
Faramade: (He turned to Olafiwahan.) How're you doing miss?
Olafiwahan: Am good. Please I came to sit here alone because I don't want anyone to disturb me. I hope you understand.
Faramade: Oh! Yeah! I do. I am sorry.
(The Waiter dropped the drink and left.)
(Olafiwahan stood up as she staggered to dance. She was dancing continuously with no rest. She slipped as she fell helplessly. Faramade walked up to her. He helped her up and dragged her out of the clubhouse. He stopped outside the hall staring at her angrily.)
Faramade: Miss! You're drunk....
