Curlie: If it is transcripts you are talking about and you both didn't finish from the same school, then don't try it, WES will void both docs cuz it is school that ought to send the transcripts and there's no way two different schools will put correspondence in same envelope. If however its copies of your certificates you want to send, then you may send it together. A better and costless alternative is to use online fax facility to send them(ensure you have written the reference number on the certificates before sending). |

shamecurls: It shouldn't, except in some Provincial Nominations where they require that you have at least one year education related to your profession but largely, it might be irrelevant at the end of the day so, you can start your application. 1 Like |

Ladon7: Contact the schools yourself, you should likely get one that will accept 2:2 and if not, you can then get PGD instead. However note, the cost of going through school is much more than through PR |

Bumdesh: You must include details of all your education and upload the certificate of completion of the programme but should however indicate the ones you don't have ECA for. If you indicate you don't have ECA for the lower degrees, they won't penalize you for it. The incomplete documentation is as a result of uploading only ECA for your highest qualification and you overlook uploading certificate for the ones you inputed their history but you didn't provide certificate for 1 Like 1 Share |

40manlappy: I'm good bro! Yeah, there might be some easing up in the system soon but then, that might favour inland applicants more. We anticipate the new programme being proposed by the Atlantic provinces early next year, that should favour outland applicants by God's grace. I think the challenge for quite some people now is the exchange rate and how its shooting up the amount required for pof. I pray God will help us and make a way in Jesus name 4 Likes |

Bellniki1: Go to the page where your score is displayed in your EE Profile, scroll down and you will see a place where your EE Profile number is displayed, click on that and you will see a small drop down showing a short link saying 'click here'. Click on it and it will download a pdf message of your EE details, open the pdf and you will see the specific job bank link you are to use in registering your job bank account. 1 Like |

For everyone who needs to contact WES, your best, most reliable and costless means is to reach them via fax. You can send free fax messages online. Google myfreefax, hellofax, etc, they provide free fax facility. Compose your message in microsoft word, and send it as an attachment through the free online fax facility, don't forget to provide your email as the channel through which WES will respond to you and, you should usually get a response from them either same day or the next. Those who need to send a copy of their certificate(s) to WES as well can use this medium. Their fax number is (+1) 416-972-9004. Try it and thank me later. 10 Likes 1 Share |

eagle13: You surely qualify to apply but your chances can't exactly be measured for now mostly because of your occupation. Some occupations give leverage to apply for other opportunities like provincial nominee programmes which serves as a booster for your application. However, try and use your job duty to find the equivalent of your occupation in Canada first, we can then know if you can leverage a PNP |

imii: I think your two year retail merchandiser might likely be in consonance with your 1year marketing, which should totally make 3years provided they are related. If that's the case, check NOC 6221 and 0621. You may be able to get help further if we can see your job description and details both for the marketing and the retail but, try and check the ones I suggested first. 1 Like 1 Share |

tolzbaby2016: Not necessarily, you may evaluate only your Masters, particularly if they are from different Naija schools as one school may delay the other but if the two degrees were obtained from the same school, you may submit the two to be evaluated. Meanwhile, note that you will pay more as each school will charge you for transcript and courier and for another courier money(if they don't do email response to verification) when they are responding to verification from WES 1 Like |

Gymme: I think I may have understood what the problem is. While filling your EE Profile, they usually ask you the year you qualified to practice the work experience you are claiming, its possible your friend wrote the date he graduated which obviously will negate the period cuz you cannot have been working a job only to then qualify to practice it after you have been working for some years. If the job falls under Skill Level 0, A or B and does not require a degree to do the job, he ought to have put the date he graduated from Secondary school instead since the work experience was after that period. I hope you understand what I'm saying. |

hsim247: Why did you mention 3years in the first place? It will be a problem which they will discover from your reference letters. Like i once mentioned, IRCC will award you marks based on the years of experience you have in a SINGLE NOC, not the lump sum of years you have been working. |

Nickoko: Nickoko: The guy in question said he studied part-time, he didn't say he worked part-time, you can work full-time and study part-time In Gymme's friend's case, it is the work that was part-time, not the study and there's a likely tendency one or two things is the case with the work experience he claimed cuz, IRCC never said anything about 'part-time work must be post-study'. Moreover, how will one work part-time when you have already finished studies |
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by JesusDWay(m): 8:21pm On Sep 14, 2016 |
Gymme: So many things could be the case otherwise, their clause of "part-time work of two years equal one year" should have included 'post-graduation work experience'. The possible situations in your friend's case may be that the job he was doing while studying didn't fall under Skill Level 0, A or B, it may be a volunteer job that was not remunerated as such, the requirement to work the job he claimed may be a Bsc which obviously he didn't have during the period he claimed he did the job, the total hours worked as part-time if added together ended up not meeting 1,560hours for two years or, even if it met it, since its in Canada, he's not meant to work more than 20hours a week as a student and the job is even supposed to be on campus which kind of jobs wont likely fall under skill type 0, A or B. At any rate, kindly help find out from your friend the kind of job he did which was rejected by IRCC, how many hours per week he worked and consistently for how long and also, what the required qualification for that job is. Thanks 1 Like |

semperfidelis: It's not compulsory for your experience to be related to your degree. The part-time work you did counts and, if you also worked while doing your part-time Bsc, it counts as well. However, you will need to get reference letters from the places you've worked to substantiate your claims, CIC requires it. |
