40manlappy: Check NOC 1111 for her to see if she fits and then look up Nova Scotia PNP, they may start soon. It's online now and you may have to upload all required docs in readiness for when it will open |

basingstoke: You certainly can, the professional exam to practice in Canada as a doctor has nothing to do with applying for Express Entry. I however advice that you attempt the stage 1 of the exam while you are processing the EE thing, I learnt they write it in Ghana and you can get a job with it when you get over there instead of wasting more time preparing and writing the exam over there, you will at least be working and preparing for the remaining 2 stages |

dupyshoo: Ermmm....actually, above 3years work experience will be useful in garnering the required 67 points under the 100points grid for FSW, which one is first assessed by before being scored for EE. 6years gets one the maximum score for work experience under FSW. 1 Like |

Everyone should please note this concerning NOCs, any NOC which its second digit is from 4 upwards will fall under skill type C or D, which does not qualify to apply for FSW programme under Express Entry. You may however check some province's nomination programme as some of them allow people of Skill type C to apply. |

mastacop: Your Occupation won't make you qualify(it appears it's not under Skill 0 or type A or B which are the occupations that are eligible), besides, it does not appear like there's anything like NOC 2451. This is aside the fact that 1year work experience is also not likely to suffice, even when it is the minium required, it hardly makes you get enough score in the FSW 100 point grid. |

esosa4real: Concentrate on having your credential evaluation done, it especially takes time for doctors and please note that, it is medical council of Canada that will do your evaluation www.mcc.ca Meanwhile, you aim at scoring clb 10(Canadian Language Benchmark) in your IELTS, that should conveniently get you to be invited to apply. You may only be able to create your profile after you have had your evaluation done and you have your IELTS result, which you are encouraged to score 8.5 in Listening(it's like 38/40), 8.0 in Reading(that's like 36 -37/40) and 7.5 each in both Writing and Speaking. God bless you |

Lawlan: Which Master programme are you looking at? The application period for Masters may have closed, I think they close it either end of January or end of March, you may look it up. It's an affordable school, about the cheapest in Canada but the Masters admission may be a bit tough except if it's a course that's not so competitive. I was offered admission there some years back but didn't get visa. You need to not only prepare for admission, prepare also for the visa. Best wishes 7 Likes 1 Share |

My take is that either TEHN(or what is the name of the group on nairaland that helps people) or good samaritans here can contribute 60k for the guy and let him go and pay for the new apartment so he can move out in peace. |

morgan2006: Check those provinces for details of their programmes. You may also qualify for New Brunswick but you have to attend one of their information sessions to be able to qualify. They also have priority occupations list and IT is one of them, which gives you a leverage. Check their website as well for details. Finally, one other way is by improving your IELTS score but I doubt if it will get you above 450 cuz of the Bsc you have, which you have to even be younger than 30. 2 Likes |

slimshady584: You'll be on a long thing cuz, family is what can help you get into Manitoba presently, friend connection is a long thing which may not even be sure for now. There could be other ways by which you can get in. I see you write well, that means your English is good...what's your profession? 1 Like |

morgan2006: Well....depending on your profession and if you meet the requirements for the provincial nomination of each of the province. However, the ones you may be presently eligible for will be Saskatchewan(not sure when it will open again this year), Nova Scotia(likely to open in June but they have list of occupations they want people for and yours must be there to qualify, same with Saskatchewan), Prince Edward Island(you only need to send a pdf form to them where you provide some details about yourself and they then contact you if they want you) and Manitoba(you will need to know someone there who will be ready to sponsor your application). 2 Likes |

ZannyShasha: You and hubby will write, this is to help shoot up your score. Age will drop your marks with like 5points i think. IELTS has nothing to do with getting your transcripts to be sent by your school to WES but, you must pay WES first and get a reference number which you will give to school as they will quote it in the covering note for the transcript. Schools generally dont give transcripts to students, so just pay them to use courier to send it to wes for you. Meanwhile, i advise you find a way of getting a scanned copy cuz there could be opportunities that will come which will require you to send scanned copies your transcripts. I hope with these few points of mine, i've been able to convince you and not confuse you.... 1 Like |

princey83: Everyone has stories. Much as what you have noted here may be happening, there are still people having an headway, Zandora here even shared her own experience. I've also read from someone who got a job like days after getting there so, it might just be different strokes for different folks. Dont get me wrong, i'm not putting down your submission but like someone mentioned, it may be necessary you avoid negative people and negativities when you get there so you don't get discouraged in the process of finding your feet. 7 Likes 1 Share |

yokus: You would have to let it go. Tell your agent to recreate a new EE Profile for you cuz the one you have now will expire when you dont submit your application. When he/she recreates your profile, you can then be in the pool again and get the chance to be selected again, then you can submit your documents to apply. Note that, it may not take time for all this to happen so, ensure you obtain the UK PCC asap. |

Inspinia: You have no idea what you are about getting yourself into, i advise you suspend everything including relationship with her. Trust me, people wanna divorce just a month after their wedding and that's what you will likely face if you marry her. Your eyes will suddenly open to what you are in for the rest of your life and you will wanna bail. You wont be the man in such marriage, i mean, this is a girl who have the gut to assault your own sister right in your presence and you have even attested to the fact that she's stronger than you, what do you think will happen if you have arguements in the marriage? You want her cuz she'll be a trophy wife, i pity your life, you'll know trophies can be lost, even Barca can lose their champions league trophy this season. Trust me, i dont see that marriage working, if you dont end up divorcing her, you will likely cheat on her in the marriage cuz you wont have peace with her and thereby open yourself up for temptation by other women. Infact, she herself can divorce you at the end of the day as she may not see you as man enough. You better throw away that your sissy love or feeling cuz as they say If love is blind, marriage will open your eyes, its better you learn from the saying than to experience it. If she really loves you, she will respect you somewhat. A word is enough for the wise 2 Likes |

jidecool: 3years and above is the highest required years of work experience so, it really doesn't matter if you claim 6years, you will very likely end up with the same score. Your IELTS score, your level of qualification and age are the major factors that determine your overall crs score and chances of being selected. 1 Like |

jidecool: One of them is what your EE assessment will be based on with the number of years of experience you have in it so, you can choose either as the main noc while the other will be additional. Meanwhile, both of them seem to be in demand in provinces like Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia so, go and check out those provinces and do the needful e.g, you can start your profile for the Saskatchewan when you go to their website and upload required docs and forms so that when they open it, you just submit before others fill it up. XavierCad: You will need to send both ND and HND to WES for the evaluation and they wont bill you separately, its just the single amount they charge everyone. Meanwhile, what you will be doing at the moment is not verification, verification is done by WES after you have initially sent them copy of your certificate and transcript sent by school. WES then sends verification request to your school to confirm the transcript came from them and when school responds, thats when WES eventually does the evaluation. You will get the reference number after you have paid to WES and the amount is either 233 or 322 CAD, depending on whether you want them to send the result to you via normal mail or courier. Turnaround time depends on when WES gets verification response from your school, which is definitely after they must have first gotten the transcript. They stated on their website that they process the evaluation in 20days or business days(cant say precisely now, check their website) after they have gotten the verification response from school. 1 Like |

ZannyShasha: There are many occupations in healthcare, the exact one you do is what can help us know if there are provincial nominations you can apply for. You are not restricted to any programme as such, you can do both fsw and provincial nomination at the same time. Infact, there are some pnp that needs you to have registered fsw under Express Entry first. My advice is that since you have a Masters, you should be the principal applicant and you guys need to move very fast with your credential evaluation processing and doing your IELTS, provided you have finally decided to move. Regarding your sister, you cant take her along, the people that qualifies as dependants are hubbies and children. |
