zeux: Your job title and details is what matters in this Canadian PR Application and its what determines your skill level or type, not your studies. To find your NOC, use your present job title to search for it and if you cant find an equivalent of your job title which must must have 60-70% same job details, use your job details to search it. This goes for every other person who might be trying to find their NOC |

cuteannie02: Those mentioned as professional degrees are specialized programmes which usually takes longer years to finish at Bachelors but the education is sufficient to practice and deemed equivalent of a Masters by CIC. WES will determine the Canadian equivalent of the MILR and I'm almost certain it will be a Masters so, you are good to go 1 Like |

Mindependent: Of all answers I've read, you are closest. What folks may not realize is that questions like these are testing your verbal reasoning and not mathematical skills, that's the first thing to know. 1.) It's basic English, they just want to throw you off balance by the statement that the glove is 100times the cost the cup. The statement says they are both N110 which simply means the cost of each of them is N110. 2.) The machines are working independently of each other and as such, they produced one doughnut each at the given time which invariably means the given time is also what it will take for the 100 machines and that is 10minutes. 3) This one took me time to figure out. The answer is that it is only possible by 'his calculation' and not anybody's so, doing mathematical calculations for how he will become a millionaire is a waste of your time. Come to think of it, the category of monetary riches that can make one a millionaire is a very broad range and we are not given any hint that the man wants to be a millionaire in tens or in hundreds. Therefore, only him knows the amount he's targeting to make as profit in millions which makes any calculation aside his own a waste of time 2 Likes |

elhey: You can use the below link to calculate your score: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp It can't go beyond what that calculator tells you. In case you are yet to do your ECA, you you should still indicate the equivalent of Bsc while filling your details in the calculator. |

reephat: Let WES decide. Better that way than go with speculations which is what we will likely tell you here cuz of the peculiarity of your case. Seems to me its a professional certificate and not an academic one and as such, it's not likely to be useful in getting marks for 2 CERTIFICATES. The only way it may count is if WES recognizes NFI as an academic institution licensed to award National degrees/diploma/Certificate but then, its still a speculation so, let WES decide |

Momoluwa: Your ACCA won't count anymore, HND is already evaluated as 2 Certificates, higher than a Bachelors which ACCA is evaluated to be. Your ACCA however comes in handy in getting CPA, it's Canadian equivalent, which certifies you to practice as an Accountant over there(I at least have heard of provinces like BC and Manitoba I think) |

linaluv: No chance. You are required to have at least one year post-secondary qualification and even at that, it still may not be sufficient. You should ideally have a first degree or, if you have ND, your IELTS score will need to be very high and it may be necessary you have family connection. I'll suggest you find another route like going to school there, as a means of migrating eventually |

What's your price for both Soya and Maize per tonne? I've been asking people to supply Soya on this forum since and nobody has been able to perform and the company who asked us to supply has resorted to going to Cotonou which is somehow. There's opportunity for you to make good money if you can supply those two products. Let me know your prices |

Hi Everyone! I wanna thank you all for the solidarity in bringing me back at this time as i got 6days less the time placed on my ban for an innocent mistake. Special thanks to Etfash, Deesom and all those who championed this, and also to those who have kept the thread alive like Irondome and the rest, of course not leaving out OUR BRAINY ZANDY (you single guys should shine your eyes very well o, especially those who won't be getting ITA soon ) Ok so, back to business. For those asking whether ICAN assessment will count towards getting points for 2 or more certificates, please note that any assessment result that does not equate whatever the qualification is as being a degree or a diploma or a certificate, won't get any score under educational factor therefore, ICAN which is being assessed as a professional study does not get scored. The only professional qualification i've seen that falls under the category as defined by CIC is ACCA, as it is assessed to be the equivalent of a 3year degree. Don't waste your time claiming points for 2certificates and at the end of the day when you have gotten ITA, CIC sees your ECA that one of the qulaifications is a professional study and then deduct your score which may then make you score less than the cut-off at that point, thereby rendering your application ineligible. You would have wasted time, hope and also your application fee of 550CAD as every application that doesn't sail through after ITA loses the application fee Finally, for those interested in Quebec, the application date has been shifted to January 25 which means for those who are yet to open their account online with them still have the grace to do so. Pls note that Quebec charges application fee of 765CAD for principal applicant and 162 i think, for each dependant. Check the link below for the online registration. God bless you all http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/mon-projet-quebec/index.html 2 Likes |
Family / Re: Why I Don't Want My Brother To Get Married To Her by JesusDWay(m): 11:52pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
I think your brother needs to know the truth, it's better that way such that he can heal from the wound. I'm not saying you should do it with a vengeful mind but, forgiveness doesn't leave out the fact that the truth can't be hidden, it is when it is opened that people can fully heal. Besides, how are we even sure the other party knows the situation - that his daughter wants to marry the son of whom he's had such history with? How are we sure the daughter herself doesn't know, and if she also finds out, that she also won't choose to cancel the wedding? The man ought to have started the fight with his brother in his lifetime as it's his brother who did something wrong by selling the property and not your Dad who bought it except if your Dad was warned and he still went ahead to buy it. Why did he wait till his brother's death before starting a lawsuit, when he knows your father's money was already taken to the grave? Much as I advocate forgiveness, lots of things needs to be sorted before they can go ahead with the wedding. Better for everyone to know what's up before they would have wasted money only to find things out on the Traditional Marriage day and then everything scatters, even your brother may take time to forgive you for not warning him earlier. The matter somehow may look like God wants to reconcile both families but who knows if God is also bringing this up to let you guys know your brother is about making a great mistake cuz if the lady has wickedness as well, God will help you people! 1 Like |

I've tried and tried to get who can supply Soyabeans in very large quantities of tonnes but no one has been able to perform yet, this is really somehow considering how people come here to say all sorts that they can supply. We got an opportunity from a company to supply and we are yet to deliver as most people who agree price with us will later say they are still looking for money to go buy it while we pay them when they deliver. We've lost money paying someone upfront and have decided until goods are delivered before we pay. We've also gotten Bank Guarantees for people and they ended up not performing while our experience with going to buy it ourselves hasn't been nice as we lost money because the 300bags they sell to us which should weigh 30tonnes just never weigh that much. If there's anyone here who has the capability to supply many tonnes of soyabeans and will collect money on delivery, the person should contact me ASAP - 07062601459 or simonawo@yahoo.com before the company closes the opportunity as they also go to Cotonou to buy |

bissiejoe: One or some combination of factors may be responsible. If there's an issue with any of the documents or forms submitted, if your pof is not 3months prior to application, if your employment reference letter doesn't show all the details required like hours of work, start date and positions held, etc. All these are however are speculations based on comparing those who got nominated fast and those yet to be, we are not SINP folks who can say exactly why(which they hardly do). Your case officer might be responsible as well and they did reply a mail sent to them asking why things are taking long, saying they repose the right to determine when the outcome of one's application will be. So, you can hope and pray for the best to come on time(someone mentioned how he did night vigil for 2months and his September application got nominated, which I'm yet to see any other September application nominated yet) 1 Like |

SlowlybtSurely: They seem to sometime ago chose those who applied to them but with IT Skills. They are running away cuz it's a small place, with just a population of 150k and surrounded by water which gives out there might not be many opportunities available there. Someone once joked that, except you want to be fishing and hunting, that's when you'll opt for PEI. However, some thought one can use it to enter Canada first and then find another later |
