The charcoal season is here. Make your call and pick yours |
Silvereze:Agric offers a lot. Other African countries such as Kenya, South Africa and nearby Ghana are reaping trillions from the agric sector. Some of us are bent on drilling the goldmine called agriculture. Your parents don't like it because our forefathers are did not make anything out of it. Technology is here to make a big difference |
Silvereze:Interesting. Life is about having passion for what we do. I study Geology for my 1st degree and Geophysics in 2nd degree. But as God would have it, I am proud to be a farmer. I trained farmers, agriculturist and agribusiness people. I keep wondering why I never study Agriculture in school. Why am I saying this? . Its either you develop interest for what you are doing or you seek for what you have interest for. Search yourself. What exactly do I enjoy doing even when there is no financial benefit. You can also look inward. Agriculture is a large value chain. Its full of opportunities. Wish you well |
boluwajokosegun:Thank you sir |

agricentral:The price is not constant. It varies from market to market. Mile 12 is different from Ilepo which is also different from Iyana Ipaja. |
securi:we are hopeful since rain is going. less people will plant. I know the price is usually high towards November, December |
securi:Price of cucumber is not stable. it fluctuates so much. You can bank on any figure |
MayorSchwags:Do you process/treat the cocopeat before using it. Please don't ask me because I don't really know much about cocopeat. though I have a colleagues that use it on his farm. I make use of normal soil + poultry waste + sawdust. 15 days is quite premature. some nursery transplanting starts by two weeks. Something must have affected the seedlings either from your cocopeat or the method by which you handle them. Your seed source too also need to be considered. I was at a shop some other time and they select kept some seeds separate because the germination rate is low. Not all seed sellers are that sincere. |
