Politics / Who's Your Teacher? by Jexyme(f): 8:46pm On Mar 02, 2023
Who's your teacher?
A teacher is often regarded as a role model who inspires and encourages you to strive for greatness, live your fullest potential, see the best in yourself, behave in a way not to cause harm or expose anyone to danger and how to cope with daring situations in life.
Your teacher to a great extend impacts on your psychological resources; those traits that do not only enable you to see (things as they are) critically, embrace and adapt to changes but also act as buffer against derailing to exhibiting characters that are capable of plunging the society into perpetual retardation and subnormality.
Seasons of election and other critical periods in the country have beyond reasonable doubts exposed the so called "Teachers", especially the religious teachers to be the people in most need of learning, unlearning and relearning than their followers or disciples.
What a hopeless situation for my dear country.
It's therefore imperative to choose your teachers wisely and select succinctly what continuously shapes your character.
At the end of the day, you must clearly answer the question: "Who's your teacher?"

Education / Re: ASUU Strike: NANS Blasts Lecturers After Agreement With FG. by Jexyme(f): 7:44am On Jan 10, 2019
"Despite the agreement between both parties, ASUU president, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, while speaking with journalist after the meeting said the strike would not be called off".

There was actually no agreement!!!

The government, via its negotiator (Ngige) sent misleading information to Nigerians, trying to vindicate government on its efforts to end the strike and our very own HUNGRY BLOGGERS and news outlets did their usual jobs of sending wrong information out there.

ASUU representative never said they reached any agreement with the FG.

This is what happens when you're under a government that thrives on FAKE NEWS but tries to tag any information that doesn't favour it as fake news.

May God help our dear country!

Education / Re: ASUU Strike: Lecturers Speak On Being Distracted By 2019 Election by Jexyme(f): 8:43am On Jan 04, 2019

ASUU leadership are definitely partisan. Any effort to undermine our electoral process is unacceptable.

It should also be stated, what ASUU is demanding is an unfulfilled commitment of the PDP. As it stands now, the Buhari's administration has made concessions on their demands. It is unfair for ASUU to go into negotiations stiff necked and refuse to find a common grounds.

Students are suffering and now ASUU is holding our Democracy hostage.

You really talk out of sheer ignorance.

It's very clear that NANS is ignorant of what's happening.
I'm even suspecting political modulation in their (NANS') activities.

Dictatorship is setting in as a form of governance in Nigeria.
If you talk against it you'll be tagged as PDP loyalist or anti-Buhari.
May God help us.

This man is a useless religious bigot and a pig-headed nincompoop.
He vomits nonsense anytime he opens his dirty mouth. With these kind of people you need not to crack your head on the reason why Nigeria is so backward in almost all things except for terrorism and other unbecoming predispositions.

May God save our kwantiri!

A lady has become a subject of mockery online after choosing a "perfect spot" to take a selfie. The lady who rocked a bra and a mini-skirt, decided to take a selfie in a graveyard and appeared un-bothered by her environment. A Facebook user posted the picture as he blasted the young lady for not having self-composure and not "respecting the dead".
