Please does anyone know anything about ethopian airlines? I found a relatively cheap cost of flight from Lagos to Edmonton for august date but i am not sure whether to book or not.

How is their services? Will i regret it?

Guys its 3:40 am now. Hubby said he felt somehow and needed to check his email. I told him to sleep. Well, he checked and showed me a PPR mail. 39 days post AOR on the dot. We asked God for 45 days max for processing before we sent our application and he did it in less than that. I couldn't help myself i started laughing and crying at the same time. Surely, there is a God somewhere. Will tell my soon. Let me continue with my worship because i can't sleep again.

So, these people did not only go to I and hubby's LinkedIn profile, they checked my our Facebook as well, checked out our wedding portfolio pics online (the one done by the photographer), checked my UK school graduation ceremony announcement that showed an online copy of the brochure showing names of graduands, online copy of church bulletin showing church dedication announcement for my son. Whew! These people checked everything. How did I know?
The links were listed right there on the GCMS notes I just received last night. Heading on the notes: Online Presence: Yes.

If you can get someone to assist, that will be good. I went to the school four times! The first three visits they said they were yet to get a mail from WES. Infact, on the third visit was when I learnt that they were waiting for hard copy not email. I went to the registrar's office again last week Tuesday and met a different person who checked and told me that my mail came in on the 8th of June and had been forwarded to Records office for processing (8th of June was before my 2nd and 3rs visit!). I went to the Records office and was told my file had been worked on. I was happy and thought that the verification will be sent before the end of last week, for wia! Anyway, I'm glad I'm done with all that.

WES just sent request for verification to Unilag today, please who knows how i can hasten it. Biko

My transcript was for a Masters degree. WES requested for verification on the 23rd of May and Unilag just sent it yesterday.

Hello @fizzle, don't take it the wrong way. We just need to be careful about the type of comments or questions we ask online to avoid unnecessary "exposure". Besides, if you wanted to sample opinions you shouldn't have asked privately first before coming on the thread, it undermines whatever response she had given you. Not nice in my own opinion.

My transcript from Unilag took almost two months to process but I believe that was because I applied during the strike. After the strike I went to the school and was directed to the person in charge of transcript for my department (there are different people). The lady was nice and promised to look out for my name as they had a lot of backlog. I got her number and followed up with her until it was sent. She didn't ask for any money and I didn't pay anyone else.

They have actually asked me for money. One say I should pay 20k. I will never do that. It's urgent because I have a timeline but I don't mind. This country is messed up. I can actually report them to servicom

Any update on your WES verification from Unilag? I was there again today and they said they still haven't seen the mail from WES. Apparently Unilag works with hard copy not email.

What else can I do since wes insist they sent it

After receiving and reviewing your documents your status will be updated to "awaiting verification". But I'm surprised they are still reviewing your documents for a week now, mine didn't last that long.

Any update on your passport application? A contact at Ikoyi passport office said they'll have the 64-page booklet by Monday. She's charging me 40k but I haven't decided yet...

Mine is hanging too! Since March 13th. They say no booklets, people dey enter dey comot with passports. Make it a ten-year expiration.. no way. Ship in more booklets as demands are highest in Lagos.. No way. Let production team have night shifts.. No way. Allow people to go elsewhere to complete their thing.. No way. Why are ordinary people better than leaders and those who run offices in Africa. Why?

I have looked at the new portal and it seems to be working fine. I clicked on the "New application/Track Status" tab and was able to simulate a transcript request until the payment point. I think she should try using a different browser. I used Google chrome.

From information I have gathered, apart from his/her PR card you also need to upload utility bill showing that the person is currently residing in Canada, and birth certificates for both of you to show the relationship.

Please my people abeg I need inputs as regards this gcms notes I just got. I do have 2 siblings in Canada and I did upload the pr card for the sibling I used. I honestly dunno what to do. Do I cancel this application and start another one? Or do I raise an LOE? Truth is I’m really confused. Here I was waiting on my Pr and now this. Honestly the matter tire me.
