Sun Newspapers (or the company which owns the brand, except where it is owned by Slok Limited) never stood trial and was never convicted, so it is wrong for EFCC to proceed against it and its property. EFCC knows this but they are being mischievous. Don't fight corruption with impunity. You lose the moral and ethical high ground.

We sent our passports out yesterday and we are expecting it between end of December and second week of January because of the holidays and I have to give a month's notice at the office for resignation. The problem now is, we plan to land in Ontario in the first week of February, I am pregnant and due for delivery in April. I was told Ontario health card takes effect after 3 months.

Please how do I manage this? Certainly we don't have the funds to pay for medical bills when the baby arrives.

Check with Alberta. Healthcare starts from day 1 I hear. You only have to be resident there for 180 days thereafter.

Finally received my GCMS. Officer said I did not provide proof of funds so ‘review required’ for eligibility. Also commented that I provided $0 out of the required proof of funds.

Used my stanbic mutual funds letter/statement and pension letter/statement, included explanation on POF in LOE, even included a table breaking everything down alongside the exchange rate.

This thing is very unpredictable because you don’t know the officer that will be in charge of your file.

Practice is the key to doing very well. I mean real, focused and consistent practice. I took close to 70 Listening tests before I wrote the exam cos I didn't want stories. I got 8.5 in Listening. So when you say practice be sure its the real deal.

Write all answers in caps, you can't go wrong with that.

Nice advice, but i want to confirm something please. Is it true that the listening practice tests on ieltsonline are somewhat tougher than the real test ( so as to prepare students). Because i used to score very high with Cambridge until i tried ieltsonline it took a while before getting a hang of it.

In my opinion yes. It can be a morale killer, try to avoid them as much as is possible.
