We are talking infrastructure as whole. Of course China need to do more - but in terms size - now - it has overtaken western world. But in terms of infrastructure per capita - they have some way to go - that is why they are aggressively building stuff.

The Road net work in the US is longer even though they have a population 3 times smaller, they also have a longer rail network.....again they have a population 3 times smaller......

Also I was talking about infrastructure in terms of quality, access and efficiency. That is what the indexes rank, NOT the sheer size and number of buildings

China in one or two year are almost trying to build the whole of Europe. Like you saw in 3 yrs China is pouring as much as cement as the US has poured in 100yrs.

Here are the real facts, 200 SA soldiers mostly parabats took on an enemy numbering 4000 minimum, they defended their base for 2 days until a Seleka commander raised a white flag and asked for a cease fire.... And since just like it wasn't the Frenchies job to protect Bangui, neither was it the job of the SANDF to protect Bangui.... All the objectives were met, they trained CAR forces and protected the president which they safely excorted out the country.... In total 13 soldiers were KIA and another 2 died later in South Africa due to there wounds.

Also just like Roan77 you can't distinguish between a none serouise d1ck measuring thread which not just means nothing but my post was in reaction to someone else talking nonsense about the SANDF....

Lastly nobody mocked the Nigerian military on this thread.... Only time such happened was in reaction to things your own countrymen said.... Just like Kabe1 with his rooivalk nonsense.

I thought you had hardware (not software) index of hardware.

Paved roads crumble if not well maintained. This not something that you do and forget about it.

LPI measures logistic infrastructure and WEF measures infrastructure among other things......if you have a source backing your claim that China has better infrastructure than the US then post it, otherwise shut the fvck up

I believe China has probably overtaken US in most infrastructure. Which index is that say it's not even close? US infrastructure is crumbling and that is why Biden want to invest a trillion dollars to fix it.

Again SA infrastructure - is not all that great. With only 30 percent paved road network - even Kenya can reach there within a decade. Maybe the rail network is harder to replicate...but others like water, sewage, broadband, electricity - are easy for any serious country to close the deficit.

Also remember if you do not replace or maintain the roads - they will crumble - every 20yrs (lifespan of a paved road) - therefore a broke south african may not be able to maintain their paved network going forward.
