'Long-time lover' means that the lady started abusing him as a child but the world would look away and allow the woman go scot-free. Reverse the scenario and you'll see everyone calling for the guy's arrest and prosecution. Pedophilia is swept under the carpet when committed by a woman but if a man is involved, everybody would bare fangs and ready to eat him raw. All the useless aproko feminist groups and their simp male supporters would not call for justice for this little boy that has suffered molestation from the woman since God-knows-when. What a useless world! |
H-I-p for the hip for the hippopo! Po Po for the hippopo! And tamus! For the hippopotamus! The a above is a popular primary school rhyme Hippopotamus is the correct spelling |
Happy birthday to you Okute Nigeria! I wish you many more successful years ahead in sound health and God's divine favour. |
Tendd:Would you say the same thing if an 18years old boy is caught in the same act? |
correctyourself:I'm sure if an 18years old guy committed the same offence you wouldn't see him as a child |
This attitude of deliberately trying to suppress Peter Obi and the Obedient Movement by the APC government would rather attract more supporters and voters to him during the 2027 election. We are watching and taking notes |
That's Igbos for you. When it comes to choosing leaders we prefer competence over tribe. This unlike the Yorubas that view everything from tribal lens and even try to use the media to cover up crimes committed by their kinsmen. |
Nice one! The Onyendu Ndigbos should also stop using elaborate royal regalias but adopt simple traditional wears. |
Rindo69:Honestly, that attitude of the police calls for serious consideration. They should stop arresting girls when a man dies from consensual sex unless there's a clear indication of murder. |
That Chikwuma sounds Ikwerre and Ikwerre people said they're not Igbos. Name checkers please take note! Don't smear the great Igbo nation for an offence committed by Ikwerre people. |
He is still a junior lawyer and cannot present cases before his seniors despite being a former lawmaker. |
Lioness5280:That individual you quoted is just a bitter soul and tribalist who is clearly on a smear campaign against the Igbo tribe. Like I said before, every tribe in Nigeria usually have their representatives and cultural leaders when they live outside their tribes. Yorubas in the southeast have their own leaders, likewise Hausas have their Sarikin Hausa even hear in Enugu Nigeria. Though I don't know the extent to which the man in question went but I'm just trying to point out to you that it is not out of place for Igbos to have Eze Ndi Igbos in other Nigerian states or outside Nigeria. Even in western countries, they have these leaders. |
Rest in peace, our dear former president Muhammadu Buhari. May God Almighty forgive your short comings as a human and grant you eternal rest. Adieu, man of integrity! |
He has to acknowledge the harm he's doing to himself first and have a strong desire to quit before any help can work. Some addicts can't quit on their own because of the pains associated with withdrawal effects and that fear of withdrawal symptoms also help to fuel the addiction. So, I'll suggest you call him to a meeting if you want to help and discuss the matter with him. Highlight the dangers and consequences of using those stuff to him. Make him understand that he's cutting short his life and that his death is very near if he fails to stop. Once you have established that he has a genuine desire to quit, then you can go ahead and contact the nearest NDLEA office to help him with rehab and management of the withdrawal symptoms. Addicts only change when they have had near-death encounters or when they have genuine desire to change. |
Lionessza6:Has there been any occasion where the South African authorities invited the Igbo representatives ( Ezes) to discuss issues relating to crimes committed by criminals who identified as Igbos and they failed to turn up? I'm very sure that all legitimate Igbo businessmen in South Africa are against the criminals. Don't forget the fact that many South Africans are also into the drugs and other criminal activities, so you have to also deal with criminals who are South Africans and try not to tag all of them Igbos in order to smear the tribe. Also, the authorities in SA should ensure to purge themselves of corruption and work hard to curb these crimes and bring the criminals to justice. If SA police and drug authorities take bribes in order to aid and abet crimes, then they should be blamed and not a whole a tribe. To answer your last question, I know that your hostilities to foreigners extend to people from other African countries. From Zimbabwe to Lesotho and Mozambique and other African countries, none is spared from your xenophobia. So, it is not only Igbos. |
Onjejeke is not an Igbo name. NCAN beware! Original content must contain at least 40 characters otherwise you won't be allowed to post your comments |
kedeojo:No right thinking Igbo person would support illicit drugs dealing nor any other kind of crime committed by an Igbo guy anywhere in the world. What we're simply saying is that South Africans should hold the criminals responsible and serve them whatever punishment they deem fit, but should spare law-abiding Nigerians living in South Africa and doing legitimate businesses. I personally would like a situation where all Igbo drug dealers and criminals anywhere in the world are caught and made to face the firing squad. I hate those people who oppress others with ill-gotten wealth! |
I'm certain he's not an Igbo person, probably from the Yoruba tribe. That's why they didn't display his face nor mention his name. If he was Igbo, they wouldn't refer to him just as "a Nigerian man", instead the caption would have been "An Igbo man caught with drugs in South Africa". That's the level tribalism has gone in Nigeria. Too bad! |
Some people in this country believe that anybody who has money or who seems to have things going for him/her is righteous and is being blessed by God for being righteous. Such people also believe that poverty and failure in anything is as a result of sinning against God or not believing in God. To such people I ask; is this lady's wealth a result of good morals and righteousness ![]() |
Lionessza6:The fact that an Igbo guy dumped you shouldn't make you this bitter about the great Igbo nation. Stop being petty! Igbos never intended to undermine the culture and traditional institutions in Ghana. Eze ndi Igbo title is ceremonial and the individual holding it is just a representative of the Igbo people in that particular place. In Nigeria, most states outside Igboland have the 'Eze Ndi Igbo' and his role is to mediate between the host community and the rest of his kinsmen in the land. This helps to foster peaceful coexistence between the hosts and the Igbos. That some Ghanaians and their South African supporters failed to understand the essence of the Eze Ndi Igbo title simply reflects their insecurity and level of ignorance. RIP to the dead lady. |
Natbrowny:Don't mind him. When their tribesman is the president, they come up with a thousand excuses and shift blames to hapless and helpless Nigerians! That's the bane of Nigeria's growth. |
This is why death rate has surged in recent times! The number of people dying these days is quite alarming. Here in the southeast, the situation seems worse. Average life expectancy has significantly dropped. Only those of us working in healthcare understand this menace. It is too bad! |
Mandate1:Honestly! The tribalism is very obvious. They want to deny him his position and transfer same to the Yoruba guy that is first runner-up. It surprised them that despite their manipulations, an Igbo guy still came top in the 2025 JAMB. It is now obvious that the initial glitch (as they called it) was a deliberate action targeting a particular set of people. Tufia! tribal hatred has really destroyed the very fabrics of this country. |
chopnaira:Can you imagine the senseless opinion shared by Reno Omokri? Since when has JAMB exam and University admission been restricted to younger individuals? Someone needs to educate this social media charlatan called Reno Omokri that even individuals in their 30s still take JAMB exams and gain admission into the university! Omokri wouldn't admit that tribal hatred is the main reason for Nigeria's underdevelopment but chose to beat around the bush with falsehood. |
Lioness5280:I think you should blame your poor security system that fail to deal with the criminals. Stop hating and attacking law-abiding Nigerians living in South Africa! |
Lioness5280:There are South Africans living and working in Nigeria without any harassment by Nigerians. Despite occasional squabbles among Nigerian tribes which are mainly political, we respect and live in peace with people of other nationalities in Nigeria. It is only when you SAns carry out your barbaric xenophobic attacks on Nigerians that some Nigerians wrangle with you mostly online. |
