No, it does not require you to apply for a new study permit. However, 1. Ensure that your new institution is a designated learning institution eligible to host international students. 2. You must inform IRCC of the change by updating your information through your IRCC online account. 3. If you change your DLI, you should not interrupt your studies, and your study permit should remain valid throughout your stay. 4. Ensure that your new study program aligns with the scope and kind of study permitted by your permission and that you continue to fulfill all requirements of your study permit, such as remaining enrolled full-time. quote author=oloyemeji post=127750561]If I want to switch my Designated Learning Institution (DLI) after arriving in Canada, do I have to apply for a new study permit?[/quote] |

You can get admission to any of the colleges. MarksmanD: I graduated with a 3rd class from school but I'm very good at web development. I want to apply to some colleges in Canada and I have chosen some schools in Ontario like Seneca, Canestoga, Durham, and Humber colleges. My question is, can I get admitted to any of these schools with my poor Uni results? |

1. you don't need to provide both, just provide any of the statements. But if you know you did POF avoid MBS 2. MBS is sent directly by your financial institution, he can download his statement of account from his mobile app or online bank and upload shinaxurdick: Thank you. 1. Pls is it compulsory to do the 2 ? 2. If is compulsory is it possible for him to send MBS by himself with his mobile app ? He is using Gtb bank. |

MBS is sent by your financial institution to IRCC think about it as an official transcript while the one you print out is uploaded/sent by you. In essence, the content of both statements should be the same. shinaxurdick: Pls guys… what’s the different between Mybankstatement and printed bank statement.
Because i will soon apply and what i told my sponsor to do is to request for his statement via his mobile app, He is using gtb bank.

1. Yes, if you made any fee payment to the institution please attach the receipt/proof of payment this amount can be deductable from the total POF 2. IRCC has its official rate, so you can look it up on their officer website. beekaf: Hello everyone please I have 2 questions
1. Can we pay school deposit alone and put the fee balance and cost of living in the PoF ,then apply for the visa
2. What is the standard rate used to calculate PoF by IRCC.
Please I will appreciate answers from anyone |

1. When applying to college, you don't need to submit NYSC certificate; you can only do that when applying for study permit, which is not mandatory 2. You need your waec/neco original certificate 3. You can attach proof of change of name should you have a different name in your passport or certificate Tiwa1020: Hello everyone,In a situation where you want to apply to a Canadian colledgr for a post graduate program with your b.sc cert. My question is:
1) Do you need to scan Your NYSC certificate along the documents to be submitted? 2)Do you have to submit your secondary school certificate for a post graduate program? 3)In a case where you have change of name on some of your documents at a point in time. Are you require to submit the affidavit paper along your documents. |

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of his father. He will need to pay the first-semester tuition fee before the request will be granted. If the study permit is valid, he can enter Canada for his studies. Again, I extend my condolences for his loss, and I wish him the best in navigating these challenging times and in his academic journey. iykedpetes: Good morning All
A friend of mine has recently lost his father. He already obtained a visa to Canada to start at Conestoga on January 8. Now, he wishes to defer his start date to September. Is it possible for him to defer, and will his visa still be valid for entry into Canada on the deferred date?" |

Many countries collaborate on data-sharing initiatives. However, you do not need to declare since SA and Canada do not share data. Blaise96: Hi everyone
Please I have a question, I learnt that canada share information between countries ( Uk USA New Zealand Canada Australia). My brother is trying to apply for student visa although he has lived in South Africa and was recently deported due to inability to renew his papers. He doesn’t wish to declare his stay in SA because it will be a red flag to his application considering it wasn’t a normal visa rejection but deportation.
Please do you think canada detect Africa countries history ? Anyone here or knows who have concealed such information and wasn’t caught.
Please your response will be appreciated |

Let her go ahead with the program; she can always change the program. If she gets approved, register for the course at Conestoga College. However, it's crucial to communicate with the college admissions office to understand the process and implications of changing programs after acceptance. Kenn55: Please guys, the person I'm trying to help got admission to conestoga college on her first choice course while her 2nd and 3rd are on waitlist. Now, after examining the issue, her chances of getting a visa is stronger on her 2nd and 3rd choices compared to the first cos it is more aligned career wise and she can build a convincing story around the 2 courses
My question now is if she declines the first choice admission she already have now, will it prompt them to give her the second or third choice admission which she now wants? Has anyone gotten admission on all 3 courses selected at Conestoga before? Thanks |

Considering that you are 31 years old, it will be difficult to convince the visa officer that your dad will sponsor you except he makes all the money available in your account and you need to work on the home ties, just the salary is small to want to compel you back home. When applying for a visa, especially if you are an adult and your parent is sponsoring you, it's important to address potential concerns that the visa officer may have. Age, financial support, and ties to your home country are all factors that could influence the decision. Ikaburuku: Please guys I need reply. Will my age affect me if my dad is sponsoring me? |

Since the visa officer claims not to see a bank statement in your documents and you believe there is a misrepresentation or misunderstanding, it's important to address this matter in a letter of explanation. You can reapply, it's crucial to maintain a respectful and constructive tone in your communication. joanna13: I requested for GCMS note and on the note the VO claimed I didn't include Bank statment. And bank statement was the first document in the bulk document uploaded in the POF section. The one he claimed he saw which is Paystud was the last.
What can I do? |

The approval or denial of each application is determined based on its merits and adherence to immigration policies. Whether to apply together or wait to apply for a family member after one's visa has been approved or upon arrival in Canada, is a personal choice. danowena: Thanks. Please: 1. Do I apply for her as I apply for mine by just putting her as someone accompanying me? 2. Do I apply first then when it is out, I apply for her? 3. Do I just wait till I get there then apply for visiting visa or study permit for her?
Thanks in advance. |
