you are the one missing the point. the gospel has reached everyone in nigeria. there's no living soul in that country who has not heard about the gospel. that issue has been overflogged already. even a domestic animal in nigeria knows the gospel with about 6 different churches on every street you turn in lagos.

That's not true, having churches everywhere doesn't make people hear the gospel. Do they enter the churches? Do you know how many people play football on Sunday morning even in lagos ?.

people actually go to these crusades to be healed/ridden of their poverty. these pastors earned their status with their ability to heal or perform jaw-dropping miracles. if it was all about preaching the gospel and analysing the scriptures, none of them will have 1,000 followers let alone fill up a 60,000 capacity stadium.

Of course , people need miracle, miracles attracts people , when they hear that signs and wonders takes place either in a church or crusade , they will go. Nothing is wrong with that. But from the ministers perspective,the greatest miracle is salvation. Healing and other things come after.  People can be attracted by the physicak things God can do for them , but when they come , we introduce them to the God of the miracle first. So nothing is wrong if they came  for that. Those who went after Jesus  had different reasons, some miracles, they said " show us a sign" some others came for food. But when they come, he points them to the word of God.

John 6:26-27
26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

You're still missing the point . The primary issue is not the miracles. The primary job is the preaching of the gospel , signs and miracles only follow the preaching as confirmation.

Mark 16:20
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Pastors holds crusades in villages in school fieilds etc. It's the same. There are different kinds of programmed. Thre is difference between crudades and church services or fellowdhip. Look at Pauls case.

So there are different kinds of meetings .

my only problem with these miracle pastors is. . . . .why don't they go to the hospitals to heal people? why does the healing only take place within the 4 walls of their churches. oyak, adeboye, ashimolowo and oyedepo are mobile. why don't they stop at kano street in ebutte-metta and heal all the blind folks there in one massive swoop.

The primary thing is not healing , but the gospel of salvation. .Jesus didn't go to the hospital either. Rather those who had been disappointed in the hospital came to him. He preached the gospel to them then heal them.

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

A christian is called to be a saint.I am a saint. That makes 2.

The logical question to ask is why can't oledepo use the services of fedex to distibute his so called missionary materials worldwide instead of buying a jet for the same purpose. We give God thanks

Well , it is a sad thing. I prayed a prayer of forgiveness for the body of christ. That God should forgive us for every manipulations done in his name. With the likes of Peter Popof and co. We don't need to help God. We should function under the level of grace he has given us and pray for more grace to do greater thing.

But that doesn't mean every faith healer does the same thing. They carefully selcted the fake ones to project a message. they should have come to africa. If you want to see Raw power of God , come to africa. The local village ministers who are casting out devils and giving prophecies didn't under go any psychological or psychic training. We can't deny the realities of miracles in the body of christ. I am a witness. Many have been wrought through me.

I intercede for ministers ,and the video make me cry for more intercession. "let the real power fall on believers all over the world" so that we can preach the gospel with demonstration of power according to the command of Jesus .

Another idea I don't agree in the video is the fact that people can be healed by suggestion. I think they acted that out. But I will make my own research on it . If people can be healed by suggestion ,we don't need pain killers again do we? Especially those who are in constant agony all through the night.

For too long I was like you, following every wind of doctrine, tossed to and fro.

I am now like the Bereans, checking all doctrine against the bible prayerfully. "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." - Acts 17:11

The last days church is plagued with false doctrine, weird spiritual manisfestations, lying wonders, false brethren, worldliness etc etc.

Only those who follow after holiness will find the truth.

Finally please provide me with a logical explanation backed by scriptures that supports the Rapture theory.

Many old testament prophets didn't see the rapture because of what is called "the law of foreshortening " in bible prophecies. Also ,many don't defrentiate between the rapture and second coming. They take the second coming as rapture. The day of christ or the day of the lord is not rapture but second coming which will end the world system.

2 Thessalonians 2:2-4
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The church is what is preventing the emergence of the Antichrist .he won't be revealed until we are out of the way by the rapture. When the rapture takes place, then he will be revealed. He is alive somewhere now.

Anything can happen . God does wipe debt supernaturally by granting a man wisdom. When you speak in tongues ,the anointing is stirred and your spirit is attuned .

In the book of Exodus, we read of how Moses saw the glory of God and he became a changed man. By being in the presence of God, listening to His Word, his visage began to radiate the glory of God, to the extent that the children of Israel could not look at the face of Moses (Exodus 34:29-35).

Today, you also can experience such glorious transformation as you contemplate or look at the glory of God in the mirror of God, which is the Word of God. The principle is “as you look, you are changed!”

It reminds me of the wonderful testimony featured sometime ago in our Atmosphere For Miracle TV programme of a certain man who was given up to die. He was stabbed terribly and the doctors had said he couldn’t live because so much had gone wrong in his body, and he had become an invalid. His wife was taking care of him until the doctors suggested that she should place him in an institution and wait for him to die. But the lady had been watching Atmosphere For Miracles. So every day, she carried her husband and placed him in front of the TV, and all the man could do was look! He couldn’t talk, think, move or recognize anything; not even his own house.

Then after several months, he began to recognize things around him; he saw the miracles on TV and he began to believe. Gradually, his reasoning returned, and also, strength, returned to his body, until he regained full consciousness, became hale and hearty, and returned to work. What happened to him was that as he looked, he was changed! As he beheld the glory of God and the power of God demonstrated in the lives of others, that same power from the Spirit and the Word of God produced healing and health in his body.

That’s what the Bible says happens as you keep looking at the glory of God – in the Word of God; hope, faith and strength comes into your spirit and you become the glory that you see. Hallelujah!

Prayer
Dear Father, I’m conscious of your glory that’s in my spirit and the transformation that’s taking place in my life even now, as your Word gains the ascendancy in me. My life is an expression of your glory, so I talk and move with wisdom, dignity, and power today, in the Name of Jesus.

Did you ever see an athlete who sprinted off the blocks in a race but then sustained muscle cramps or tired out midway into the race? So it’s not all about starting out a project, a journey or an endeavour; there must also be the determination to finish well and finish strong.

The Apostle Paul, at the twilight of his life declared with confidence,

“ . . . I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).

He was determined from the outset to accomplish that which God had called him to do, recognizing no obstacles. His determination was to glorify God by fulfilling his ministry with excellence. In Philippians 3:13, he said, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” Even though he was already doing well in his assignment, his goal was an excellent finish.

At your work place, be the one who can be depended upon to see a project through to an excellent end. Don’t be that person who always starts out but never completes them. Choose to be different. Have the determination for an excellent finish. Stick with the task at hand until it’s excellently accomplished.

It still depends on what the op refers to as salvation. Legal salvation for OT saints was not connected to Jesus perse . All they require for salvation was good works according to the law. I am not aware that Samson, Mordecai ,saw the coming christ . Their salvation depended on good works. But when Jesus went into the region of the dead after the cross, the gospel was preached to them.

The fact thqt Some of them believe in his coming didnt take the fact away that the way of salvation was not yet open. Man could not have been reconciled to God without the perfect blood as much as they desire redemption , the way to the Holiest was not yet open. its between me and sirjohn. ive not been able to download it fully for weeks . it would stop at 20% or 50%. i sent a message to sirjohn and he said instead of using a computer i should be able to stream it better on my ipad, i did and eventually was able to watch it. so he understood what im thanking him for. ipad is not as costly as laptop.

You are going into extreme. Jesus didn't send anyone into the army. But he is not against it. The army Is for defence of a people and territory . It is a service. Do you kill mosquitoes? I believe yes is your answer, but "thou shall not kill"  sayeth the lord. . If an intruder come into your house with evil intetion, wont you take every necessary step to protect your home? There are times weapons have to be used for protection and for order?
