The gospel is about prosperity. All round prosperity. And for your information ,prosperity is not about material things . It's is a state of completeness spirit soul and body .

What the church owes the world is the responsibility of the preaching of the gospel. That is what Jesus sent the church to do. There is charity work in the church also but it's primarily among it's members and not out side it is not church duty to build bus stops borehole and road construction or feeding the masses. It is the government job. The government should be held responsible for such. But if you find the church helping out one way or the other , such church should be applauded .

Judgement day still require 1,007 years after the rapture to take place. We also need to know that the rapture which is the next major event is not the same as the second coming - there is 7 years gap between the two .the rapture is not the judgement day or end of the world. They remain in heaven as we speak and if you say that they were not saved at their rapture why would God allow sinners to dwell in heaven?

They were translated by faith. Ask God when you get there . It's nor everything God revealed in the bible. God can break protocols for reasons best known to him. But that didn't mean that they got born again. Every man got born again after the blood of sacrifice was shed.

Romans 12:10
God’s love does not insist on his own right or his own way for it’s not self-seeking. In other words, it cares more for others than for self. As a child of God you must learn to put others first. Another attribute of love revealed in the opening scripture is that is not touchy. There are people who are touchy or quick-tempered; they’re so sensitive, you have to be careful the way you talk to them, lest they be offended. That’s not the way of love. Love is not easily offended.

Love is not resentful. Have no enemies. Never have people you dislike, hate, or show antipathy towards. Love doesn’t permit that. To harbour resentment is an ugly attitude that defiles a man’s spirit. Never find yourself acting like you’ve been cheated in life just because you heard of someone else’s promotion or something that’s been done to honour someone else.

Search your heart with the Word today, and be sure that the attributes of love listed in 1 Corinthians 13 form the basis with which you relate with other people. Never rejoice at the injustice suffered by others, rather, rejoice only when right and truth prevail. Refuse to be conceited, self-seeking, touchy or resentful.

Confession

The issue is not about flying to church. But the simplicity of the man . He has only one branch of church.He doesn't have multiple branches of churches to over see and visit. So he has no need of jet plane logically. And besides there is no source to the fact that he has one.

The Bible says concerning Jesus that

“…he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read” (Luke 4:16).

In other words, Jesus had a culture of regularly going to the synagogue – the designated place of worship. It was part of His personal discipline and devotion. If the Master took going to the synagogue to be an important spiritual activity, then you ought to make going to church an important priority in your life.

Going to church is more than just a weekly routine as some folks think. The Apostle Paul warned, “Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do…” (Hebrews 10:25 TLB). He expressed his displeasure at those who wouldn’t go to church and warned others not to copy their attitude. Make a personal commitment to always be in church on the days of worship. Don’t skip church services or go only when it’s convenient for you.

If you can be disciplined enough to go to work every day of the week, and not only when it’s convenient, then you ought to discipline yourself even more to be at church services, meetings and programs in your local assembly, and in time too!

If your home is so far away that you can’t make it regularly to church, then talk to your Pastor about it, and make your home available for a new church to begin. Begin to win souls in your area, and then send a message to the Pastor to send someone down to teach the people. From that little fellowship, God will cause an increase and before long, the church will grow out of there. But you would have pioneered something great for the Lord.

Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me this day the importance of going to church and being in the environment of faith, where I’m taught the Word, equipped and trained to be more effective in the work of the Kingdom. May the zeal for your house continually burn in me, causing me not only to be in church always, but also to teach others to come, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I understand your point about salvation. You are right , it was more of religious activities those days ,I don't know about now. There was no clear direction on how to be saved , you only join the church and use a bucket of water to bath with soap and native sponge but not salvation into christ.

But I believe oschoffa was called of God. But the system didn't dwell on new testament scriptures . A man may be called , but the calling will not teach you bible. You must study, if not you will not be able to discern between the voice of God and the devil in doctrines.

I saw healings and miracles done through oschoffa in the name of Jesus . But biblical doctrines were more of the old testament. And less of the new. So that became a problem.

Another Rabbit Trail. The question was were Enoch and Elijah saved? If you agree that they went to heaven are you now telling us that sinners like satan now live in heaven?

Enoch, Elijah, Adam, Moses, Abraham. Etc all got saved, born again, regenerated, recreated when Jesus died and shed his blood. All of them were dead spiritually prior to that time. Man came alive in christ.

Spiritual death came by first Adam , life came by last Adam . There is no in-between salvation.

Firstly, I rather think you do not understand the significance of this verse you quoted. When was this gospel preached? Right from the Garden of Eden.In fact; right from Genesis Chapter 1, we find the narrative of God's redemptive plan encapsulated in the 6 days of creation and the 7th day. And to live you in no doubt whatsover this is written for our benefit:There is nothing in 1 Peter 4:6 to support your fanciful assertion that:

incidentally the power of God is not promised to pastors, it is promised to every believer . In the early church every one of them had signs and wonders so long as they preach the word. Signs follow the Word. I don't know why we only attribute it to pastors. I began to experience miracles done through me right from school days . Anyone who believes and  desires the supernatural will experience it's manifestation. So long as you preach the gospel.
