To be strong in the lord is to take advsntage of grace and ability in God. There are different sides to answeres to prayers. We learn to recieve. God has granted our peitions but we must learn how to recieve,if not we may not see the answer even tnough its been granted in christ. and ofcourse our demand must be based on his will.

When Christians find themselves beset with a myriad of problems, maybe in their finances, at work, in the family or even with relatives, the natural recourse, for most, at such times would be to pray! But how do you pray about such nagging and seemingly intractable issues; especially when they are trying to rob you of your peace and joy, and make life a frustrating experience?

Actually, if you were to pray about all the challenges and problems you face on a daily basis, you’ll probably spend eternity on your knees. Knowing this, God gave us the Holy Spirit to help us pray with understanding; to teach us how to pray, and what to pray about:

That’s why he says, ‘cast all your cares upon me’ (1 Peter 5:7); He’s saying to you, “Turn your problems and challenges to me; leave them alone and focus on me!” When you focus on the Lord and allow the Spirit take control of your situation, He’ll inspire you to pray all the more effectively about your circumstances.

Refuse to worry about whatever predicament you may be facing right now; turn it over to the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to take charge for you and pray through you. He’ll inspire you to utter in prayer words that He Himself formed within your spirit! That’s when you can really pray about a nagging situation without limitations, and prevail. It’s through the Holy Spirit; He puts the right words in your mouth with which to articulately express your desire to the Father.

This fit perfectly for the natural men today, they have no law to sin against. You're right that the law was for Israel. God is not trying to make gentile adopt Jewish law. The Jewish law is extinct.

Jesus died for man. By that it means he died for the whole world ,the human race. He didn't die for Israel as a nation.

Jesus didn't die to forgive sins. He died for remission of sin. There's difference between sins and sin. Sins" has to do with conducts while sin" is a nature. Jesus death was to take the "sin " nature away. Atonement is cover or pardon , remission is to wipe away . Jesus wiped sin away. So salvation is beyond forgiveness .

Salvation is not by obeying commandments . It's by walking in the love of God. There are no commandments in the new testaments. Commandments came as results of imperfection .

The idea of the first born is in connection with the messiah . The church is first born today even without Israel .

Hebrews 12:23

He chose Israel as a nation through which his plan would come forth. Jesus was successful through his death. He had died for the whole of mankind. The nations or Gentiles have recieved light. Israel became unfaithful to God, but that hasn't stoped his planned for the world. The church is bigger than Israel. Israel used to be the ground of truth but now, the church is the pillar and ground of truth until the blindness of Israel goes away and Israel joins the church.

It's not about israel but about mankind . Israel was based on abrahamic covenant . He chose Israel as a nation as a point of contact for the nations. There was no Israel when God made the promise to Abraham. The blessing was not for israel but for the world.

Galatians 3:14
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

So it's not about israel . In Christ there's no Gentiles nor Jew.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Did you read it in other translations?

It's dealing with the vow of celibacy. some men who's daughter have vowed to remain celibate ,feel its a sin if they rventually give her away to a man . Paul was saying ,it's better to keep such virgins but if you want to still give your virging (daughter ) in marriage ,you have not sinned.

The passage is about a father dealing well with his daughter who probably had vow of celibacy . by giving her hand in marriage to a man. It's not about a young man Being Intimate..

GOD WORD TRANSLATION

No father would want to do the wrong thing when his virgin daughter is old enough to get married. If she wants to get married, he isn't sinning by letting her get married. 37 However, a father may have come to a decision about his daughter. If his decision is to keep her at home because she doesn't want to get married, that's fine. 38 So it's fine for a father to give his daughter in marriage, but the father who doesn't give his daughter in marriage does even better. 39 A married woman must remain with her husband as long as he lives. Of course I can't de y that there are two schools of thoughts over that verse. NIV translations was generous to give the two versions in the foot note.
