The bible says nothing sbout trouser. if its wrong for a woman to wear trouser then its wrong for a man to wear trouaer also because neither man nor woman wore trouser in bible days. they wore gown and skirt. jesus wore gown and skirt. |
To be strong in the lord is to take advsntage of grace and ability in God. There are different sides to answeres to prayers. We learn to recieve. God has granted our peitions but we must learn how to recieve,if not we may not see the answer even tnough its been granted in christ. and ofcourse our demand must be based on his will. |
daniel didnt accept the worship. worship and offerings belongs to God. Heathens do ascribe worship to man, but men of God usuakly reject such worship. Act 14:12-15 12 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. 13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. 14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, 15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: |
where are the critics who says he only prophesy doom and does not edify anybody? may God grace continue to abound in the church and the anointing incteasr more and more |
at one point they may be synonymous Rom 9:16 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. in another sense they are different. Grace has two sides. theres unmerited aspect. thetes is ability. So Grace can be ability. i.e the working of God, the power of God on the inside but mercy is not. [ |
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). When Christians find themselves beset with a myriad of problems, maybe in their finances, at work, in the family or even with relatives, the natural recourse, for most, at such times would be to pray! But how do you pray about such nagging and seemingly intractable issues; especially when they are trying to rob you of your peace and joy, and make life a frustrating experience? ... Actually, if you were to pray about all the challenges and problems you face on a daily basis, you’ll probably spend eternity on your knees. Knowing this, God gave us the Holy Spirit to help us pray with understanding; to teach us how to pray, and what to pray about: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26). If you carry the burden of all the problems and the challenges that life throws at you, your life will become full of worries. God doesn’t want your life to go that way; He wants you free of worries and anxieties. That’s why he says, ‘cast all your cares upon me’ (1 Peter 5:7); He’s saying to you, “Turn your problems and challenges to me; leave them alone and focus on me!” When you focus on the Lord and allow the Spirit take control of your situation, He’ll inspire you to pray all the more effectively about your circumstances. Refuse to worry about whatever predicament you may be facing right now; turn it over to the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to take charge for you and pray through you. He’ll inspire you to utter in prayer words that He Himself formed within your spirit! That’s when you can really pray about a nagging situation without limitations, and prevail. It’s through the Holy Spirit; He puts the right words in your mouth with which to articulately express your desire to the Father. Prayer Precious Lord, what a blessing to know that you love and care for me affectionately! I embrace the life of peace, rest and victory you’ve brought me into, enjoying the glorious partnership and participation of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further Study Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. |

Every sickness can be demonic. But every sickness may not be demonic. A man may have malaria and have it caused by mosquitoes yet another malaria case can be. Deadly and demonic. Which will defy medical knowledge |
For example what is " E KÚ ILÉ ? |
Fati99: lmao! you people sef, be serious joor. I like happy sitting but that's not it.Give them their recharge cards. There is no word like that in English . It's not every phrase that has interpretations. |
logicboy: But being serious, there is no spiritual death. r you could say that I am spiritually dead as an atheist because I dont believe in spirits!how much study have you made on spirits. To understand or disprove their existence. Have you ever thought of the chances of being wrong? . Supposing. . . Just supposing you're wrong. But the point I' try to get across is the fact that most human sicknesses are demonic .doctors can't find demons in a lab. . |

buzugee: see Oga Jo, first off Judaism is a religion formed by the turkish mongolian khazars who reside currently in israel. JEWRY IS A LINEAGE NOT A RELIGION. judaism, like every other religion under the sun is not off God. . . . . Judaismhttp://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/judaism.html |
buzugee: Jo i believe you are not paying attention. Jesus died only for the jews to atone ( not forgive their sins ) so God could keep working through themlet me just be clear about something buzugee. The God of the Jews was the Jews God of the whole universe. he honored everyone who called upon him. he was not only a God to the Jews only. other nations were brought into Judaism also. remember corneLuis, euthopean eunuch etc. they were called proselites. this has been on as far back as old testament times. so the God of the Jews was worshipped by nations. Jesus died for the whole world |
ondo_boi: okif for any reason Jesus didn't die on the cross, thwarting embalment the did on his body which got harden as cocoon would have killed him.imagine 3 days |
maybe they were Nairalanding. I have found myself Nairaland inside church because of guy frosbel |
logicboy: It will not. Such "miracles" will only lead people to their deaths. The woman was lucky. What about the other 75% that would die if they didnt listen to their doctors.and what about the 75% who had died in the hands of doctors because the problem was spiritual. |
this is not about Jo.stop trying to get personal and dancing around in order to evade truth. lets focus on the topic. you said Jesus only died for the Jews and I believe my previous posts have proven that theory wrong. so leave this racial merry go round. |
buzugee: COLOR OF THE REAL JEWS . LAMENTATIONS 5 VS 10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famineAdam wasn't a Jew LAMENTATIONS 4 VS 8 But now their faces are blacker than soot. No one recognizes them in the streets. Their skin sticks to their bones; it is as dry and hard as wood.Don't do cherry picking. Take it from beginning. It's metaphorical Lamentations 4:7-8 Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: 8 Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. buzugee: Oga JO GIVE IT UP. YOU HAVE BEEN SLICED AND DICED LIKE ONIONStry swallow your pills here. what you're putting together does not add up dear |
buzugee: I will lay this out step by step to show you how this will play out. i will put the scriptural verses in each stageAdam doesn't mean "brown" or "black " Adam means "mankind" the only color associated with that is "red " and not black 2- The man sins and becomes a fallen being.Correct 3- God destroys this man in the flood but leaves a few to repopulate the earth ( this is called the first death )That is not the first death. Can you prove this from scripture? 4- From the repopulation, other races of people begin to emerge. however these new races of people are not Gods firstborn. Gods firstborn continues through the line of jacob to the 12 tribes of israel. these are the original people on earth. the only people known by God ( amos 3 vs 2 ). these are the only people he wants to deal with because he deals with purity. these are the purest to the earth ( psalms 147 vs 19 and 20 ). these are the only people who have his laws and commandments. these are the only people he works throughThe idea of the first born is in connection with the messiah . The church is first born today even without Israel . Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 5- the new races of people have no laws. they are basically human-animals. they have no laws to guide. So who is the old race? and scripture says if there is no laws there is no transgression ( romans 4 vs 15 ). meaning, these new races of people even though they were as evil as can be, they were not sinning because they had no laws. the only people with the laws were the israelites and even at that the laws were not finished yet but God couldnt work through the israelites anymore because they had regressed into idolatryThis fit perfectly for the natural men today, they have no law to sin against. You're right that the law was for Israel. God is not trying to make gentile adopt Jewish law. The Jewish law is extinct. 6- so what does God do ? he has to look for a way to get the laws to these new savages and yet he cant because the people he works through are in complete spiritual darkness. so what he does is this ( leviticus 17 vs 11 )he grafts a branch out of israel and uses that branch to atone for their sins ( die for israel because at that point in time only israel was sinning.Jesus died for man. By that it means he died for the whole world ,the human race. He didn't die for Israel as a nation. like i said previously if you have no laws you are not sinning. so the savage gentiles were technically not sinning.Correct and plus he only works through israel ). the branch is jesus. so when jesus atones for their sins, the lord can continue working through them even in their spiritual death. however jesus dying for their sins did not mean they are forgiven for their sins.Jesus didn't die to forgive sins. He died for remission of sin. There's difference between sins and sin. Sins" has to do with conducts while sin" is a nature. Jesus death was to take the "sin " nature away. Atonement is cover or pardon , remission is to wipe away . Jesus wiped sin away. So salvation is beyond forgiveness . how did the lord punish them for their sins ? he elevated the savage nations to a position of rulership of the worldI don't get you here, ithe church is not political. ( romans 11 vs 11 ) ( daniel 4 vs 17 ) while relegating israel to a perpetual plunder ( jermiah 14 vs 2 ) and slavery and suffering and hellish existence. The punishment of Israel is not perpetual. They will be saved after tribulation. 7- so through jesus atoning for israel, the lord was able to work through them to make the laws ( bible) and now the bible has been passed on to every heathen nation on earth. now they have the laws and now there is no excuse for ' no law no transgressionThe law of God is not bible. His law is in our spirit , it's a nature "LOVE" he writes and shed the law of love in our hearts. Jeremiah says After those days , saith the LORD , I will put my law in their inward parts , and write it in their hearts ; Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 9- so each person, whether jew or gentile has to work out their own salvation by obeying the commands, for the whole essence of man is to obey the lords commands ( ecclesiastes 12 vs 13 )Salvation is not by obeying commandments . It's by walking in the love of God. There are no commandments in the new testaments. Commandments came as results of imperfection . |

joe4christ: I guess your shallow mind could atleast grasp this one;Very excellent response here. Jesus didn't die for Israel , he died for the world. If he had died for Israel alone, then he failed , because blindness is upon Israel till now. |
buzugee: he will save his people ( his people being israelites. he himself is from the tribe of judah ). his people are the priority. lord only works with israelites ( psalms 147 vs 19 and 20 ). he is trying to get to the whole world but he works through a people. .He chose Israel as a nation through which his plan would come forth. Jesus was successful through his death. He had died for the whole of mankind. The nations or Gentiles have recieved light. Israel became unfaithful to God, but that hasn't stoped his planned for the world. The church is bigger than Israel. Israel used to be the ground of truth but now, the church is the pillar and ground of truth until the blindness of Israel goes away and Israel joins the church. |
What has a christian gathering got to do with secular musician to start with? |
Bro emeka , Mockers will always be mockers. |
It's not about israel but about mankind . Israel was based on abrahamic covenant . He chose Israel as a nation as a point of contact for the nations. There was no Israel when God made the promise to Abraham. The blessing was not for israel but for the world. Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. So it's not about israel . In Christ there's no Gentiles nor Jew. Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. |

chukwudi44: Oga joe how father come take come inside this matter. That verse is talking about a man and his fianceeDid you read it in other translations? It's dealing with the vow of celibacy. some men who's daughter have vowed to remain celibate ,feel its a sin if they rventually give her away to a man . Paul was saying ,it's better to keep such virgins but if you want to still give your virging (daughter ) in marriage ,you have not sinned. The passage is about a father dealing well with his daughter who probably had vow of celibacy . by giving her hand in marriage to a man. It's not about a young man Being Intimate.. GOD WORD TRANSLATION 1 Corinthians 7:36-40 No father would want to do the wrong thing when his virgin daughter is old enough to get married. If she wants to get married, he isn't sinning by letting her get married. 37 However, a father may have come to a decision about his daughter. If his decision is to keep her at home because she doesn't want to get married, that's fine. 38 So it's fine for a father to give his daughter in marriage, but the father who doesn't give his daughter in marriage does even better. 39 A married woman must remain with her husband as long as he lives. If her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but only if the man is a Christian. 40 However, she will be more blessed if she stays as she is. That is my opinion, and I think that I, too, have God's Spirit. Of course I can't de y that there are two schools of thoughts over that verse. NIV translations was generous to give the two versions in the foot note. 36 If anyone thinks he is not treating his daughter properly, and if she is getting along in years, and he feels she ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. He should let her get married. 37But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind to keep the virgin unmarried–this man also does the right thing. 38So then, he who gives his virgin in marriage does right, but he who does not |
