iamoyindamola: It's pure wickedness sha I hope they relegate and Stevie G sack Lol, I don't think it's wickedness. After watching a clip on skysports where one of the presenters was saying that arsenal really underestimated their "No stance" as they don't need Arsenal's money. Aston Villa is jointly owned by 2 billionaires with them worth around $12bn so what is 25m to them. Except we go for crazy bid, which obviously we don't do, Aston Villa won't be coerced in selling one of their best players and will instead prefer to lose him for free cos money no be their problem. The thing is arsenal wasn't even interested in him from beginning. Na injury to Elneny naim cause all these things if not wetin concern dem with D.Luiz. If he was that important the way they were aggressively putting bids ystdy, arsenal would have wrapped up that position since |

Man u are really strong defensively but somehow weak upfront. I don't know how they'll be at their home(in terms of crowd ginger) cos their last two matches have been away and I can't use Liverpool to judge them. But we need to be good in midfield in order to push them backwards and capitalize on our chances if we have. Not underrating their attack tho, but if our defence can just hold out with their front three without underrating them, we can limit them.
We should try as much as possible not to concede first cos that their defence don kakaraka make I no lie.
I suspect, Midfield and attack is very very key in that game |

Or they were expecting us to bring 40-50m since other teams were paying over 70m for defenders.
This particular denial pain me sa. But it is well.
Make Lokonga just behave... Maybe Partey go recover sooner or we try Ziny in the role. Looks like he has fully recovered. Shebi dem talk say Partey dey come like next week |

mostob: This transfer window 9s absolutely rubbish. WTF was Arsenal and Arteta doing all this while? Even a 3 months old foetus can attest to the fact that we need a backup for Partey.
Ok then, why not sign a DM before releasing AMN?
Now, we're chasing Douglas Luiz. And releasing Pepe without any replacement is just a masterclass Lol, I don tell Una say na Elneny be Partey deputy since. Why we dey bid for Luiz now is because of the lengthy injury Elneny have which my take him out of the season. So I'm not even surprised on this last day desperation for Luiz by us Tbh. The one wey vex me na Saka deputy. How do we loan out Pepe just to have no cover for Saka? Hope say dem no they think say na Viera wan play wing sha. Na this one dey really pain me pass |

This transfer window, in general, is distasteful. Panic buys and average moves for exorbitant fees. Le Prof predicted this. It's getting worse. BlueRayDick: Lokonga didn’t do anything spectacular in the game worth mentioning . I can count the number of times he contested for the ball in the middle and never won any duel till at a point he did and I commended him for that on this thread . He just keeps getting shrugged off the ball in aerial duels in the middle of the park.
Thank God for the Xhaka reborn we are witnessing before our very own eyes , yesterday could’ve been disastrous if we didn’t control the midfield with Xhaka spraying passes, switching direction of play and connecting well with Martinelli on the left .
If I’m to list the top 5 performers out of the 11 on the pitch yesterday , Lokonga wouldn’t even make 6th . We had Jesus , Martinelli , Ben white , Xhaka , Saka , Gabriel , Saliba ,(In no particular order ) …. All at their A-game yesterday , yet u want apology for Lokonga keeping it simple and not losing his head amongst his peers? Nah Bro Lol... Him say Lokonga defensive aspects no matter because we dominate them |

You, Iamoyin.damola and Bluera.ydick should apologize and sing a praise song each for me. Reason:
1. I predicted correctly that Lokonga will start the match
2. And in the CM position
3. In a double pivot with Xhaka
4. And that he will do well
All of you opposed me and even termed me emotional.
I was proven right, meaning I know this club more than you at least for today.
So apologize and sing a song for me all of you Okayy, so what am I apologizing for cos I never still know?? Or are you expecting that since Arteta later started him, the trio of us will hope that he should flop so that we'll tell you "I told you so"? |

Leyqute: Intensity should be high. Higher than the Liverpool-Man Utd game.
You guys can probably maintain the intensity for longer periods because you’ve been playing like that for a while. True, esp since you guys are playing at home, I don't think Ten Haag would want to park the bus and hit on the counter. In terms of intensity, aside the old boys, most of the new guys I think will last longer since they're coming from that system. Malacia, Martinez, Casemiro. My mind tells me Antony might start |

Spy360: In a game we dominated you shouldn't expect many defensive stats but rather offensive. Assuming we were on the back foot then your analysis would make more meaning to me.
But let's disagree to agree, give him a rating over ten. Two people gave 5/10, and 7/10 respectively. What's yours ... If we're on back foot, I would look at the offensive plays then . You'll only know how good a player is when there's pressure and not When there's none. Example is Nketiah ystdy. His offensive play was great even when we were on the defensive and that helped us to relieve pressure very well, same as ESR ystdy. Well, I'll rate him 7/10. Like I said he really impressed me gaan ystdy. Everything about his attacking play was spot on. His progressive play, his ball recycling, his short and long passes, his decision making. It was really great |

Odegaard from where to where? Players dey ball for league, UCL, for their country. Go dey compare these players with one fraud because of small league form lmao. Lol, I think you're misunderstanding me sha. Trevor specifically ask " to you between Odegaard and Bruno who is more talented" and I said Odegaard. That's my opinion as you can see the bolded affirms it so, plus I even went ahead to say, "that doesn't mean Bruno isn't talented". Tbh, I no know wetin pain you for that comment wey you come dey attack my player like that. They’re more vulnerable that way and we’re even more vulnerable to their own counters.

Leyqute: The Southampton game is a litmus test of how we’ll play teams that are strong, parks the bus and hits on the counter.
That was how Brighton dealt with us if you recall.
It’s still early to form strong opinions but the foundation for dealing with such teams are there already.
If you recall, those are the teams that used to deal severally with Arsenal. Yeah, I recall. I think that's the best way to at least get points of big team for the short term at least while Ten Haag builds his team |

Leyqute: Original discussion was about who would come out on top this Sunday.
That’s where hardworking and talent came into play. And as you know, those two are influenced by the amount of pressure on your players.
Forget about CR7. I don’t want him to start on Sunday. This was the initial premise in what you said in which doc responded to Leyqute: It’s anyone’s game. Although we’ve got more talent than they do. And doc response was this afrodoc2: I am not so sure we have more talent. We probably have more experience but in terms of talent it might be more even than you think. So I'm not talking about hardwork or team play here or experience but just purely talent. And when I mean talent, I'm talking about those attributes that one player have over another. Example like Dribbling, finishing, decision making, techniques, passes etc. Example, you guys most talented attacker (to me) is Greenwood even over Rashford and martial. I've said it here before numerous times here |
