Okocha didn’t reach his true potential but still surpassed many. andrewbaba44: Anyway one is a defensive midfielder and one is an attacking , so i am not comparing them.
Who talent help? many talented players didn't fulfill their potentials thou |

There are very few players in football history that are usually marked by not 2, 3 alone but 4 or even more players at a time in a game. If only Okocha played less for fun, he would be among football’s greatest in terms of achievement as well. |

JayJay may not have played for big teams but how did he fare when he played against them? If you talking achievement Mikel wins. Talent-wise, wise, Mikel should not be mentioned where JJ dey. andrewbaba44: Everyone knows jay jay is good
Abeg Comot testimonial game for here bros
So now you want us to rate jay jay performance at the Turkish league ,when almost all of you here speak badly of the Turkish league apart from me and few others ,wonders shall never end ,suddenly you want us to look at jay jay performance there (and yes he wasn’t bad there ) you guys should try and practice what you preach
I am not comparing jay jay to Mikel as Mikel is a defensive player and jay jay is not so there are 2 different players
But I am saying jay jay didn’t achieve any meaningful thing ,some Nigerians are refusing to accept that
Jay jay never even played at the big stage obi played ,maybe he is unlucky or bad advisors according to someone here
Instead of some of you to accept ,the other guy was here speaking down of Mikel saying he is a squad player ,someone that started more than 150 epl games in 249 appearance
Make I end here |

Lol. Talking about the Olympics, Okocha’s influence wasn’t always obvious but he never played to the gallery. Else we would never have won gold. . andrewbaba44: Thank you jare
Mikel is the hero in this area
Even Kanu was the hero in okocha era |

When you say consistent, in what sense do you mean? Danielnino00: IMO, Okocha has more impact with the teams he played for than Mikel... Mikel wasn't as consistent as Okocha..
In national team colours,we clearly know who was more indispensable..
But like u said, both players are legends in their own ways... |

Which is why I said conversion rate. He made So many attempts at goal. And you are right he saw football more as fun. He really loved the game. Danielnino00: Okocha's end product isn't really as poor as some people like to make it look... He still managed to score over 100 career goals in over 500 appearances as an attacking midfielder... I believe he would have achieved much more if he was more serious on the pitch.. |

Okocha was an entertainer in an era that was not only result driven but also pro football artistry. An era that also puts emphasis on the best entertaining team. Football was more exciting in that era than now. In Nigeria, people wanted to see Okocha play just for his skills. The love for Okocha was crazy. In Mikel’s time it was more about the science of the game. Mikel did not match Okocha’s following in the national scene. Having said that, both players are legends in their own right. Kanu had a very successful club career and his heroics at the Olympics will never be forgotten. Personally I rate Okocha highest because he did what he wanted to do against any player any day anytime even when they knew his intention. He scored crazy goals although his conversion rate was average at best. He is an untouchable talent. Okocha May not have played for big teams but he always left behind unforgettable memories in every league he went. Kanu was a bundle of class. Mikel is the hero of his era. safarigirl: Guys, there's an argument going on on Twitter about Nigerian legends
The players in contention are JJOkocha, Kanu Nwankwo and Mikel Obi. Some are arguing that Mikel doesn't belong on the list, claiming JJ carried the team's he plays for and deserves better than to be named alongside Mikel.
Y'all know how I feel about Mikel, so, for the sake of neutrality, do you guys agree with this notion?

oga you are somehow.. you should just ask yourself why is there a lockdown in the first place? Is it because of the death rate or the mode at which it spreads? somehow: Mosquito kills about 321 people daily in Nigeria which is about 95000 yearly, yet no sit at home, no lock down, no media noise, but a virus that kills people with weak immune system which are mostly infants (very low ) and old people above 60 years with a fatality rate of less than 4% has locked down everywhere including Nigeria?
One person dead in 3 months plus in Nigeria from the virus, yet everywhere is locked down?
Book haram has killed more than 15,000 Nigerians, no lock down Bad road Bad hospitals Armed robberies etc have killed more people than the so called virus, yet no lock down
Lassa fever still killing Nigerians in the hundreds, no lock down Ebola killed thousands, no Lock down.
Please what makes this so called virus special that we are being made to shut down everything?
Is it because the elderly ones its attacking are mostly leaders of the world?
I need to understand what made this different! |

I have already answered your question indirectly. Give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar, and what belongs to God, to God. Didn’t the scripture say God gave the government the authority? So who pass who? . AndSunGorilla: Am not referring to a time like this, of course staying home at this time doesn't prevent true worship. The question refers to those places where freedom of worship is nonexistent. So the question again is should d underground churches in those places cease acticities in order to obey the government? |

There is a context to this. The government is there to maintain law an order. Where there is lawlessness nothing can work. Staying at home in this time cannot prevent you from worshipping. AndSunGorilla: Joe, how can we discuss this further outside this thread. Na im be say all those doing underground churches in North Korea, Pakistan and Iran should stop doing their secret church activities and fully obey the governments. |

The Egyptians were black for the most part. Christianity started with the Jews that accepted Christ. Paul took it to most of the non-Jews. Magic, ancestral worship etc has always been around. It’s inevitable that the Bible has circulated in almost uncountable numbers in numerous languages. With our god of iron etc we could not conquer countries so what do u expect? Continue to complain? Whose fault is it? andrewbaba44: What do Nigerians know about religion ?
No be the religion wey our papa and mama train us with we Dey follow ?
Is there even a black man in the Bible ?
