Yes both parents even for the biracial ones. I happen to have a nephew who is talented in several sports. His mom who is Russian wants him to experience his Nigerian heritage so badly. I’ve promised her I will take him to Nigeria. His father (my bro) doesn’t give a damn about Nigeria one bit. My cultural identity is entirely Nigerian but l can be multi faceted. When I'm with oyibo you would think i am a lost son. Often l hear Nigerian talking about me thinkibg l dont understand what they are saying sometimes derogatory. That's very amusing when l then speak Ibo or Yoruba to them.

There are Nigerians who were born and bred in Nigeria predominantly the women. Some from small towns and villages.

On arrival they become more oyibo than the Oyibos denying all things Nigerian within a few weeks in the UK. Are they not Nigerian born and bred ❓

Corruption was endemic and rife l challenged it at great cost. In the end all the accounting staff were sacked apart from myself and the Chief accountant who in the middle of the night slaughtered a goat in satanic ritual. I left not long after that back to England, l could see that integrity and honesty were no longer attributes of commendation in Nigeria.

On this thread there is in depth resentment to diaspora Nigerians and or so called Foreign born Nigerians. But why l am at loss.

Meanwhile look at how our people take every insult under the sun, denigration and abuse to get a visa to leave the country. It's incomprehensible we show so much displeasure about foreign born Nigerians yet we want to get there.

A Nigerian owned TransGlobim International won a £500 million contract to build a railway line in Iraq. But couldn't even get off first Base in his own country. Even to get an MOU was like almost impossible with all kinds of delays and unnecessary bureaucracy.

We reject honesty and truth but welcome corruption, nepotism, illegality and government impunity. I watched how my former Governor after leaving prison was welcomed by the entire political elite at the highest levels.

The truth is you will always find people who will discuss about Tammy as if he is a potential SE player. Even after he is capped by England they will still continue talking about what would have been. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it. People are people.

If we must discuss Tammy, we can discuss him the same way we discuss Ronaldo and co, as international players. He is not a Super Eagles player, so, we are discussing him in the context of an international player.

Like I said, he is Nigerian in his father's house, on the pitch, he is English. The sooner some people stop forcing us to discuss Tammy as if he is a Super Eagles player, the better for us. His growth, stagnation or whatever will not affect the Nigerian team, will it?

I don't know where forgiveness brought up talk about eligibility and citizenship. My point was clear as day, but can easily be misconstrued by the usual persons.

Even the discussions about Ronaldo and Messi can be tiring in its self. The priority on this thread is Super Eagles players, everyone else is an after-thought, including Tammy.

For me SE players come first, SE hopefuls, other Nigerians, in that order. The new dawn of players will contain a mix of these.

We are not here to discuss his citizenship. This thread is for Super Eagles players, as you can probably read, not for Nigerian players. So, when we discuss anybody here, we are discussing those that are eligible to play for Nigeria (and want to play) or already play for Nigeria.
