TheSuperNerd: The Madagascans are only disciplined defensively but their style can fetch them enough yellow cards and a red.
They always have three or four players around Mikel, Kalu or Etebo. They close us down very quickly but they are go rough when they are beaten and left for dead. Nigeria's inter plays have been decent but we need one or two players who can open up this Rigid and annoyingly Mourinho-inspired Park Bus system employed by the bareas.
A Chukwueze won't be a bad idea. And an Iwobi could provide the killer magic to unlock defences like these. Lastly, Ighalo should stop being a sisi and stay on his feet. He went down too early seeking a penalty after getting a fine pass into the box from Musa. He should be braver and stop seeking easy calls.
Musa also should be able to shoot on sight. That chance he had should be in the back of the net for 1-1 had he been a little more sharper and not try to dribble the keeper.
Nigeria will Triumph 2-1 or draw this game eventually but only if we make the right changes and break the Madagascan Wall of ParkBus.
Honestly, if not for that blunder by A Sleepy Balogun, we should be edging this 2-0 with Madagascar chasing the game all day only using their backwards passing and rush-to-the-final third plays... Plus counter attacks to keep the scoreline low.
Apart from the Balogun blunder, we have been the better team and we should be!!
But the HT scoreline says Madagascar leads. That is football. Be assertive and take your chances. |

thank you.. i hate sentiments. Earthquake3: The error leading to the goal is as much of Ogu as it is for Balogun

That's the point. And this have been obvious from the start of the tournament, but i've been largely forgiving hoping they improve. We do lots of passes, so we should be carving out chances after chances with all that possession comodo: Creativity in the final third is missing. Why they press individually is what I don't understand. |

Balogun should have reacted quickly it's not like he didn't know an opponent was on him. That is a dangerous position to play like that. DrKlever: Balogun shouldn't be ball watching we know but no one is blaming Ogu for that silly back pass to Balogun. The guy is an idiot! |

Kalu is good. But I think generally we rely more on individuality. We need to work more as a team and reduce unnecessary runs, holding of the ball and dribbles. One player can do that, but Kalu, Musa, Etebo, Mikel etc are all trying to hold on to the ball and dribble. Truidstar: We need games like this to weed out the chaff. Mikel no be am, Kalu is a shadow of himself, ighalo back to type. Writing Onyekuru and Osimhen do Rohr? |

I've seen fouls blown against him. A few have been legit. His physical game should have given us some advantage in this game but the ref has not been really good. Ighalo is pressing well. Earthquake3: Ighalo is as erratic as anything |

How we fight back in this game will determine a lot.. I've been patient to make my verdict on this team. I think we do lots of passes without any real initiative to carve out defenses. |

one thing for sure is I will never defend the man. We have so many cases of Priests and senior men in Christ abusing boys etc. Never put anything past anyone. Time will tell Tonnierichy: For me, I believe this story. A woman of her status cannot make a rape story up. She has a lot to lose. I think the most painful thing is not the rape. I think what made her come out now is the fact that this guy is just going about his ministry like nothing happened. It hurts that way. Seeing people still following him and calling him a man of God must really be breaking her heart.
Modified* All those miscreants trying so hard to defend this man and all those asking her to go to court are potential rapists. You are same as him. Dogs in human skin |

IF the pastor raped her, trust me, he also raped others. This issue will die a natural death unless there are other incidences involving other women. Sirevansgen: How can this happen?... After 20years and she married.... How will the trace the rape case... Who is a witness... Bring the Pastor more into spotlight.. Only a baby of with no mature brain will believe this . |

it's not exclusively a Nigerian problem. People have the freedom to express what they think as fact. But the protest thing weak me. There are many pressing Nigerian issues Nigerians don't protest about... I won't be surprised that those protesting are religious people belonging to other denominations. Those in his denomination will cling tight to him no matter what. The lady should sue him to court. I don't put it past the pastor though.. but, it has to be proven before we can make a conclusion. I also heard that another lady accused the same pastor and she said she has the proof. I don't know how true though. Jayslicky: The one thing about Nigerians is we don't usually use intelligence in dealing with situations, instead we start to bring sentiments into it.
If busola dakolo feels that she should sue the pastor, she should do so, it is not by talking on social media or interviews.
I expect both the people that are saying the pastor is not guilty and the pastor is guilty to shut up and stay neutral to this case, there is a reason we have courts in Nigeria, it is not to rant on social media and go back to our ways of life. |

They want a footie rivalry with us, but they aint got what it takes. I can take a Ghanaian, Ivorian, Egyptian et al who can give us a regale of points to debate on, but, SA? Maybe I am being chesty like they always make of us, that makes them feel we show unwarranted important of over bearing pride, but, guy I maintain standards, SA, I reiterate aint in that class FOOTBALLICALLY, to argue with me as a Nigerian, maybe, politically. |
