Haha But seriously, why can’t we have a third powerful ticket. I’m mulling over a Sanusi/Duke ticket. It’s only a fantasy though. safarigirl: Buhari cannot outrig the likes of Saraki, Wike and Co..... Those are the machines that helped him defeat PDP in 2015
The race will be tight sha.... May the best rigger win |

All things being equal (rigging inclusive) safarigirl: these people are inconsequential. Even when OBJ contested for President in his second term, he did not have the support of SW
The only thing that has remained constant in the SW is that they never really give a majority to the PDP. Aside 2011, it's usually a tight race in the SW..... But I expect the MB to give the deciding votes come 2019. |

Well said. Shehu can easily slot in to partner Ndidi. Ogu is not a bad option either. There is no cause for alarm. mazimee: Ogu is still there, Etebo will start . Shehu is a Midfielder, and plays same for his club.
If Rohr get sense, he should start Aina. |

We are both HOPING for the same. Icon79: I definitely hope not! I mean, after the stinker he had in Russia, I will really pick issues with Rohr if Idowu starts ahead of Aina (or Collins) this time. Hopefully, playing in Serie A has helped Aina to improve because he didn't really show us anything before the World Cup.

If we have to use one standard consistently, I will fault many especially considering that “two passport” Nigerian players are fully Nigerians as “one passport” Nigerian players. COOL10: . Okay it’s the 2nd time I’ve seen this. So it has to be true. We know where bad PR talk as regards ‘Abrahams’ land us. Make we dey siddon look. tbaba1234: It was from an interview on the club website that he confirmed his desire to play for Nigeria at senior level.
It is not good PR for him to be talking about representing another country when he just got his first England call up. I am sure his reps appealed to the club to pull it down. |

Anichebe could not do what Olanare did in the Chinese 2nd tier . Also take note Ighalo’s barren run started in the EPL and extended to China. Why did he not start firing all cylinders immediately he moved to China? Modified Olanare played in the Super League season 2014/2015. The quality has improved since then though tbaba1234: Olanare had a good goal record in China (15 goals in about 34 games) but he could not replicate the same in Europe. Anichebe did not play many games and he was never prolific to start with.
Ighalo has one good season in the top flight. He went to China on the back on an almighty barren run. |

The competition is not stiff in this SE. that’s my main criticism of Rohr. Make these players feel like there is always that player about to snatch their shirt. edi287: I repeat, if(when) Ebere Eze moves to a epl club - he is gone. Southgate will cap him before we can blink. This same Southgate capped Solanke who had little to no game time...what makes you think he'll wait for Nigeria to call Eze? This was a very well calculated move from England. Rohr fanboys will look for all the excuses in the world to justify this buffoonery. I don't think that guy learnt anything from the world cup. He's already back to playing Ndidi - Onazi as a pivot. I tire for that guy. |

Na true.. like say KC never play for Naija and na “two passport”, he would not only have been better than Mbappe but BY FAR Icon4s: See me clapping.
Asking for players to be thrown away without replacement. Lol.
Just yesterday charlsemeka was saying also that we should do away with likes of Ogu, Onazi, Mikel and Joel. Ok, name replacements asides Eze he was mentioning Billings and Ejaria. Players that don't even have Nigerian passports yet.
I particularly like those 3 words u used NEW, UNTESTED and UNPROVEN. Those are the kind of players that are always the best players for them. Nigerian fans will not cease to amaze. They will not learn. That is why every World Cup we keep producing the youngest team with an inexperience tag, calling them a team for the future. Only to throw them out again looking for another group of "young, Hungary fresh bloods".
I am whole-heartedly with Rohr on his players selection. The only player I wished he had included was Ebere Eze. Team building is a gradual process. Massively throwing away old players and flooding the team with new players will only cause more harm to the team.
Safari like a quote you made recently " there is no best player anywhere ". This same Iheanacho they are attacking if he was not playing for the Super Eagles yet and is posting this same kind of performance at Leicester City we for no hear word here. They would have hyped him to high heavens and even threaten to kill Rohr if he doesn't Cap him. |

Rohr has even said he does it together with his assistants — one of which is serving a one-year ban komekn: Agreed
And some of us actually think that Rohr is making his team selection entirely on his own. That's being Delusional. |

That’s how Olanare was painting China with goals abi? Or Anichebe who could not even shoot a handgun in the Chinese 2nd tier. I promise you many of our strikers won’t score as much as Ighalo has in China, though they could come better in the GWG. Was his exploits in England a fluke? Some players don’t just translate their club form to the national team. Ighalo seems to be one of them tbaba1234: Spot on..
This is why i can not put too much stock in the number of goals Ighalo scores in China. |
