The Tinubu project is a national agenda and never a south west only Agenda. He has been a committed party member. He has supported. People in the past, mentored people to seek offices across the country, worked for them. A vacancy is existing in Aso Rock and those people he assisted over the years across the country felt they should support him. Every zones offering support would contribute their quota and not necessarily the south west traditional rulers. Well, Ironsi never introduced unitary system and he never tampered with the resource control of the 4 Regions throughout the 6 months he was in power. It was Gowon that came after Ironsi and used decree 14 to abolish all 4 Regions, created 12 states to replace them, then followed it up with decree 15 that abolished resource control

What makes me laugh however is that when Gowon was implementing this unitary rule, Ojukwu and the East rose up, declared Biafra and fought to resist it


What did the rest of Nigeria do? They followed the North to fight Ojukwu so as to make sure that Gowon implemented the unitary rule that would keep Nigeria under Northern domination

1. He ran the most secured state in Nigeria during his tenure. Former IGP Abubarkar gave him 5 years accollades of the most secured state back to back for 5 years.

2. The minister of works then gave him the best accolade of a governor that built 800km of road network in 8years over 230 roads

3. Educationally , He met Anambra at 26th position in 2006 and left it at 1st by 2014 when he was leaving.

4. He was the only governor that met the millennium development goal in Nigeria in both education and health. In fact , Milinda and bill gate foundation gave him a personal gift of 1 million dollar for his achievement. Which he dropped in the state account rather than putting in his own private account.

5. He is the only former governor today that does not collect pension, gratuity, land gift and allowances since he left the govt in 2014.

6. When he became SEC chairman under President Jonathan, he told SEC to hold back all his allowance and entitlement as a Board chairman . He left without nothing. He said he does not need them.

7. When he was chairman of fidelity bank , he was entitled to two brand new cars annually. He told the board. I don't need them. Let me just come for meetings and go home.

The Special Adviser Media and Publicity to President Muhammdu Buhari, Femi Adesina has revealed how he has been surviving admist scarcity of new naira notes in the country.

Adesina who in his article titled: “Living on shoestring budget”, published on Thursday noted that he has been spending the sum of twenty thousand naira, (N20,000) for one week.

He advised Nigerians who attack banks, loot shops, and engage in civil disobedience to desist forthwith.

Adesina told Nigerians not to take laws into their hands, noting that with time naira will be surplus in the country.
