Lol, when this same Farook Kperoogi was hitting hard on Gej, you guys cheered him on. Now the tables have turned and you are writing epistles. Next time you write or quote someone, put the authors name. So we can compare them with the person you are replying. |
While watching the burial ceremony of Sam Loco Efe on TV, I caught something the minister said. He said, “Sam Loco has died, and he will be remembered for what he has done, how would you be remembered?” Every time I see a video of Sam Loco Efe or see someone trying to mimic him, I remember these words. “What would you be remembered for?” I wrote an article on "leaving behind a legacy". Unlike the general misconception that only good people leave legacies. The truth is, we will all leave a legacy whether good or bad. What comes to your mind when you hear the name Gani Fawehinmi? Compare that to your first thought when someone talks about Abacha. Every word you speak, all of your actions will be remembered by those around you, when you are no more. People will talk about you now and even when you are dead. People will be asked about how you lived, don’t make them lie… Even in this political season, watch what you say and how you act. Don’t make enemies or rubbish yourself in the course of supporting anyone. Gracias.
|
People are fleeing their homes, yet Buhari and his minions say they have defeated Bokoharam. If you don't feel anything for these people and vote for this clueless government. The grace covering you will expire the day you thumbprint for them. Your community will be next, so you can have a first hand taste of what they are passing through.

PassingShot:Didnt you read that they were denied the use of the stadium by the governor? Reaaaad..... |
The practice of using money to get outside support to create the illusion of grassroots enthusiasm is a common practice in the Nigerian Political sector. What most don’t know however is that there are firms whose job is to recruit people for political rallies. These firms are quite secretive and work mostly based on recommendations. They have contacts in the local communities, amongst youths and women groups who recruit people for them in confidence. This is not just limited to Nigeria; the trend is spreading across the world and was evident in the last US presidential election. Here are a few ways to identify a hired political crowd. 1. They wear political T-shirts with the inscription of the candidate – I have attended several political gatherings, and I know that they don’t distribute T-shirts and caps at the gate. Hence, anyone who wears any political insignia had prior contact with the politicians and their party. Realizing this exposes their tactics, politicians now distribute caps instead of T-shirts for their rallies. 2. When you hardly find females amongst the crowd This is the easiest way to know if they were hired or not. Look through the photo and check if you will see ladies (Women and girls) amongst the crowd. Getting guys in the streets, joints or schools is an easy feat. Just bring a bus and they will fill it up. (My friends in my undergraduate days did this several times). This can't happen with ladies. Even runs girls won't enter such a bus. That's why you will see that most campaigns arenas are filled with guys. Did you notice our protesters are mostly guys? Sadly most guys don't come out to vote. Females are the highest voters. On the election day, they will either be playing or discussing girls. During the last presidential election, most of my neighbours didn't vote; they were outside analysing the election, while voting was ongoing. Their Wives and daughters voted. 3. People with placards No right thinking person brings a banner to a stadium. Would you write out a placard when going for a campaign? Most banners displayed in political rallies are organised by the rally coordinators and handed to the paid actors. You just have to scream and show emotion. Next time you are watching a political rally, take a closer look at those waving placards and banners, there is a greater chance they are paid, actors. 4. The same pattern of behaviour In every political gathering, there are your supporters, few of your opposition who came to watch and then those who are undecided. In a case where 100% of the people in the crowd are dancing, then something is fishy. Not everyone likes to dance or shout violently, so if you notice everyone acting in the same manner, then there is something motivating them. What do you think? Do you agree that Nigerian politicians hire crowds?

Maritime University is Buhari's achievements? Lol, the same Maritime University that Amaechi stopped after been appointed minister? The same Maritime University that made you guys declare Tompolo wanted? And even 2nd Niger bridge thats at 0.5 completion. Haba.. |
frankyskyboi:Use a transport company that has a park in Iyanakpaja, Lagos. Ask them before boarding "if they willl get to Iyanakpaja". It would save you a lot of stress. As you would only need to take 100 or 150 naira bus directly to Sango Ota. That's the simplest way to go about it. |
Firstly, there is no deplomatic relationship between the US and Nigeria that gives immunity to members of the HOA. A serving governor was arrested and persecuted, even when he had immunity here in Nigeria. Atiku was invited by the US house of commerce, below is a photo from the event. Look through all the photos between them. Atiku was always center stage of every discussions. He must be a powerful aid.

I don't know what to say about these BMC group, but its obvious ya all are frustrated. Just a few weeks back, you told is that Atiku is broke. Now he's splashing money. Imaginary 12 million farmers. Same way a non existent group bought presidential form for Bubu. Lifeless Liars. |
Mr. President, the problem with your anti-corruption war is not the system. You are the problem! 1. The system allows you to arrest, try and convict your former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, who was fingered in a major corruption case, but you chose to let him go Scot free and you demonstrated your tolerance for his corruption by giving him a prominent role in your re-election campaign and recently welcoming him to the Presidential Villa with open arms. 2. The system allowed you to arrest, try and convict Abdulrasheed Maina, the biggest ever alleged thief in our civil service history, who is suspected of looting the pensions of millions of aged Nigerians. Yet you chose not to go that route, preferring instead to recall him, reinstate and double promote him while giving him armed guards to move about. 3. The system allows you to probe the $25 billion NNPC contracts awarded without due process, but you chose to bury the matter under the carpet, hoping the Nigerian people will forget about that grand scale alleged looting exposed by a leaked memo from a member of your cabinet. 4. nothing in the system stops you from telling Nigerians who owns the billions found in an Ikoyi apartment. 5. The system did not stop the EFCC from charging the opposition Governor of Akwa-Ibom, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, as a co-accused in the case involving the NBA Chairman, Mr Paul Usoro (SAN). Contrast this with the treatment meted out to Governor Umar Ganduje of the ruling All Progressive Congress. Only to name a few. Blame game gone wrong.
|
He won't be booed, Akwa-ibom don't play that kind of politics. and people will come out to see him since its a holiday period and Uniuyo and Aksu are on strike. His audience would however be mostly be guys, who are either recruited or in need of somewhere to go. He will be mistaken, thinking he would get up to 25% in AKS. |
amaechi1:Get yourself updated. This policy was proposed by Ngozi Okonjo Iweala late 2014, but couldn't be implemented. the question is, why did the government wait tilll now? |
