Word! The truth is that our ppl at times should know where to draw the line. This is strictly a "line in the sand" for these boko phockers from the yoruba nation. I would have expected igbos to use whatever mouthpiece we choose to also send a message to boko haram, not mock those who are standing up for their ppl.
Chest-beating by the commenters. I would get tribalistic but I'll hold my tongue. But for the yorubas, now do you really think your OPC wont lose have its members if they try to attack Igbos in lagos not to talk of if they go in alliance with hausas? If you think yes, obviously you don't live in lagos or have been there. I laugh at your chest-beating. You are a joke. Should I reposed a story that was removed by the Mod of what happened when 1 of your OPC agberos killed an Igbo guy? The outcome wasn't too nice for them grin. Una got too much mouth. The Igbos are not your enemies and do not hate you people no need to start something that will consume you for nothing. To my Igbo brothers, those of you people living in lagos or anywhere in the yoruba-speaking parts of the sw should shut your damn mouths. The OPC is a source of security for you when it comes to the bokos, even though i have no idea how attacking hausas,is going to stop invisible bombs lol. Are you going to go back to east and ask MASSOB for security, lol? Get real. All they can do is shout their Biafra nonsense, get fried by the army and police, then another group comes out and do the same thing. To sum it up, yorubas, get off Igbo nuts and Igbos, mind your damn business this is between the bokos and yorubas.
Bless you

Tisa: From the posts here you know that nigeria is never a country, it has never been n never will be a nation. Look @ these young guys turning a serious statement like this to avenue to disrespect each others tribe. Its so pathetic. In stead of us all to be united against BH and their sponsors we are here dis respecting ourselves.

I can categorically say that most of the people that post on NL abusing others are kids, probably under 18years and I know someone will prove me right by responding to this post with abuses. Probably seun shd create another site where matured people can exchange view regardless of tribe.

War is a terrible thing, don't ever pray for it. I am a yoruba man but while in d university in d 90's I deemed it fit to ask my ibo elders about the civil war, wht they told me I can never wish on my enemy. Guys drop ur differences and tribal views n let's unite against the people killing our innocent brodas n sisters.

God bless u all.

Wow what a load of arrant monkey dung! I guess this motor park network news bulletin was designed to appeal to the weak in character like yourself. Abi mr. 1000 ids
I noticed every time ibos are asked to leave the north and head back to their hometowns, they leave the north for Lagos, and Ibadan. Only few of them return to the East.

It's funny how these people hate yoruba so much but they continue to force themselves and move to our land in millions, yet we don't move to theirs.

pls, when you leave the north, go to ibo land. Yoruba and Yoruba land is overcrowded. cheesy
You mean you have ventured outside of yorubaland and you're still reasoning like this? Na lie you never attended FGC Enugu. There are hundreds of yorubas in that school who have absolutely no problem so quit throwing stones at what u know nada before I expose you

lagcity: You are just pathetic. Why would any sane man buy land in Owerri or Enugu? Are you out of your FVCKING mindhuh?!!! grin grin grin I spent one semester in F.G.C Enugu b4 my Father came to get me. Land of Cannibals.

Please you sound like a decent fellow, don't let Alj Harem's wayo infect you. Check his older posts and you'll see he is the architect of 80% of the igbo - yoruba beef on this site over the past two years I've been visiting this site. If you have the energy, go back and read old nairaland posts from years back and you'll see who started the name calling. now you have people joining the fray to defend their tribes and new members who don't know the origin will just assume and defend their own

Paul John: My bro you have spoken my mind. I can remember very well the like of 'shymmex' who preached against tribalism when he got to NL 3-4 months ago. But now you can't mention top six tribalist on NL without shymmex on the list, it's a pity. I'm sure the dislike for Igbo here on NL is really not in real life, but I don't know of the vice versa in the East.
I hope tribalist her on NL would be cautious with what they post, because it changes the mind set of younger generation who has never thought of anything of tribalism. I had the same problem at first when I joined NL: I have a very close friend from Imo whom we stay together here in LAG. Suddenly, I started getting cautious with the way I relates with him just because of the right ups here on NL, but was later able to suppress that urge.
I just wish we can all get our head straighten up and do away with all these tribalism thing. The earlier we(Alj harem u inclusive) realise no tribe is a saint the better.

Can't stand his support for GEJ but I'm sure he's not reno omokri. Omokri is a lawyer but beaf is an Information Technology person

onomeasike: Be Evil And Famous

His name is Reno Omokri.
He is the Nigerian presidential adviser on social media, nairaland, twitter et al
He is also PointB,BlackPikkin
He relishes the evil alias as against his real name in order to protect his identity and family name OMOKRI
If you want to curse his generation, direct it/them to the generation of Reno Omokri.
That he defends the ungodly conduct of his principals like GEJ
He is evil, call him Reno Omokri

Politics › Re: Christian Youths Kill Muslims In Reprisal Attacks At Gonin Gora, Kaduna by joeyfire(m): 10:54pm On Jun 17, 2012
You are an illiterate motor park lout from a lowly background. Look here u little f00l.

The first wave of fundamentalism began with the “Muslim Brothers”, led by Sheikh Ibraheem El Zakzaky. Fired by the success of the Iranian people, many joined his group in his struggle for an Islamic state in Nigeria to be constructed on the ashes of the existing state, which was built on ignorance or jahiliya (a term used in reference to pre-Islamic Arab-society).

Although the Muslim Brothers started as a Sunni group, the close association with Iran and the fact that several of their members were given scholarship by Iran’s government to study at the city of Qam, led inevitably to their infiltration by Shiite doctrine. The leader, El-Zakzaky, was himself soon to be seen as a Shitte, a fact that led to rebellion and fragmentation in the movement. A splinter group was formed, led by some of Zakzaky’s most loyal members. This group, however, maintained that its disagreement with Zakzaky was purely doctrinal in that they rejected Shiite theology. They, however, claimed to remain committed to the revolutionary process of Islamisation being undertaken by the Muslim Brothers, while sticking to
Sunni orthodoxy.
oponu ayi rada. Iran is 99.99% shiite. The containers containing bombs and ammunitions might have been ordered by anyone. The funding for boko haram comes directly from the Saudis, Iran has nothing to do with boko haram. Iran is fighting its own proxy war against Sunnis in Syria.

Sango punish your father omo ale. Why are there so many olodos in Nigeria? What does Iran have to with terrorism, when all the terrorist islam sects in the world are sunnis?

May ogun break your empty brain numbskull.
Politics › Re: Christian Youths Kill Muslims In Reprisal Attacks At Gonin Gora, Kaduna by joeyfire(m): 10:13pm On Jun 17, 2012
Keep your shorts on pal. Have u noticed how nigerians in recent years have started adopting iranian style clothing?, the ammunition and explosives intercepted about two years ago from iran did they have shiite printed on the crates? do you know the extent of iranian style theocratic dogma that has been bombarding this country since 1979? If u don't know let me know so I can post a couple of links for you.

Iran has inspired fundamentalism in west africa in ways that cut across sunni or shiite divides
Ode!! Iran started shiite muslim, and the sect responsible for boko haram is SUNNI, mumu..

When did shiite and sunni start mixing?
Politics › Re: Christian Youths Kill Muslims In Reprisal Attacks At Gonin Gora, Kaduna by joeyfire(m): 9:56pm On Jun 17, 2012
Are you kidding? Iran started this campaign in west africa and nigeria in particular in the early 1980's. Saudi Arabia helped with plenty of cash to set up islamic schools to help spread fundamentalist ideology. They tried their best to spread it to the south west but it didn't work despite the sizeable population of muslims in the region
Ode. When did Iran start backing sunni muslims? Your answer lies between Saudi Arabia and USA mumu.
Politics › Re: Are You From Anambra State? by joeyfire(m): 11:30pm On Jun 11, 2012
I have very little to say about Peter Obi and his administration except that job creationin sustainable sectors is 0%, strategic vision and planning is 0%, investments in human capacity building (how much did he invest in education?) 0%, security nko 0%. Anambra state deserves better than this. Na condition make south east adopt omata levels to survive. While the likes of chime and rochas (as far as I can see) show glimpses of far reaching impact, I honestly can't see anything to praise peter obi about.

All things being equal, Major Al-Mustapha who was sentenced to death recently by the Lagos High Court may receive a presidential pardon. Recall he was found guilty in connection with the murder of Kudirat Abiola.

It is reported that the directive is not unconnected to the pressure being applied by "concerned Nigerians" including traditional rulers, arewa consultative forum and the oodua peoples congress.

If you ask me GEJ is looking for votes come 2015 as well as Mustapha's unrivalled expertise in counter terrorism.

Rubbish on top of rubbish. This is just victor umeh faffing around as usual. There's beef between him and the peter obi faction, so I guess this statement is designed to isolate them. As for the party belonging to the north it could be that umeh has sold out now that ikemba has passed on. Peter obi and co are pro-GEJ while Umeh and the rest are flirting with the northern elite
