adamsrib: I'm not a internet novice so not a lot surprises me on the internet. However NL has an almost demonic force against women. It's actually scary that people not only have these thoughts but they take the time to write about it on a message board. Why this type of thing is allowed baffles me. Almost every thread turns into a fight. Is this what Nigeria is about? I'm moving to Nigeria later this year to get married and I hope and pray that most people do not hold the beliefs presented here. If they do, God help me. Well I don't know where you have been, but if you are black and originally a Nigerian, you should be aware that women are just there to be used and they actually feel happier when they are properly trained and please their men. |

Why Can't We keep Women As Pets?
Guys, don't you get tired of the hassle and agro you get in relationships?
A few guys have come up with the perfect solution. Imagine this:
You have a women/girl who:
1. Only speaks when she is spoken to. 2. Is available for sex 24/7. 3. Has devoted her life to pleasing you. 4. when you are not in the mood for her or don't want to see her you put her away somewhere. 5. Does not make any demands of you of any sort.
All you need is a small cage (or cages if you want more than one). They don't take up much space and are cheap. If you have enough space, you can get the kind of houses they use for dogs.
Guys what do you think, should we not all have at least one of these? |

i dont get why he would have a religious discussion with you and then immediately acknowledge he was trying to cheat you. Sounds contradictory though i'm not saying it's not possible.
i just think if he knew what he was doing was wrong, then he would have left out religion and just got down to business.
but never say never sha.
He did not acknowledge that he was trying to cheat me, it is just that the option/solution that they were proposing amounted to that.
Aside from this, does anyone need to tell you that most if not all the so called "born again" people in naija are fake? They were fake before they became born again and the are still the same. It is just the words that come out of their mouths that has changed, nothing else. |

Good for them.
We should ban all the illitrates from NL as well.
How do we know them? They are all the supporters of Atiku and the criminal coup plotter Buhari. |

This is an irrelevant thread. We already have a president and I don't see the need for another.
Our president is going to be there for another 8 years. So maybe you should have waited till 2019 to start this thread. |

harakiri: @poster. . . I get you. Don't be swayed by all these holier than thou posters telling "success stories" of how they saved the chicken from crossing the road. They are all the same thing : RAVAGING BEASTS whose only biz with church borders on promise of blessing and miracles. How many of them can face torture, imprisonment or painful death like the apostles? They will its not their portion. Bloody hypocrites who are no different frm juju worshippers. They cant even show concrete proof that what they worship really exists. All they know is their greed for divine blessings and interventions. BEASTS! True words my brother. |

tpia1: harsh words even if true.
but come oh, you yourself arent an angel nah, or werent you the one opening weird threads in another section. Correct me if i'm wrong. As I have never professed to be "Christ like", why should I be an angel? It is those who claim this that are supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard, no? tpia1: To the lord, a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day.
but we havent heard the other side of the story although i'm not saying you're not giving us the full picture. No, you are just insinuating it. |

Romance › Re: Misogyny- Hatred Of Women. by johndoe200: 5:36am On Jan 10, 2011 |
@poster In most cases the misogyny is caused by the actions of women which the men have experienced. Can you blame a man for the way he feels about women, if he has been made infertile by a woman? How? By performing MouthAction on a woman. Yes, this can make a man infertile. If you want more details see this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-579102.0.html |
Romance › Re: Misogyny- Hatred Of Women. by johndoe200: 11:04am On Jan 09, 2011 |
@poster
Mysogyny is also defined as the mistrust of women. In this context, there is nothing wrong with mysogyny.
A healthy mistrust of women is essential to the male survival. |

Kobojunkie: Sure, the @Poster made a mistake there but that still should not remove from what happened to this man. Imagine the FBI/not INS showing up to cart you away when next you step into any US airport. ROFLMAO!!
I mean sure in this case it is the SSS but that don't make it any less terrifying. lol The US does this all the time. It's called rendition. If the man was arrested, there must be a good reason. Why is it that anything done by any law enforcement agent that a poster doesn't like is attributed to the government? This mindset is childish. |
Politics › Re: Is The Army Coming Back? by johndoe200: 5:20am On Jan 09, 2011 |
koruji: @babaearly Correct, but we retain the right to challenge them. The nature of that challenge would be determined. Whether criminal or not the rebellion in the Niger-Delta is a course that would not be reversed without fundamental changes in the structure of Nigeria. Force has proven futile - it is the same army that will go into the creeks under military rule or democracy.
Only under a democracy will we ever achieve the fundamental restructuring that we need - infact the unitary nature of military organization, imposed on Nigeria, is a major reason why we are here today. We only need one visionary leader. We already have a visionary leader in GEJ. WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE? By the end of GEJ's second term you will see the difference in the country. |

Goddex: @Gregg2 That advert is right anyway. His highest educational qualification is a diploma he obtained from School of hygiene Kano between 1966–1967. Here is what I got from Wikipedia about his educational background.
1) Jada Primary School, 1954–1960,
2) Adamawa Provinciall School, Yola, 1961 to 1965, with A'Level studies in Hausa Language,
3) School of hygiene Kano, 1966–1967, graduating with Health Diploma in Hygiene,
The man is actually empty as stated in that advert. He was just fortunate to work with the Nigerian Customs Service and amazed wealth to himself. Don't you mean stole money? |
