PoliticsRe: As A President, How Would You Have Handled The Current Economy Crisis? by Johnjustice: 9:14pm On Feb 07, 2024
I will take drastic measures to scare people hoarding dollars to release it...this is the main problem, dollar speculation among Nigerians, leading to hoarding, and we need to close our economy to unnecessary imports, and buy from nations that will receive naira. I will move against dollar stranglehold on Nigeria.

This is democracy, protest is a right...you can choose to forfeit your rights, but you are just one man.
PoliticsRe: Hardship: Another Protest Erupts In Niger After Arrest Of 25 People by Johnjustice: 9:10pm On Feb 07, 2024
Nigerians protest is your rights, don't die in silence. Government must work for the Nigerian masses not big business, IMF, dollar and the Western nations.

The big businesses are smiling to the bank, the people get no share of national wealth and growth.
PoliticsRe: Shettima Inducts 2 TK-129 ATAK Helicopters, King Air 360i Aircraft In Benue by Johnjustice: 9:06pm On Feb 07, 2024
Training and retraining of Nigeria maintenance engineers is key. Government should build an aeronautics training institution, for air force and war fighting air equipments...we need to have the best trainers and teachers there. We must maintain our equipments and learn how to fix and refurbish them...it's not sustainable to look for foreign skills all the time.
PoliticsRe: Ignore Nationwide Protests Over Hardship At Your Peril - Salihu Mohammed Lukman by Johnjustice: 8:57pm On Feb 07, 2024
The people deserve subsidy, welfare or whatever you call it. This government is focused on policies that benefits only big business.

As far as Nigeria don't have 24 hours electricity, high cost of fuel, will push a lot of small businesses to closure and a lot of people and families into lack.

Government must think of supporting the poor, that's the masses and majority. Give back to the masses through cheap fuel for them, shelter or some other welfare...the wealth of the nation is for all, not for politicians alone.
PoliticsRe: Naira In Transition, Not Jinxed – Bismarck Rewane by Johnjustice: 1:29pm On Feb 06, 2024
Nigerian leaders always follow IMF, and world bank for nyansh like clowns, IMF and world bank see us as mugu, I wonder why we always look up to them, when it has been since obvious that they are exploiting us. We need wise leaders that will cut off this neocolonialism. The dollar is a neocolonialisation tool.

Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Executes Mohammad Ghobadlou, Accused Of Running Over Police Officers by Johnjustice: 10:59am On Jan 23, 2024
Amnesty is biased, any nation that listens to amnesty is useless and wants to be destroyed. Amnesty are being sponsored, some elements in amnesty are being compromised, they are unfair... amnesty has never cautioned America against death penalty, they only caution weak nations and nations perceived as enemies of the West.

Nigerian government should chase out amnesty staff.

Amen!!!
It's quite unfortunate that most Nigerians are not yet aware of the situation they are dealing with...!
A situation where Guns are sold to criminals with the understanding that, "If just one of you is foolish enough to be caught, I will personal lead my boys to your hideout to finish y'all off!" You want to entrust the security of the country in the hands of such a person?!
The Boys on the other hand will be like, "Oga is seated in his air-conditioned office making deals with criminals, raking in Billions only to give an impracticable orders from the comfort of his office, while we are standing all day long under the harsh weather as disposable easy target to be paid peanut - we too sabi make deals now?!"
take your hogwash, your concoctions and generalisations from the pit of hell, to your village. we are talking of nigeria not your village. please stop derailing my thread, this thread is to seek solutions, for patriots only. Everyone knows Nigeria have a serious problem with jihadists, bandits, who are kidnappers, everyone knows Nigeria have Iswap problems, bokoharam, so let's face reality and confront them, not these stories you are talking...
CrimeRe: Nabeeha’s Father: How Bandits Got Access To My Daughters by Johnjustice: 7:20pm On Jan 22, 2024
Solid brother, we need more of such men. Confront the enemy regardless, by any means necessary.

The enemy is the terrorists, the enemy is the bandits and kidnappers. They come to kill, loot and destroy.

If only they allow us carry guns
Yes I agree, vet and scrutinize, like they do in advanced nations... terrorists, bandits have declared war on us, we must respond quickly.

Allow registered arms...like the man whose daughters were kidnapped, his family dignity and his rights as a human were stripped by a bunch of kidnappers...it's wrong...what about the right of the good Nigerian?

Are we saying being good is a crime?

Politicians must act right this time, una never tire for enjoyment?

You people enjoy from Nigeria a lot, the least you can do is do your job well.

Politicians wey no know his work na pako, serious disgrace.

A typical Nigerian Driver will tell you he his only giving Egunje to avoid delay, that's the same mindset of a criminal with weapon.
If we don't discourage the payment of Egunje on the highway and retrain our highway officers, a mere returning of check point will rather enriched the corrupt officers.
Stop being foolish, I didn't mention giving egunje.

Would you rather be kidnapped than delayed in checkpoint?

You are talking of a typical Nigerian driver, that is not relevant to what we are saying, it's heresay.

Am telling you that the most they give to those police men is N1000, unless you have something to hide, would you rather be kidnapped and your family asked to pay millions.

You seem to be a fool. If you don't mind being kidnapped am sure majority of Nigerians do not want to be kidnapped.

Am sure you are one of those criminals that hide on here, disparaging the police to clear road for your criminal associates/relatives.

If you want to be kidnapped, go to southeast, and walk inside the bush path areas, your brothers will gladly kidnap you there.

Prokaryote:
Well you right to some extent, may i ask you Sir.....with all the check point in Maduguiri, how come insurgency and kidnapping is on the increase in those areas?

God to the east Owerri as a case study, some corrupt police officer's have turned each check point to a tax collection spot and as well harass innocent citizen who fail to corporate there by leaving the criminals to have a filled day.

We need to increase our air and water surveillance, involve citizens to pass necessary information to aid our law enforcement agency by creating the right awareness (Our national orientation agency is lagging behind), stop inflow of weapons from our borders, enact strict laws as you said against kidnapping finally discourage payment of ransom by the victims to the kidnappers.
The last point can be archive if our security parameters live up to it's responsibilities to protect life and properties thereby creating the right confidence in the mind of the citizen Just like the developed Nations.
Like I said earlier, it's better to be delayed in checkpoint than kidnapped...how much police wan collect from your hand, if at all, if your papers are complete and you are legit?

Do you rather you get kidnapped?

Checkpoints deter crimes and kidnappers.

But of course the CP will give marching orders, the checkpoint is to check for weapons and fleeing criminals/kidnappers/bandits.

It's all about cost/benefits.

I never seen such people with complex issues my whole life, You pranksters are not a force to reckon with, when tribes were ruling Nigeria, igbos were nowhere to be found. You people are one of the problem of Nigeria...you need Nigeria to survive.

The great tribes of Nigeria are calm, but you bush men, always talking, ranting and fidgeting, can't keep calm because of your evil mind.
