Taking a look at the kind of teens that chat online with people in the cafe, I wouldn't ever try to chat with anybody I don't know, b'cos you may be wasting your time with one juvenile. Everybody now chats online.

PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: Ptdf The Truth Is Out. (liar) by Johnny(m): 2:41pm On Mar 22, 2007
Don't just jump to conclusion please. Have you not heard OBJ saying that he never knew Fasawe? It's only God and the people involved in this case that know the truth. Anything we, the ordinary people say is just mere speculation and guess work arising from sentiment. Morality has grown wings and flown away from our country. A country where a high profile individual who told you yesterday that he would pay your school fees, only turn around today to say that he has never set his eyes on you, let alone promising you.
You see what I mean?  So you can never know who is saying the truth.
PoliticsRe: Who Is Telling The Truth? by Johnny(m): 2:34pm On Mar 22, 2007
Atiku was the head of the economic team and was in charge of the privatization of almost all the government controlled companies.

Now, someone like that sure does have powers to make deals, loot funds and sell companies to friends and relations.
This is true. Atiku, as the VP, has his own power, and it's not everything he does or did that the President gets or got wind of. But one thing that has kept me puzzuled in this saga is that, if the President actually misappropriated the PTDF fund as being alleged by Atiku, would he have started the whole bruhaha knowing fully well that his hands are not cleaned? An insane person wouldn't take such a risk. There is more to this case than meet the eye.
PoliticsRe: Buhari May Not Contest April Election by Johnny(m): 4:03pm On Mar 16, 2007
OBJ does not want Atiku to contest because he is well aware of the man's exploits in the last two elections. Atiku is a master strategist and manipulator. He has a massive war chest and is willing to spend over 1 billion dollars to achieve his aim to be President. Once the cat is out of the bag, it's hard to predict where it'll end up
What are you talking about?
PoliticsRe: Inec Finally Disqualified Atiku : Your Honest Opinion by Johnny(m): 3:53pm On Mar 16, 2007
137. (1) A person shall not be qualified for election to the office of
President if -
(i) he has been indicted for embezzlement or fraud by a Judicial
Commission of Inquiry or an Administrative Panel of Inquiry or a
Tribunal set up under the Tribunals of Inquiry Act, a Tribunals of
Inquiry Law or any other law by the Federal or State Government which
indictment has been accepted by the Federal or State Government,
respectively
Do you believe that the quote above is in the constitution, or you people still believe that OBJ sneakly inserted that overnight 'to disqualify Atiku'?
You are already biased in your judgment, and with that notion, you may still not accept the fact.
His disqualification is good for our democracy. He and his thug supporters have vowed that Nigeria would go in flame if he is disqualified, we are waiting.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Is A Traitor by Johnny(m): 5:35pm On Mar 13, 2007
good talk PDP man, it seems PDP members have taken over nairaland
This is not PDP issue, it's something that has to do with our Nation, and we must not toy with our future. Atiku is not good enough to rule this country. The man is corrupt-minded. The earlier we (or you) disassociate yourself from this man, the better for you and the nation. Whether you like it or not,Obasanjo has toed the path of national development, and since Atiku does not believe in these reforms, and coupled with his dubiousness, he is the least peson in this country to lead us.
PoliticsRe: The Nigerian Press Are Complete Disgrace To The Nation by Johnny(m): 5:24pm On Mar 13, 2007
MY DISAPPOINTMENT!!

I am writing in response to the mail sent in today by one Ben Umadi condemning an earlier one sent in by one Niyi Afolabi. I must register my displeasure with Daar Communication on your report ire of political events in this country. Your support for AC and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubarkar is so clear that some of us have lost hope in the Corporation.
Some of us that have penchant for a corrupt-free society are dismayed and disgusted by your stand on our political issues, especially as related to Atiku and the PTDF scandal.
Atiku is every evil that has name on it. Deceitful, dangerous, treacherous and evil. He is so evil that he is always looking for loopholes in having his ways. The critical issues he is linking the committee's report to is one of his ways of evading the true matter. Whereas the critical issue is that he actually diverted the funds even though approval of FEC is not needed, he used those loopholes to divert PTDF fund.
For God sake, we don't need any more proof. EFCC indicted him; Administrative Panel did the same thing, and now Senate Committee. Were all these people working for OBJ again? I am sick and tired of linking every adverse matter against Atiku to 3rd term, which is buried by the Senate long time ago. Indeed there are other corrupt activities of Atiku, which the Presidency and the masses know, but the presidency decided to take on this because there is enough proof. Even though I am not close to Aso Rock, have you not heard of Atiku's corrupt practices during the COJA 2003 games? And yet, this's the man Daar Communication has been drumming for. The argument now is that a competent court of jurisdiction has nullified all the indictments, and so Atiku must contest the Presidential election. One question I would want to ask you is that; If a court rules today that Asari Dokubo should be released from prison, is it safe and reasonable to obey such a court order?
The truth of the matter is, three bodies have indicted Atiku, and we should consider that as enough proof of his corrupt practices. Any contrary to this indictment is a diversionary tactics. Let us call a spade a spade.
Daar Communication is only out to mislead, misinform the masses and to enthrone a corrupt - minded person so that the country can go back to the dark old days, all in the name of fighting for the 'poor masses'. In collaboration with Atiku, you have come out to tell the world that the OBJ's reforms, which have received both national and international acceptance, are anti-people without human face. Thank God, majority of us know the truth.

Just this morning, I wrote the above letter with a heavy heart to Daar Communication, owner of AIT and Raypower expressing my heart-felt disappontment over their reportire of Nigeria's political issues. These people who are suppose to tell us the truth, unfortunately, have become a tool in the hands of corrupt politicians to misinform and mislead us. And most unfortunately, they are bent on enthroning corrupt personalities. Our journalists are a shame to our nation. They contribute ABSOLUTE NOTHING to the development of this country, rather they are on the path of nation destroying.
Thank God, some of us already know the truth.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Injured, Flown To London For Treatment by Johnny(m): 5:04pm On Mar 13, 2007
Atiku has got no broken knee. His trip is another political bullet targeted at OBJ's government. If you watch AIT's MATTERS ARISING yesterday, you will agree with me that Atiku embarked on that trip for two main purposes;
(1) To send a wrong signal to the national and International communities that all is not well with our health facilities here in Nigeria.
(2) To take his threat of chaos and anarchy to the International communities should INEC exclude his name from the ballot paper of April poll.
The Atiku Vanguard Shamelessly and openly came on air yesterday to tell the world that Nigeria would go in flame if the name of their 'Principal' is not printed in the ballot papers for the April poll. Well, we aar waiting.
I wish him a successful operation. IF THERE IS ANY.

Without being biased, and going by the threads posted by the various contributors, I will give my own credit to the WRITER. I write a little, at least I have two unpublished books to my credit. Friends, it's not damm easy to write a good story, be it true or fictitious. So the man or woman who sat down and wrote a story, and some people 'just' directed or acted the script, to me deserves the credit. Not forgetting the fact that without Mr A or B, the film wouldnt have come out the way it came out anyway.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Indicted by Johnny(m): 4:47pm On Feb 28, 2007
Atiku is every evil that has name on it. Deceitful, dangerous, treacherous and evil. He is so evil that he is always looking for loopholes in having his ways.
The critical issues he is linking the committee's report to is one of his ways of evading the true matter. Whereas the critical issue is that he actually diverted the funds even though approval of FEC is not needed, he use that loopholes to divert PTDF fund.

And I am sick and tired of linking every adverse matters against him to 3rd term, this is burried by the Senate long time ago.
Has anyone noticed that it was only Atiku that keep exposing all the secret of OBJ in the pages of newspapers? Has anyone hear OBJ telling Nigerians that Atiku bought a car for his girfriend? No, it was only Atiku. Has anyone hear OBJ telling Nigerians in the pages of Newspaper that Atiku business is all over the country, no, it was only Atiku. Does that mean Atiku has never bought a car for Girlfriend or has business in Nigeria that OBJ did not known about? Tell me where OBJ exposed private secret of Atiku, none is the answer.
OBJ indeed has other corrupt activities of Atiku, but decided to take on this because there is enough proof, and he knew quite well that Atiku is very slippery and can evade himself from any matters, otherwise, he has other dirty deals that he is involved in. Even though I am not close to Aso Rock, I hear of Atiku's corrupt practices during the COJA 2003 games, but, there is no enough proof.
The truth of the matter is, three body has indicted him, and we should consider that as enough as proof. Any contrary to this indictment is a diversionary tactics. Let us call a spade a spade.
Will the corrupt people of this country who always cry loudest accept this fact? As for me, I have kept a sealed lips on this matter. Now that they have failed in their bid to foist IBB on us, they have carried their support to another 'Evil Genius' who will back out of the path of National development we are threading. Atiku's time is up, and he must go to jail.
PhonesRe: What Problems Have You Had With Your Phone? by Johnny(m): 3:44pm On Feb 28, 2007
My phone never get tired of consuming the strenght of it's batteries. I keep charging them, two of them, while the son-of-the-bitch keeps discharging them. Its a Samsung product, and am almost getting tired of it.
PhonesRe: How Often Do You Charge Your Phone? by Johnny(m): 3:38pm On Feb 28, 2007
I have got two batteries for my Samsung phone, and I charge the batteries everyday. Reason? Phone is bad, solution unknown. No money to buy new one. Very annoying.

Who Does The Greatest Job?

It puzzles my mind each time I watch a good movie as to who deserves the credit of the good work. Is it the Writer, the Actor, the Cameraman or the Director? If you already know, please tell me.
PoliticsRe: Picture Of Yar'Adua And Goodluck by Johnny(m): 2:49pm On Feb 23, 2007
But the duo are not as ugly as we think. I think they are only yet to recover from the shock that they are finally the presidential flag bearers of the PDP against all odds. It's only a shock that has made them appear like that.
PoliticsRe: Why Is It That Nigerians Complain At Any Sign Of Development! by Johnny(m): 2:35pm On Feb 23, 2007
I feel you so much my brother. Have you not seen how we curse and pray that God should take OBJ's life just because he is toeing the path of development? And that's why we have remained stagnant over the years.
