Politics / Re: A Sweet Wind Of Change Is Blowing In Nigeria! by Johnny(m): 1:24pm On Jul 26, 2007
Rubbish! Why should we attack political rivals in the name of probing them. How many people from the ruling party have been probed yet?
NIGERIA NEVER CHANGE

Irksome. Incoherent. Negative. Short sightedness. Ignorance. Uncultured. Unschooled. Rubbish. Immaturity. Corrupt. Backwardness. Feeble-minded ETC.
What a pity for people like this! Must you reply every thread?
Politics / Re: Agusto, Lagos Ministerial Nominee Not Confirmed By Senate by Johnny(m): 1:14pm On Jul 26, 2007
People should forget blame game and weep for this nation.

Bode Agusto was simply victimized for being brilliant at the screening. May be he will not subscribe to chop-I-chop.

This country is not a very serious Nation.

Yes, he displayed astute brilliance at the screening, at least his command of the Queen's language and articulated answers to the questions put to him could testify to this. But I must say that I would have been GREATLY disapponted if the man was cleared by the senate. Reasons; The level of arrogance displayed by Mr Augusto was unspeakable. Standing before supposed Distinquished Senators to say that his eight-year old daughter would probably help him answer some of the questions that the Professionals, Elder statemen and Learned persons would put to him was a big slap on the face and image of the Senate. It was a calculated attempt to humiliate the Upper Legislative chamber. That was after he had said so much and praised his children who are 'doing well' academically in oversea's schools. I think, in our bid to display our intelligence and competence, we should be careful not to employ arrogance and disprespect for highly placed individuals. I congratulate the Senators for the laudable work done. Thank God, Augusto was OBJ's candidate, otherwise people would have put the blame on the old man.

Politics / Re: Can Abiola Ajimola Govern Oyo State by Johnny(m): 1:40pm On Jul 20, 2007
If there is anybody in Oyo state that's not morally fit to govern the state, he's (or it's?) Alao Akala. But today, he's the Executive Governor of the state. So if Abiola is seen as the 'right candidate' by the power that be, nothing stops him whether he's competent or nor.
Politics / Re: Dress Code Of Nigerian Policians: A Disgrace by Johnny(m): 1:34pm On Jul 20, 2007
What's this again? Be ready to teach Yar'adua on how to dress in suit, because I doubt if he has ever worn that. What's wrong with agbada anyway? Did you see Gadaffi at the same gathering?

Politics / Re: Dangote, Others Pull Out Of Kaduna, P-harcourt Refineries' Deal. by Johnny(m): 1:28pm On Jul 20, 2007
This is what short sighted sentimental Nigerians wanted. Now they have it!

Don't mind them my brother. We are so short-sighted in this country, and the unfortunate thing is that those short-sighted and ignorant individuals make the loudest noise. Lets wait and see whether the refinaries will start working. The people have refused to move forward. And we have the most unprofessional journalism here in Nigeria, where Journalists ONLY support and report doom, anarchy, retrogression and corruption. This country don tire me sef.
NYSC / Re: New NYSC Quota System: What Is Your Opinion? by Johnny(m): 4:54pm On Jul 18, 2007
It's quite unfortunate that this's happening now. But you can not heave all the blames on either the government or the respective schools. The truth of the matter is that the number of graduates being chunned out of our higher institutions is alarming, and there are no facilities on ground to accomodate all these graduates at the same time. We have heard of '3 batches' instead of the normal and existing '2 batches'; This too is good. Now the the so - called quota system. This remains a myth. It's now the case of who you know in Abuja that determines when you go for your service. This's very unfortunate. If my opinion is to be seeked concerning this issue, I will say that the NYSC scheme be scrapped, the money budgeted for every corp member be payed cash to every graduate cleared by his/her institution. This will go a long way in helping graduates to start something with the money paid in cash pending when a plum job comes. I think NYSC scheme has lost it's direction and grauates should not be made the scape-goat.
Politics / Re: Picture Of Umar Musa Yar Adua As A Boy by Johnny(m): 12:13pm On Jul 13, 2007
Whic of them is Ya'radua? The man or the baby? The young man is Yar'adua and his wife with their first daughter who recently got married to a state governor. The topic should have been, 'Picture of Yar'dua as a young man'.
Politics / Re: 1998 Obasanjo Worths N20,000, Today He Worth N180 Billion ! by Johnny(m): 12:07pm On Jul 13, 2007
Isn't it silly to believe that as at May, 1999, Obasanjo was worth only N20,000?

I strogly doubt if you truely secured a job yet with this immature and insane mentality of yours, or your person just put you there to please your parents. You must be a round peg in a square hole whereever you find yourself today. No wonder somebody said you are a first class idiot. Don't think everybody rising against your irresonsible mind here is a 2:2 holder. No!

Romance / Re: This Madness, Why Me God? by Johnny(m): 4:20pm On Jun 27, 2007
This one pass my power ooh.Anyway,i just dropped down to wish you luck on your newly found love

Why are you talking like this? I wish you were in my shoes to feel the psychological trauma this lady is causing me now. And yet I don't know how to attach her hard now that she's mourning her husband. And you know what, she has just sent me a credit card that I should be sending her 'lovely text messages', and each time she calls me, which she does more than ten times in a day, all she will be saying is 'I love you'. For God's sake, the husband is lying in the mutuary. Is this truelly love? God!

My advise for you is to give her time to mourn, let her know she needs to mourn her husband but don’t keep away completely she would need a shoulder to cry on and guide her during the next few months, but she is definitely not ready for relationship.

I am NOT asking her to date me oo. I never did that while we were in school not to talk of now that she's lost her husband just last two weeks.

Romance / Re: I Need Advice From The Only People That Could Advise: by Johnny(m): 4:54pm On Jun 26, 2007
Again, guys like him don't come along every day AT ALL!!! How can I swallow my pride, and leave the door open for him when and if he changes, without sacrificing my dignity?

This is where the problem lies. The relationship might not work out after all. You seems to be too powerful for this guy, and hes's finding a way out of this affair as early as possible. And be warned! the parents might not welcome you too.
Romance / Re: I Love My Husband Dearly, But I Am Attracted To My Work Colleague ! by Johnny(m): 5:32pm On Jun 13, 2007
You are the one starting and walking into this affair headlong and not the guy troubling you. So the only advise I have for you is to advise yourself whether to continue or retrace your steps. Of course, you know that what you are about doing or doing is evil.
Romance / Re: My Pathetic Story by Johnny(m): 5:18pm On Jun 13, 2007
My darlin, I don't see any reason why you should hate yourself because you don't have a job. Are you the only one in this condition? Let me tell you, there are thousands, if not million, of Nigerian Graduates walking our streets without job. So why feeling depressed for a plague that's ravaging everybody? I felt the same way after my service, but after attending aptitude tests where innumerable graduates converge, no matter the position advertised, I got consoled and wait for MY TIME, which must surely come.
Politics / Re: Do You Think Mujahid Dokubo-asari Should Be Release? by Johnny(m): 2:50pm On Jun 13, 2007
@ Johnny, u should be ashamed for calling for the execution of a fellow nigerian and how can u even compare Asari to Bin Laden and Saddam?

@ angel101; I wish you knew how much I am calling for the execution of some Nigerians so that the nation could move forward. Anybody who stands the way of NATIONAL GROWTH and UNITY should be crushed without hesitation irrespective of his/her social, financial, religous and ethnical standing. And if I may ask, what's the different between Asari Dokubo and Bin Laden and Saddam? You don't think Asari Dokubo could be worse than these men if given the opportunity those men had? Go and read more about the man called Asari Dokubo.
Food / A'm Still Confused! by Johnny(m): 3:17pm On Jun 08, 2007
I was having my breakfast in a Restaurant one certain morning when three guys walked in to have theirs too. They settled themselves down and asked for a plate of Garri, which I thought was for one of them. Suprisingly, those three guys all watched their hands and began to eat the plate of garri. I became saddened that matured guys like these could not afford a plate of food each. But suprisingly again. they ordered for another plate of garri and began to eat again from the same plate. Curiousity quickly replaced the saddened heart. I got the shock of my life life when those guy, after finishing the second plate, asked for the third plate. I quickly washed my hands and rushed out of the restaurant.
Please, could somebody explain to me why those guys decided to eat one plate of food together one after the other instead of eating individually as is common in restaurant? Is it love or a kind of cult thing? Am still very suprised.

Food / Re: Do You Like Smoking Garri? by Johnny(m): 2:53pm On Jun 08, 2007
Where did we get this 'smoking garri' from? Do we 'smoke' or 'drink' garri?

Back to the question; Yes, I like drinking garri.
