Candycrusher:What do you gain by twisting history? All existing literature points to the fact that Gowon backed out of agreement. |
GudluckIBB:Orji Uzo Kalu that couldn't win a common senatorial district election. |
I feel your pain. It's really getting out of hand. |
Bigajeff:Thank you Boss. I was able to create another ad account this time, I chose dollar as the currency for the transaction and was able to link it through the business manager account where I already have my Access bank visa card stored. The ad is currently running and I was told I will be billed at a later date. |
noetic5:Thanks man |
Bigajeff:Brother please I really need help with the facebook advert payment. Spent the whole day in the back yesterday without any solution. They have no idea how to resolve if. Please. |
noetic5:Brother please let me have your number so I call you to put me through. Being battling with the whole thing for the past 24hrs. Please. |

rusher14:Am aware of that... Dangote's refinery is still not enough. Not sure if it will even take the continent's refining capacity to 10% of the world's total. |
mrvitalis:Brother am sure we all have lived long enough to know that if even if we start producing 10million barrels a day it wont change anything. Nigeria as the big brother in Africa is managed by intelligent slaves to the western nations. Africa has a refining capacity of less than 4% of the world's total. Majority of the African nations import refined products from the west. We should be clamouring for refineries and not exploration anymore. We should never export a barrel of crude oil again till we are able to satisfy the African market with refined fuel. An initiative like this will ensure that African wealth remains in Africa and watch out as the naira becomes the African dollar. But our Harvard trained technocrats will never think towards this direction because they are slaves to the Western world. Kachiukwu once said that it's cheaper to import fuel than to refine in Nigeria. |
NekkyCee, kensmoney, Estherokitikpi1, Tweetbright... The four of you can put heads together and get a 3bedroom or 2bedroom flat within the area already mentioned. It will really save you guys the drama of accommodation in Lagos. People with fat budget go through hell in the process of getting an accommodation not to talk of those looking for who to share accommodation with. I think it's high time govt come up with policies that will ensure that houses most have people living in them especially in Lagos. Two flats in the building beside ours has been vacant for two years because the owners keep calling an outrageous amount as rent considering the state of the house. All round the world... The number of vacant homes outnumber the number of homeless people. The story of the human race. Sad! |
automatix:Brother God bless you! it's high time our leaders begin to think Nigerian. The Nigerian project must be carried out by Nigerians if we will have any shot at succeeding. This illegal refineries need to be harnessed. This is the reason the western are breaking barriers. Smart guys into illegal stuffs are put to good use for the greater good of the nation. We can't keep depending on western nations to solve our basic problems. Can you imagine American government destroying illegal refineries built by Americans when America depends on other nations for refined products? We need to start thinking for ourselves. If it's the issue of oil theft, the Shell and Mobil of this world steal our crude on a daily basis and we have never complained. We applaud the international oil organizations stealing our oil while we are prepared to wage war against our brothers for the same crime. |

Stelvin101:Wow... No wonder churches in Nigeria are having a filled day. Who told you every church belongs to God? |
Is it even necessary to give someone money for offering? If the person doesn't earn money, I see no reason for it. We are just too religious while our faith is less than an inch deep. The said uncle is just too religious. What stops him from placing the op on a monthly allowance and make the op understand that from the allowance he should always take out his offering? Many of us condemning the op are just part of the problem. Let me ask what do churches use our offering for? 1. Engage in never ending church building projects when more than half of their members are homeless. 2. Maintain the lavish lifestyle of the G.O. many of the G.O have personal houses in almost all the states in Nigeria. Etc Now, not to talk of the politics in the church. I once worshipped in a local assembly where 85% of the tithe and offering from the branch is remitted to the regional quarters. So the local assembly retains just 15% meanwhile my hope was that some of that money should be used to take care of the very poor among us in the local assembly. Churches operate a cutthroat capitalist system where the local assembly are made to starve just so that the head quarters can overfloor. The system of exploitation we complain of in our economy is strongly rooted in our churches today. What is true religion? James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their misfortune and to keep oneself unstained by the world. Clearly, our churches have lost focus. It's all about church building projects that is unending. I believe in other to re-position the church to be Christ like who was selfless, we the members have to speak up to address some of these issues. If the Christ was alive today, he would definitely had commanded that some church building should be converted to residential building in order to house the homeless. |
Worksunlimited:Bless you brother! We the masses have to wake up to the fact that it's a class struggle. Our founding fathers simply begged the British government to step aside so they can replace them as our slave masters. So we have slave masters in same colour of the skin, speaks same language. How will Nigeria get better if the masses do not rise to demolish the system of exploitation foisted on us by the 1914 amalgamation? |
LorDBolton:It's just an act of cowardice. Why kidnap the vulnerable? They should go for the big fishes. The former Presidents and governors who stole this nation blind are still breathing. |
tuale4u:Within the last 17months what has Buhari done differently? Is it the issue of budget padding? Or overblown cost of governance? Or the 10 presidential jet he has decided to maintain? |
TPAND:Have you forgotten that GEJ is from the minority? That is the Nigerian politics. Buhari, Shagari, IBB, Abacha, Abdulsalami, OBJ all left behind an Eldorado state. While GEJ came in and spoilt everything. |
byrron:Funny but, true. Within the last 17months what has Buhari done differently? Is it the issue of budget padding? Or overblown cost of governance? Or the 10 presidential jet he has decided to maintain? What moral ground does he have to blame anybody? |
GoodofNaija:Now I understand where you're coming from. We certainly have different ideas on what development should be. Cuba despite being a poor country has more to offer it's citizens than your so called developed economy. Free healthcare is enshrined in the constitution as a fundamental human right and every Cuban must have free annual medical checkup. How many people can afford it in your so called developed economies. Cuban doctors go to people's home to take blood samples and treat patients. Cuba has more doctors in relation to their population, 8 doctors to 1000 people while your developed economy like UK and US can only booast of 2.7, 2.5 respectively to 1000 people. Infant mortality rate is far lower than your so called developed economies. While life expectancy is very similar. Even the WHO director general, Margaret Chan, have called on the developed economies to adopt the Cuban health care system. Cuba literacy level is 99.7%. How many developed economies have achieved that? Libya under Gaddafi was better than your so called developed economy in every aspect so I don't need to go into specifics. At this point it becomes pertinent to ask, is development made for man or man made for development. Erecting skyscrapers every where when majority of the populace can't afford basic health care and education is nothing but a disservice to the human race. The unborn generations doesn't need your idea of a developed economy. It's absolutely meaningless to place the cart before the horse. Let's make sure we achieve basic necessities before we jump. Fidel Castro and Gaddafi were Heroes. |
koboko69:Wow... Sounds personal. Lolzzz... Well, you just ended up attacking me instead of addressing the issues on ground which is really unfortunate, and thereby committing falacy. Am very sure you wrote the law. What's the process of confiscation of property and how has that improved our economy considering the fact that same government will be selling public assets to same politicians? Go to the street and find out if the army of unemployed youths really care about the ownership of a any company of today that offers them employment. It's only ignorant fellows like you that believes anybody cares about the law. The constitution says whatever the Supreme Court says and, whatever the Supreme Court says depends on who is present. Albeit, you didn't know that. ![]() |
Oblang:I never disputed the fact that it builds strong few individuals. What you don't understand is that the new world order can only strive via corruption. The current world system really need Third World countries to have strong leaders like Fidel Castro, Gaddafi, Hugo Chavez etc. These leaders are the only type of leaders that will secure the right of the poor masses. Efcc over the years have proven to be more corrupt that the politician themselves. It's only a daydreamer that will believe that any funds realised from their bogus investigation will go into public infrastructure. So they should leave those businesses running while they can work towards taking over the ownership through the court. Simple! |
GoodofNaija:This is the height of hubris... @built a formidable society. A society where cops kill it citizens like dogs. There is a form of corruption practiced in America. It's all about big businesses. That is why top executives will spend so much lobbying Congress and when their companies fails, they get bail out from tax payers money and the top executives get plea bargain for reduced sentence. This is just insulting. Big businesses that American government have invaded mostly Latin American nations to protect their interest are growing because of their innovative. Laughable. And your darling China last year reduced the number of cases eligible for death penalty to 46. Removing counterfeiting and financial fraud from the list. They also increased the amount eligible for death penalty from 100k yuan to 3million yuan. This is the most interesting part. In order to keep pace with economic development, they have increased minimum level of corruption charges from 5000 yuan to 30,000 yuan. Now, tell me that the current world economy doesn't strive on corruption. Not forgetting the fact that President Xi Jinping's brother in-laws and many of his party members were all implicated in the Panama saga and till date none has been prosecuted. Like I said... There are way things are and there are way things seem. If you choose to believe the propaganda from western nations painting a corruption free society you're free. I rest my case. |
All for what? This is a bloody waste of time. Democracy is the biggest fraud ever invented. Flashing illusion of freedom to the poor masses. Less than 1% decided the future of the Edo people. |
GoodofNaija:Very funny. A newborn baby would have been swayed by your argument. There are way things are and there are way things seem. The world economy strives on corruption. Don't be deceived by the western media. Who introduced plea bargain that we just adopted here in Nigeria? Who legalized lobbying? What is happening in Syria? What happened in Iraqi? Whats happening in Afghanistan? What happened in Nicaragua? What happened in Venezuela? What happened in Philippines? America for instance, since the Second World, have invaded more than 50 countries both directly or indirectly just to protect the interest of their corporations. Either by removing a democratically elected government and installing a dictator or vice versa. Same can be said of UK, Japan etc. Clearly, according to your standards they are absolutely not corruption related. Please! |
LorDBolton:Well... Whatever their reasons are they should know they are creating more economic problems. The ocean of unemployment is fast over flowing. If not addressed we will definitely have anarchy on our hands. |
Stelvin101:Do you even understand how the economy works? Has anybody been convicted of any financial crime since the war against corruption kicked off? Yet, efcc keeps shutting down private businesses which has contributed to the loss of more than 4million jobs. If only all the money embezzled by Abacha and Co was invested in our economy we won't be complaining. There is no economic benefit of shutting down a legit business because some of the seed capital has been alleged to have come from the public confers. This is what the world powers don't do. If not, the Swiss govt should have shut down companies in possession of Abacha's loot All the money efcc recovered from Ibori and Alamaisyha, have they been able to account for it? |
nuti:This people have no idea of the dangers we are in if Efcc keep shutting down private businesses. More than 4million jobs lost already. |
fostermd:This is not about encouraging any corruption. The world economy only strives on corruption. Why haven't the Swiss govt shut down businesses where Abacha's loot was invested? There is no economic benefit of shutting down a legit business because some of the seed capital has been alleged to have come from the public confers. 4million jobs lost already, and many more to go, and we are just approaching the last quarter of the year. Please name one person that has been convicted since the war against corruption kicked off. We can't just continue on this part. |
Rilwayne001:That is not the point. What is the economic benefit of shutting down a business? If they have a problem with the owners then charge them to court. More than 4million jobs have disappeared, this year alone. Since they can't create jobs they should stop taking away the ones currently available in the name of fighting corruption. |
