I received a mail on Saturday that they were reviewing the additional documents I sent’ abeg how long will it take for them to finalize on my application considering that I am a May applicant. The documents they requested for are my kids birth certificates, marriage certificate and authorization letter from hubby to travel with them. I don’t know how long this will take . I started lectures online already since May and it hasn’t been easy at all. I am having mid semester test next week’ I don’t wall all my efforts to be in vain o |

I have been refreshing my mail since 6am and nothing yet. This thing is funny o. I got a request like week to send extra documents like my kids birth certificates, my marriage certificate and authorization letter from my husband to travel with the kids. All these I already uploaded when I submitted my application except the authorization letter. I submitted all the documents same day the requested was sent but I later realized that the heading on the authorization letter had consent letter instead as it was an edited version of the consent letter I used to travel to the US. I edited it again and sent it through webform since there was no any space to upload that on my application page .Pls does anyone have an idea why the certificates was requested again despite submitting with my application? |

DestinationCann: This is wrong please. IRCC says "study permit application" not approval
Important: Time spent studying outside of Canada only begins to count towards PGWP length after the department receives the study permit application. As such, studies undertaken before the department received the study permit application can be deducted from the PGWP length. Note that the minimum length a PGWP can be issued for is 8 months. Therefore, if a student only completes 7 months of studies after their study permit application is received, they are not eligible for a PGWP. Students are encouraged to apply for their study permits prior to starting their studies. There is nothing wrong is this . It means that it start counting from when you submit your application . Simply trying to discourage people not to start any course until you’ve applied for your study permit |

TennieYF: Hi and good morning everyone. Sorry I've been MIA from here I just needed the space because it was beginning to affect my mental and emotional health. I even stopped checking my portal everyday. I'm still here, waiting and hopeful....I can't believe we've entered another thread already I remember how excited I was to see Thread 19 and I was so hopeful that it was my thread to testify. I guess God knows best.....#May14th Applicant still waiting and hopeful for my PPR. I wish all those who have gotten theirs that I might have missed congratulations and to those still waiting like me, our PPR is coming before the end of August by God's grace and we'll all testify! Amen. Hi Tennie.. I also applied same day . Although mine is a little bit complicated as I also applied with my kids . I am still here but I already made a decision to start online as the school school allows me to start until November and can withdraw and get a refund if I am being denied by November . It seems like a good option for me . I am hoping that a miracle will happen between now and next week |

RollyA: Personal Assets & Financial Status
My first preassessment notes were vague, in fact i still don't understand it till today as attached.
I did a lot of things differently despite that in this second application:
I paid 28k out of 33k of my tuition through my mum, she gave me 7m which i immediately used to pay 20k cad (in my first application i paid only 7k) I showed 10.3m in bank account (MBS) (my sponsor gave me 6m since last year Nov and still standing in my account, balance of 4m was my savings) (funds were still intact) i had mutual funds of 1.4m (since first application) I had 2.4m in pension ( got a letter from PFA 25% is immediately accessible) also since my first application i attached gift deeds for both my uncle and the new funds my mum gave me My uncle showed over 18m in his bank plus introduction letter showing his net worth My mum attached a retirement letter and stated that she had funds from her 32 years of working, she also had a balance of 4m left to show she will be fine I included study leave and evidence I got a promotion last year and commendation for stepping in an acting position as MD. My husbands business docs, showed also 2.3m in his account, he had 2m as fixed deposit (same with first application) I attached his land docs and added the survey in the second application i bought shares almost 500K to establish assets (new)
I have ordered for my first and second notes, maybe I should have ordered final notes from my first application because i used preassessment notes while my application was still in progress to apply.
I am numb, I am sad, I feel like all my efforts were in vain.
I had ordered my notes last month to see what was happening and they are only due tomorrow, i guess they dished out the refusal today so i wouldnt have time to ammend. It’s so sad that you were denied after meeting all these .At times I wonder what these people really want. I think they are doing tumbo tumbo with our application cuz I see no really why they should deny you . It is well sis. Pls don’t give up. You can fire up and try again |

TundeTheHunter: E don happen o!!!!! PPR ALERT TIMELINE: • February 8th: First submission • February 17th: I received an NSE request. I had already submitted IELTS, so they just requested for MBS certificate. • March 10th: I completed my NSE resubmission. • March 16th: I went for upfront medicals • April 12th: Medicals were updated to passed • April 19th: I received a BVL At this point I was so excited and was anticipating receiving PPR. • April 21st:Received a request letter asking for police certificate. I received the request mail around 6am. I went to Ikoyi that same day to get the police certificate and submitted it that same day. • May 5th: I received a second BVL. When I received this, I was so confused. I had never heard of someone receiving more than on BVL. I thought IRCC mistakenly sent me BVL instead of PPR. • May 31st : I ordered my GCMS notes • June 30th: I received my GCMS notes. They were perfect, they showed “Eligibility: passed” and “Final: approved”. I was so happy, but IRCC decided to keep me waiting. I can't lie, I started to doubt whether the notes were true. • July 28th : PPR I am a first time applicant. I applied for a PGD in Marketing & Data Analytics at Okanagan college. I submitted 2 MBS certificates, one from my dad and the other from my uncle. I also submitted two letters of sponsorship, one from my parents the other from my uncle. It has ended in praise!!
Congratulations |

lawfree638: For your information
IRCC online service will be unavailable from 4:30 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021 (Nigeria time). More than 24hours break.
And most likely, there will a public holiday on Tuesday, July 20 to celebrate Idd-Ul-Adha if it doesn't cross over to Wednesday.
Obviously, our livescores portal will be on holiday too. Even though tomorrow Saturday is another day but a weekend, I hope and pray PPRs to drop accordingly. Pls take it easy .. it’s just 6hrs not 24hrs. I guess the mistake is cuz of the stress of waiting for PPR |

Activateoluwase: Morning bosses, Please can someone put me through on how to apply to fanshawe college, when I tried to apply as an international student it kept saying All student applications from Nigeria must be submitted via one of the College's approved education agents. For a full list of approved education agents, please contact Fanshawe College's International Office at agent@fanshawec.ca. and after I massaged them, up till no response. I seems not to understand or is there something am not doing correctly . I registered on international.ontariocolleges.ca I uploaded my documents and paid application fees You can try it too |

dammy135: I have an admission to a college in Canada for Winter 2022. A year old daughter who is US citizen. Is it wise to add her to this application to be submitted this month? Please I need an urgent response. Thanks. I am also looking forward for this answer as I also have a 2 years old son who is also a US citizen. I was advised not to include him because US citizens don’t need visa to enter Canada . I only stated in my SOP that I’ll be going with him. |
