Less expectations of people regardless of who you are (status, financial networth, educational qualifications and all that) I've learnt to manage what to expect of you and number 2, I've learnt not to hold anybody to an higher standard again (reason, we've got blood running in our veins) |

North shouldn't wait, this shit shouldn't be about regional. Politics is a serious business and shouldn't be a form of rotation among waring regions, those who are competent enough regardless of their regions should be elected and not the nonsense in town.
We saw what happen with the last idiot in power, same script is playing out and some funny higher animals from the same region as the president are tongue tied now. |

I've never been a fan of the long list of sub humans parading as politicians we have over here in Nigeria, now is not the time neither is it tomorrow. Until our leaders understand the meaning of accountability and altruism and are ready to practice it I'm sorry, we will keep going in circle. Artiiclebeast: Lol

Crime › Re: Navy Destroys 15,775 Litres Of Stolen Crude Oil In Ondo by jojothaiv(m): 7:07am On Nov 20, 2023 |
Botragelad: How can the navy destroy 15,775 litres of crude oil without causing a massive environmental disaster? That's a lot of oil to just dump into the sea or burn off. Surely, they would have to find a way to safely dispose of it or return it to the rightful owners.
How can they estimate the value of the products to be N13,251,000? That's a very precise number for something that depends on the market price and the quality of the oil. How did they measure the quantity and the grade of the oil? Did they have a lab on board or did they just guess?
According to them, the wooden boat was intercepted about 12 nautical miles off the coast when they also say that the base will intensify surveillance within the axis? That's a huge distance to cover with a wooden boat. How did they track and intercept it? Did they have a radar or a satellite or did they just spot it with their eyes?
They claim the base is committed to stamp out the menace of COT and other crimes when they also say that they received intel on illegal bunkering within the axis? That means they already knew that there was a problem and they didn't do anything about it until now. How effective is their surveillance and intelligence?
This statement is a load of rubbish that doesn't add up. It sounds like the navy is trying to cover up their incompetence or corruption by making up a story that doesn't match the facts. |

Trumpdonald5: I still wonder why they ask civil servants to retire at about 65yrs yet allow people over 70yrs to vie for political offices. This has to stop. Everyone should retire at about 65yrs to give room for younger ones. If at 65 you are no longer fit to work as a civil servant, you shouldn't be fit enough to work as a governor or senator or president. I support this too. In society where accountability is the key word, every penny spent should be well documented and explained and not just tossing unexplainable figures around but then this is Nigeria, some people are perfectly okay with the state of the nation. |
