asuustrike1:
Aside the mentioned factors you gave, there had been job losses as a result of downsizing by many companies . Many companies had closed their businesses in Nigeria and relocated to neighboring countries because of the epileptic power supply facing Nigeria. Utterances from PMB alone has sent bad signal to foreigners that had wanted to invest in the country.
Most of the companies that closed shops were companies that had no business opening offices in the first place.

If they had any business opening office initially and they left the country because of PMB then what is attracting these new ones that are recruiting in hundreds on a daily basis? or does it mean what chased them away had left the country.

The truth is that most of those companies you mentioned were feeding off proceeds of corruption. An example is the $37million dollars uncompleted hotel abandoned in banana island. That’s about N12billion Naira which would easily climb up to $100million (36billion Naira) when completed. Do you know how many people has lost their jobs directly or indirectly due to the abandoning of the project? Those are the kind of companies that packed up. They were not contributing to the economy they were instead hurting the economy. These are real companies that are here to stay.

Exactly!

Udom has done GREATLY but it was never due to Buhari. Even before coming of Buhari it was his vision to industrialise Akwa Ibom state and reposition it after Akpabio almost destroyed it.
Industrialise Akwa Ibom with what? Rice from Thailand?

If Buhari didn’t start rice revolution what will that mill be milling? Will they be milling stones?

Is Akwa Ibom planting rice? When did they start planting rice?

Mr Tonye give credit to whom it is due.

One thing is to see job advert the other is to call for test and interview. There less white collar jobs in country. These companies advertised always as for skills aside the grade of applicants. Having a good grade is just a step but other factors are considered. Aside this high number persons apply for job slot limited to certain numbers. Another is people leaving their former jobs to join the huddle. Many persons experienced in that area will be considered after scaling through written test and interview. You dont expect companies to employ someone not experience with skills to another with the required skills.
So in short what you’re saying is that it’s not the lack of job but the fact that people are either not qualified, inexperienced or outrightly unemployable.

Then why blame the government for job losses. Imagine this one too will blame it on PMB.

I agree with most of your points but saying that Obi has no right whatsoever to do so is making the same mistake Buhari made with his 5% speech. Even GEJ has the right to ask! If Buhari happens to loss election next year he has the right in the future to query any present government on issues that he himself failed to address. As long as we are Nigerians it is our constitutional right and that should not be denied anyone. Because if you started saying Obi does not have the right because he belongs to a different party where exactly are we going to draw the line?
My brother you seem to be getting this wrong and the is our problem in this country.

If someone that failed can stand up to still criticize his successor then where is the shame and if there’s no shame there won’t be sense of responsibility cos everyone will believe if they fail, no one will blame them since the blame will be on his successor. And the rot will continue.

In a sane clime once you fail or your party fails you hide your head in shame. You don’t come back to criticize the person trying to clean up your mess for being too slow.

It negates all moral standard for someone who failed at something to be criticizing someone who’s still in the process.

I understand you may be trying hard to exonerate Obi from PDP failure but the moment he agreed to fly the PDP flag, he has agreed to shoulder all the baggage’s that comes with the flag.

One of the reason we voted APC was because they promised to deliver? PDP of 16 years is behind us what is before us now is APC of 3 years plus.

If you fire an employee that can't do his job and you employ someone else that claims to be capable what would you do each time you ask the new guy to deliver and he goes "boss I can't deliver because the last guy did a bad job?" Will you keep paying him or cut him lose after three years plus?
I understand you and Osinbajo was getting to the point of addressing it when he was cut off.

The question was ease of doing business and Obi was saying Nigeria is 124 presently and making a case of the infrastructure in NPA being poor.

Osinbajo replies him in his rebuttal that Nigeria fell 64 places under PDP but has risen about 28 places in 3years. Meaning PDP met it at like 80something but left it at 150something now it’s risen 20something places(under APC) to 124.

Osinbajo also reminded him PDP was in power for 16years so who’s to blame for the infrastructure.

If you sack someone for being poor, that person doesn’t have the right to come back and complain of how poor things has being. Obi was not even talking about the present he was talking about infrastructure. He has no right whatsoever to do so as long as he’s flying PDP.

IslamRe: Custody Of Children After Divorce In Islam? by jomoh: 1:00pm On Dec 14, 2018
nahzyla:
Salam all.

I am asking this question because of a Muslim sister who is having issues in her marriage.

Her husband fails to provide for the family and he is hardly even around for days, the last time he showed up he disappeared again for a month and then sent a text to his wife saying she can leave if she is tired of the marriage but she must leave the children behind, she cannot take them with her.

She didn't do court marriage so she cannot fight for custody with Nigerian laws so what is she supposed to do regarding custody of the kids?

In Islam who keeps the kids after divorce, the man or woman?

Thanks for your help.

I thought there’s a ruling stating if the husband has refused to have sexual relationship with the woman for a period of time that it means they’re islamically divorced.

Kindly shed more light on this maybe the woman can use that avenue as her way out. That is if the Avenue is open to be used. Since the husband has refused to verbally divorce her.

For Hashim to link APC to the exclusion shows he’s also of the same mind set with Sowore. They still believe activism and student unionism is the way to Aso Rock.

Have you even read the bill or just reharseing people's comments in ignorance, during the build up to the 2015 general election when the card readers were introduced to enhance credibility in our electoral system, though ther were winners and losers but does the card readers serve the purpose to help sanitize our electoral system yes but lack the necessary legal backing therefor, some selfish politicians take advantage of this loopholes and manupulated the system, that's why this bill was sponsored to give the necessary lagal backing to insure free, fair and credible election and above all, solve the problem of ballot box snatching and unnecessary rigging in our electoral system.
Obviously you’re replying from a preprogrammed mind set the president doesn’t want to sign the bill because it won’t favour him. So you assume I’m condemning the bill because I believed the bill won’t favour the PMB.

With what you wrote above it’s obvious most of you people don’t read between the lines. So let me enlighten you.

These law makers had the whole of 3years after the 2015 election to amend the bill and even test run it at various elections that took place during the years in different states but No they didn’t. They were busy following Saraki to CCT. They didn’t bother to amend it when they were winning but they waited until they lost elections in osun, ekiti, kwara and other places before they decide to amend it. FINE. NO PROBLEM.

But then they still had from January till December to present the bill to the president but NO. They knew they wanted to amend the law but decided to put the NASS on a 3months recess for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. They came back and presented an error filled bill which was sent back.

By the time they finished the correction election campaign has started. We are already 3months close to the election proper.

They new they wanted to amend the bill and INEC was getting ready by budgeting the funds needed for the technology in the bill but yet they cut the bill and diverted the funds to their personal projects.

Now the president has raised these two questions and I’ve not seen anyone answering it. Rather they keep shouting that the president knows he’ll loose.

Here’s my response to someone else I’ll like if you can give answers to the questions there cos that person has refused to answer it.

Imagine what you just said.

Visible errors in an electoral law is an invalid excuse?

Removal of card reader is an invalid excuse?

Removing funds budgeted for what you’re including in the electoral law is invalid?

There’s no reasoning with you people.

You’re only grappling at congectures that are not tenable in any sane gathering.

How are you to determine he will loose if he decides to sign the law.

Non of you has provided any legal basis to compel the president to sign the law but the president and his people has provided you with a very valid point.

He has stated the international charters on elections worldwide(not changing the rules of electoral law less than 6months to election). No one has tackled it. Instead you keep repeating “it’s because he will loose”.

Keyamo has provided you people with precedence of a cancelled election as a result of such. None of you has tackled it. Instead you keep repeating “it’s because he will loose”.

Tackle the two key points and stop the invalid point of “he will loose, he will loose”.
The bottom line is that the timing of the amendment is late now. A lot of court cases and confusion will arise after the elections due to misunderstanding and misinterpreting of the electoral law proper. This will lead to a lot of cancellation of elections like it was done in kenya.

Excelboi:
Then what are you suggesting they eat?
Honestly at this point you need to speak with a real expert.

But I’m very sure it’s not growers they need right now. They don’t need any growth again. They need to be laying eggs.

First I’ve never heard of anything called prelayers. What I know is that you feed them growers till they start dropping eggs themselves then you switch to layers.

Second you don’t go from prelayers to growers. You were supposed to go from prelayers to layers.

My suggestion is this.

Going by the second picture of 22weeks. The positioning of their arms/wings shows they ready to start laying eggs.

1. Take one of them, kill it and look for sign of egg production in her egg pouch(there should be something like a chain of tiny eggs). Once there’s sign of egg production then you proceed with prelayers.

2. i. Stop the growers immediately
ii. go back to prelayers(feed them for 3days with a lot of water
iii. Then switch to layers and let’s see what happens.
