IslamRe: Where 2 Oceans Meet But Do Not Mix, Confirmed By The Quran Over 1400 Years Back by jomoh: 10:21am On Mar 08, 2019
Abrahamdgreat:
It is because of the different chemical composition (due to the different locations they are coming from) which in turn causes them to have different densities. They do meet (occasionally when the two different water currents push them in the same direction) but due to those factors I mentioned any little change in water currents that brings those different water bodies into their former positions especially when it is in the direction of their colony.

They meet but don't mix only because of their chemical composition, it is wonderful. It being mentioned by the quaran doesn't mean it wasn't there before (the phenomenon i.e)
Nobody is saying the Quran brought it there or that it wasn’t existing before but who knew that it was existing as at that time? And who knew at that time(1400years ago) that they do not mix?

How did the person know that the two seas were not mixing? Obviously as at 1400 years ago no one could’ve thought seas have different chemical composition that could make them not to mix.

Acts 27:38-41

38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.
39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
This proves nothing Oga. Two seas met so? It didn’t say the two seas don’t mix.

Everyone knows we have different seas and they must meet at a point but where is the prove that people knew that they do not mix long before the Quran?

If you have the prove that everyone knew that they do not mix before the Quran came then why were the mordern researchers still researching it and reporting it as if it was a new discovery?

Lol.. we don't need to dabble into foresight and all..

So where were in frastructure they once held before they left in droves?

An investor does not wait for infrastructure, that is why he is an investor... he creates infrastructures and business startups.
Make a correction to the bold so I can get you properly.

On the second part, you assumption is laughable at the best. An investor don’t need infrastructure because he is into charity organization right.

You have iron ore that belongs to the country so you expect an investor into the auto industry to come and develop your steel industry when there are dozens of countries with already developed steel industries.

You have Ajaokuta in kogi and iron ore in delta so you expect an investor to build your cargo train from delta to kogi in other to transport the raw materials. Even developed countries don’t leave their critical infrastructure in the hands of investors to build.

You need to adjust you believes about investments, investors and nation building.

You tried in your points but just know that becoming Venezuela or Zimbabwe don't normally happen spontaneously. It takes continues and sustained bad policies from obstinate leader to create such economic suicide.

I don't wish we experience such but I beg our leaders to be humane and listening.
I don’t think any country can suddenly become a Venezuela or Zimbabwe without external sanctions aimed at crippling the economy or forcing out a particular leader.

We have a stable democracy supported by leaders around the world. Except a group of people has gone around to promise the west some juicy deals at the detriment of the country of which the present government is not providing, then I see no reason why the western leaders should turn around now and go against the country’s leadership by imposing sanctions.

but the problem with CBN waitng for foriegn investors now is:

our currency is selling at a premium low.

there is only one way for it to go, if things get better, and that is higher which will depreciate the value of their dollars.

So CBN must focus on building farm, and processing and manufacuting industries within the country without foriegn investments.

this will allow our currency to soar above dollars due to reduced imports & possible increased imports.

BUT ALAS will our national economists & politicians allow Nigeria to be run like a profit seeking business?
Yes we have to wait for investors but the investors won’t come to a country without minimum infrastructure. More reason the government has been shouting infrastructure up and down.

For the first time we have a government that recognize a pattern to development and has the political will to go after it.

It is left for us to support a government with vision and plan to actualise it. Thank God we’ve dodged the bullet of PDP.

- Naira that is being cushioned on a 2 weeks basis?
- Confidence and they have not flocked in despite 2 years?
- why then is everyone choosing bills & bonds over direct investment still after two years?
How do you expect them to flock in when you have next to zero infrastructure for companies to survive.

Same reason the auto industry couldn’t take off after the auto industry bill was signed into law by GEJ. No infrastructure to harness the raw materials needed.

This is the reason why this government has been shouting infrastructure.

We already have ease of doing business
We are already having stable currency and economy.
The third leg is the infrastructure which the government is already handling. It’s only a matter of time.

If you cannot see the pattern I don’t blame you. You probably supported Atiku. We that saw it coming voted for PMB. Foresight is a gift not given to everyone.

The Naira has never been this stable in the history of this country. For 2years running the Nigerian Naira has been rooted to a spot without flunctuation. This kind of stability is what brings investors into the country with confidence that their money wouldn’t loose value overnight.

The picture painted by UK telegraph is too grim to be a whole truth.

Sure, Buhari has never been any economic messiah both in his past and present. He's cut out in old ways of doing things and he's not a quick learner neither does he listen.

A word is enough for the wise. If we are not careful, Venezuela will be our case.
Nigeria can never become venezuela for 3 reasons

1. We already made it out of recession and are gradually diversifying with non oil revenue continually increasing. Presently standing at more than 40%. Venezuela wasn’t like that. They depended solely on oil and when oil fell and they entered recession, they couldn’t make it out.

2. Our subsidy is disappearing with more refineries coming up that will finally kill subsidy unlike venezuela that has the lowest petrol pump price in the world largely thanks to subsidy.

3. We have a democratically elected government not one bequeathed like that of Venezuela. We have the ruling party in control of both houses so any attempt by anyone to sabotage it and declare himself president like in the Venezuela case will be a treasononable offence and Nigerians won’t hesitate to call for the execution of such individual or group. Except if we still have stupid people in large numbers like the ones on the front page.

UK telegraph knows this but it’s the hand work of the enemies of this country that lost out during the election. I expect More of this kind of junk to come out as time goes by.

This is the kind of people supporting PDP people that cannot differentiate between federal, state and local government elective posts.

All those you mentioned except Akpabio has never been involved with running a federal government until APC came in.

Federal elective posts are President, Vice President, senates and house of rep.

Apart from Godswill Akpabio who was a senator under PDP.

Ibikunle Amosun has never been a PDP memeber. He went from ANPP(under Buhari) to ACN under which he became a governor.

Imagine he even included Ibikunle Amosun.

Ibikunle Amosun has never been a PDP memeber. He went from an ANPP senator(under Buhari) to ACN under which he became a governor.

Amaechi was a governor answerable to people of rivers state and not nigeria

Ganduje was and is still a governor answerable only to the people of Kano state and not nigeria.

George Akume was a governor answerable only to the people of Benue State and not Nigerians. He became a senator in 2011 under ACN not PDP.

Ibikunle Amosun has never been in PDP.

Akpabio was a governor answerable only to the people of Akwa Ibom and not Nigerians. He was elected a senator in 2015 under PDP and didn’t even complete his tenure in PDP.

Before you start humping on threads with your half baked education condemning other people’s education, ensure you get your full education first and know the difference between your left and your right.

My dear,
When you talk like this, you embarass the education you acquired.

75% of the present APC were the backbone of the 16 years of PDP that you speak about.

Almost all the key men in PDP of today - Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal, Kwakwanso, Dakwambo etc were the fibres of APC just a few months ago.

In as much as you see these two as different parties, you are just fooling yourself.

Look at Akpabio he said PDP is an empty basin, he was the yam in the basin, he is now in APC. I remember how he cursed APC.

Dino was amongst the biggest critic of PDP, when he was in APC, today he is in PDP. The man Dino won in 2015 as APC candidate, ran as flag bearer for PDP in 2015, now he was flagbearer of APC 2019, and Dino is flagbearer for PDP.

It's same people changing ship to favour themselves. Using the brain of the youth to play gamble.

#Lets Take this Country Back.

Obasanjo, Tinubu, Kwakwanso, Wike, Ameachi, Ibori, Okorocha, etc these expired milks should not be determining our future.
If you were addressing this to a teenager then you’d have succefully brainwashed the kid into believing the present APC was the same in government for the past 16years as PDP.

Unfortunately for you we are no kids and we don’t all suffer from collective amnesia.

Just name 5 people that held any federal elective post in PDPs 16years and is presently in APC as of today 5th March 2019. Either strong member or not. Just 5.

Before you answer read my question well and understand.

You can start from the president up to the senate and house of rep.

I hope they will give the East (Orji Uzor Kalu) the senate president slot to balance the equation.
SE cannot be the senate president. All their senators are first timers. Only a returning senator can be the senate president. It means they will still suffer the consequences of their 2015 miscalculations.

Originakalokalo:
If APC gets 12 more seats, they will have the required two-thirds of the Senate.... Which means they don't need the opposition for anything...

Let's say they get 6 more... They will always get 6 judasses from PDP.

There are two sides to this coin.... It speeds up decision making.

On the other side, it brings the system to a one-party affair..which has serious consequences.
On one side I wish it happens to speed up development but on the other side it can lead to dictatorship.

But generally I want it to be one sided. By that we can know the real intentions of the government of the day.
