I have a lot to say but I'm not gonna be verbose on this issue.
Oh yes, the #160 is a subsidized rate which the government will have to bear.
Please read well again and get a dictionary to check the meaning of 'subsidy'.... Or ask an economist the meaning of ' subsidized rate'.
Mr Literate grin grin grin
Yes I know quite alright that it is subsidy Mr Illiterate.

So is N36 on each dollar the same thing as $11million?

There has always been debate as to whether the Christian pilgrimage has a biblical basis!
More often the answer has always been a capital NO!!!
I wonder why the government will spend so much on people going for sight seeing or rather tourism.
The Muslims on the other hand have successfully gotten a public holiday to celebrate their Prophet's birth ( which has no basis in their religion too)
Until we stop the act of "copy catting"..... All progress might just be infinitesimal!
Why is that everyone on the front page is an illiterate. Yes Illiterate.

$11million dollars is not coming out og the governments pocket but the pockets of the individuals travelling. Only that they have the opportunity to buy up to a total of $11million dollars at N160 each at $1000 maximum per person.

So no one on the front page is educated enough to read and comprehend. No wonder they say our graduates are half baked.

Awolowo was a treacherous coward.
Bemnjamin adekunle or whoever his name was, was a savage merely riding in the backs of federal troops supported by soviet and english weapons.
He didn't even understand basic rules of engagement, which was why he was buried like a commoner.
Don't worry, i hope yorubas decide to secceed, and watch how igbo soldiers destroy every living thing that moves in the SW.

No such thing as meaningless death when you fight to be free. Go ask the Americans, the Chinese, french and others who fought to have their liberation.

I wonder why its just yoruba who are eager to count casualties. Maybe thats why you abandoned Ilorin to the Fulani. U shouldnt be offended when pple call u cowards.
You forgot to name the achievement of the person that committed suicide while fighting for his right.

Please don't compare the sacrifice of 3million souls for nothing to the fights of the French, Americans, and chinese.

If americans don't count casualties why did they withdraw from vietnam war? Why did they withdraw from Iraq. The Americans, french and chinese that didn't count casualties had something else to be cheerful for. Their freedom.

What does your people have to be cheerful for, for loosing 3million souls.

Being called a coward doesn't offend me. As long am able to stand to piss on the stupid person's grave.

You mention Ilorin. I won't argue with you on it. If you can believe that Fulanis are more than Yorubas in Saki then you would believe anything.

But I should tell you one thing. If we are to fight the war 1million times between Yorubas and your tribe, you won't see draw. Its a FACT.

Dont confuse their inaction with intelligence.

Like Proverbs 17:28 said "Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; when he shuts his mouth, he is considered intelligent"

the Yorubas are going nowhere and they know it. This is just talk to gain Buhari's attention.

The first person to speak secession in Nigeria was Awolowo for the yoruba in 1957 bt it came to notin because he saw there was no way it could be achieved.

- What would happen to Ilorin...the former capital of the Oyo Empire now an emirate of the Sokoto Caliphate.

- To this day, the Sultan counts yoruba muslims who make up 40-50 percent of yoruba populations as his subjects. Infact it was the coming of the British that halted the conquest to islamize the entire yorubaland. Do u honestly think he will give it up without a fight??

- the Yoruba (as much as they dont want u to blive) are never united from pre-colonial civil wars to the 'wild wild west' toga of the western region. And there's always a prominent stooge of d Fulani to thwart the aspirations of the yoruba nation and bring them to submission....Afonja, Akintola, etc

Yoruba are eternally welded to the Hausa/Fulani setup and THEY KNOW IT.
And we can see the achievement of your broda (O****u)that saw the way out of the country through secession. 3million souls sacrifice

Don't you think you need this your bible quote more? I and everyone on this forum does.

Like Proverbs 17:28 said "Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; when he shuts his mouth, he is considered intelligent".

If Yar'adua had had the balls to do such in his time and subsequently GEJ built on it, Boko Haram activity wouldn't have gotten to this stage.

There are better ways to resolve issues than through the barrel of guns. Go and ask Igbos in Ladipo market how far.

Awolowo ended the civil war without a single bullet. Irrespective of the declaration of "No victor, No vanquish" the victors know themselves while the vanquish also did know themselves.

OBJ never fought with the Boko Haram islamic sect all through his eight years in office. Not because they were not present but because they dare not come out with a Yoruba man on sit. Same goes for the Militants. Asari Dokubo can testify to that. People of ODI village in Bayelsa too can have a little contribution.

In that case, there (may) be an Oodua War (2nd Nigerian Civil War, between Hausas and Yorubas)....with millions of starving Yoruba children, death and rot all over Yoruba land....rampage and blood everywhere...but finally there will be eternal love between Hausas and Ibos.....then we will declare No Victor, No Vanquished for the 2nd time in Nigeria's history....and Yorubas will wail on after the war just as the ibos continue to wail
Whether you support or you do not. Irrespective on who's side you decide to fall. If we Yorubas decide to leave Nigeria today nothing will save the unity of the country and no single Yoruba blood will be shed.

Rather we will set you all against one another and fuel the conflict while pressuring to separation.

When it comes to the art of WAR, either physical, Spiritual cold war, or even settlement there is none that the Yoruba race has not fought.

If you are in doubt, you can google the battle called "Agbekoya revolt"

FYI Agbekoya mean farmers reject suffering. It was during the civil war when some people were being slaughtered our farmers were sacking the government workers.

"If wishes were horses . . . ", and if politicians are not favoured for ministerial appointments over technocrats, there are two impressively radical individuals that I personally would recommend:

1. Finance: Henry Boyo.

2. Justice: Femi Falana.

These two progressively radical gentlemen have always championed causes and policies that favour the masses and the country as a whole.

Mr. Boyo is a renowned economist and entrepreneur with unrivalled 'know-how' of how our local economy works.
He is a very smart individual whom a few individuals and I have followed over a period of time -- and I am yet to listen to anyone who has half the clue.

Personally, I got impressed by him ever since I saw him rip apart Tunde Lemo (one of CBN's deputy governors) and a bank chief executive. There are many of his interviews on YouTube and articles online. As well as many articles on lesleba. com .

He has this yet to be debunked theory on checkmating 'excess liquidity' caused by the CBN, a reverse in policy if implemented, could see the Naira trade in the N125-N165 band within 6-9 months!

https://www.nairaland.com/844884/solution-fuel-subsidy-wahala-look

Mr. Femi Falana (his reputation precedes him), is s champion of justice especially to the down-trodden; not precisely a Gani Fawehinmi, but he would sure do a hell of a job in complimenting the new administration's anti corruption war.

Femi Falana at the helm of affairs in that dept., would automatically make the EFCC, ICPC, Police, courts, and judges 'sit right'. Inevitably, translating to better discharge of duties/governance.
These are great technocrats of repute but the first Ministerial appointment of a new government especially in Nigeria is always to settle debt. Withing two years, the President may choose to reappoint new ministers and replace these ones with real technocrats that he wants.

Same thing happened during Obj's first tenure before later bringing on board the likes of Okonjo, Soludo, Ezekwesili, Nuhu Ribadu, el-Rufai etc I just hope Buhari will remember these people when the time comes for new ministers. Most especially Henry Boyo whom I've heard a lot about but don't really know him.

Bro its time to cut your loss and move on.

One thing I've noticed about these stuffs is that the moment you start feeling insecure with someone for longer that 1year then its time to move on before its too late.

In relationships, very little is expected from each party but in marriage a lot is expected.

So If she can't sacrifice little for courtship to work I bet she won't sacrifice much for marriage to work either.

But still I would like you to try one more thing. It would likely produce two results.

If she's tired of the relationship she won't mind and she would let you go(not easily) but if she really into the relationship and wants to let it work she would do anything. This would put you in the driving seat.

Just tell her you will break up with her for these reasons which you can not live if she refuses to change and let her know you mean it.

How to let her know you mean it?

Next time she acts really stubborn, just ignore her calls and messages for 4days or more and when you finally picks her call, tell her you're sorry you can't put up with it again that you're moving on.

If she's really into making it work she'll beg you and do everything to make it work. Even at that don't make it look easy for her. Put her on probation after so mush begging and apology. Let her gain your trust.ll beg you and do everything to make it work. Even at that don

@ topic, its actually a dicey situation but I will refrain from beating my child. The child doesn't know the value of the money, hence his silly action.

I will however explain to him the consequence we will face for his silly behaviour. I will also deprive him of some treats till I am able to raise more money for the rental fees.

There are better ways at correcting a child than simply using the rod all the time. Continuous use of the rod will eventually loose its intended corrective power...
Explain what? To who?

Even a 12years old finds it hard to understand what rent truly means let alone a child that doesn't understand the value of money and the consequences of loosing it.

You don't reason with a child. You set standards and rules.

@Topic
What this woman did was not spanking. This is pure torture. Not even beating.

People need to understand the difference between Spanking, Beating, Punishment and Torture. All these things needs to be applied at their appropriate time. If not it won't serve its purpose. Only that torture is not meant for anyone but criminals.

This single mother went overboard. She reacted instead of responding.

What will happen if the child had died in the process of this torture. She would have lost in 3ways

The Money
Her Baby
& Her freedom

I wanted to add rent but I remembered she'll get a free rent+feeding in Prison.

This you notice the quoted below?

"14(3) of this Constitution:- provided that in giving effect to the provisions aforesaid the President shall appoint at least one Minister from each State, who shall be an indigene of such State."

Again, incase you don't know what the. 'shall' means here, consult a lawyer.

Speak no more over what you are not sure.
Oga Ignorance is a disease, refusing to learn is like gradually committing suicide.

Ask your ignorant mind these questions.

1. Has the president said he won't appoint ministers for the remaining states? NO.

2. Has he submitted two names for one state? NO.

Then what has these section you quoted got to do with the call for submission of complete list.

If truly you know your law like you claim, you will know that the "shall" that you quote up there will be rendered useless if the President decides not to appoint Ministers.

Now sit down and let me educate you because am sure you won't understand what I wrote up there.

By the "may" in the Section 1 of that chapter of the constitution, the President has been given the power/liberty to either choose to appoint Ministers or choose not to.

If he choose to appoint Ministers that is when Sections 2-6 and subsequently Section14(3) and your "shall" will become useful.

If he chooses not to appoint Ministers, Section 2-6 and subsequently Section14(3) together with your "shall" will become useless
now with this lesson go back to my initial post, read again and regurgitate on it.
