martyns303: kuss:If you went to school at all, you will know to cross check and know that it was only an error of original entry. Then you would rather ask me to make correction instead of criticising. It was a misplacement of decimal. N3.427tr |
Reflex123: 40% mtn market share(estimate) x N8.568tr= N3427.2trDid you miss this part. If MTN had disconnected 5.1million lines do you know the ripple effect on other mtn lines. Also the report didn't mention profit it mentioned that people spend. Meaning I was only calculation mtn's revenue. I didn't care about their profit cos they could decide to present a N100 profit from the revenue. BTW fines don't care about the profit you make. It is to discipline you. |
This is no problem. It is expected. When the dollar in circulation finishes, they will have no choice than to go back to the BDCs but before then, the BDCs will have to sell at a cheap rate to attract customers. BTW if they have no skeleton in their cupboard then why the fear. The guilty will always run when no one is chasing him. #FearOfTheUnknown |
And some people keep defending MTN that the fine is outrageous. Calculate N238b x 12months= N2.856tr N2.856tr x 4years (from 2011 of the directive)= N8.568tr 40% mtn market share(estimate) x N8.568tr= N3.427tr If they pay N1.4tr out of it is not too much. #MtnMustPay |

Bbsharon:You're welcome. |
Bbsharon:See. Means he had something for you but the school and the age thing prevented him from showing it. Had it been that you were in school even if you were younger than you were, he would be proud to show you off. You know school has a way of bringing out maturity in people and it makes it difficult for people to guess your age but when you're not in school, people tend to put you in an age bracket that is right most of the times. He still have feelings for you but please don't fall for it cos it only an infatuation not love. |
Bbsharon:Two things are involved. It is either... He loved you. He had always loved you but he was too embarrassed with the age gap and the fact that you were not in school that he could not bare to introduce you to his friends or family. Now that you've matured he is now proud to show you off but unfortunately it is too late for him cos he's already engaged. The fact that he told you the truth about his engagement shows he's will to do some stupid things but doesn't mean he has the balls to call off the engagement. Or He is a player but not a smart one. |
MrPresident1:Am not advocating for total call off but he has to make it look very real that everyone will come begging. In that way he will let everyone know what she does that made him take the decision. In the end she will be so embarrassed with the attention and spotlight he has exposed her to, to the extent that she will be very cautious of her actions. After all the spotlight and a lot of begging, he can then accept to go ahead but still with a caveat that he will walk out at the slight sign of arrogance even after the marriage. Not even his parents must know about his plan. This would've broken her spirit so seriously to the point of confusion. She won't even be sure of what is right again. At this point he can now rebuild her in a loving way that will make her appreciate him better like the guy you quoted said. We're more like on the same page but am only giving a practical approach of how to go about it. |
MuamarGaddaffi:Hypocricy. Was it his idea? Was it not the CBN governor Sanusi M Sanusi that brought the idea. And we all know what happened to him when he exposed their deals. Even if it was it will still be the same story with the TSA if PMB had not taken over. What is the essence of a great idea with no implementation? |
MrPresident1:The only way to break her down now it to call off the wedding in a very believable way. Also going ahead to make her believe he is ready to walk out on the marriage if she so much shows her arrogant side. |
WhoBeThisMan:Call off the wedding totally and let everyone know why you're calling it off. They will beg on her behalf she too will beg in the end you should accede to their plea but give her and everyone the impression that you are ready to pull out of the wedding at any little sight of arrogance on her part. By this, the embarrassment would've been on her and the spotlight would forever shine on her. In other words, as long as she still believe you can walk away from the marriage, she would be very cautious with her behaviours towards you even after marriage. But whatever you do, never mention that the pastor warned you and don't make the begging too easy for them. Its a little bit on the extreme side but desperate times requires desperate measures. We know how to deal with them. |
PassingShot:We already advised that tonyebarcanista of a thing to go back to his alma mater and claim a refund. He's not fit to be called a graduate. Don't mistake. He is quite Imagine a graduate saying criticising PDP for 16years misrule is illogical. Then who should we blame? The ANC of South Africa? Or the UK labour party? Or better still the Republicans of US. |
Raymondluv:Nobody said anything about them forgetting. It is not about them forgetting cos obviously its not possible. It is actually about reducing their revenue generation for a period of time till they pay the fine. It will send a clear message to them that Nigerians don't enjoy their services. |
This one is olds not news. |
Iamthewatcher:From the positives you wrote, and the negative that she sometimes feels inferior to you. Guy if you have the money send her to school and marry her immediately she starts school. If this girl should get an education without you in her life, you will bite you finger in regret that you left her. Just imagine combining education with the positive qualities you mentioned. Last time I checked all the negatives you mentioned are trainable. Lastly you might want to consider choosing the friends she rolls with. Make sure they're not local and they're not spoilt. My token. |
PunkyVeer:This not d lady that said she only dates hairy dudes? |
trapQ:Correct guy. If only I fit troway dia sim. I've been using it since I think 2004. My glo is my private line. Those people are wicked but I've gotten their tactics. I delete their text immediately I don't pick odd numbers except its 180 And I'm careful when pressing or picking up my phone so as not to press yes to their dubious flash messages. |
PapiDShipCapt:They will never slice me. I have two of their sims and the two are on debit presently. That is how its going to be for at least 3months. Except for contingencies. Temporarily switched over to glo. Being making calls with free minutes since last week. I will even encourage Nigerians to borrow money on their MTN sims and if they can afford to not load on the sim at least for 3months. |
peppyluv02:As in en. Those people make more money than ministers cos they're always there. Ministers will come and go but they will remain. Also the ministers only get kick backs and some bulk money but they get the kick backs as well as contract money, frivolous expenses, understated incomes etc and unlike ministers who have to settle Godfathers most perm secs have no Godfathers to settle so they chop alone. |
magneto:By the term product you obviously confused the potential of Nigeria to the reality at hand. You see. All these things you said Nigeria has, do you think the investors don't know? Do you think they don't know that we have everything that can be used to generate electricity (wind, gas, nuclear, solar, hydro)? Do you think they don't know we have one of the best lands for agriculture in the world? Do you think they don't know we have the population to make profit for them? You see. Potentially, Nigeria is a very good market. The oil, the population, the land etc but the reality is that corruption has made the potential unachievable. Nigeria has always had the land, the oil, and the population but what has been keeping the real investors from coming? Corruption. What chased Richard Branson (Virgin Atlantic) out of Nigeria? Corruption. What chased the CEO of Econet out of Nigeria? Corruption. What made Cardbury to relocate its head office to ghana? Power sector corruption. That is a word that can never be over emphasised on. People tend to undermine the influence of corruption. Corruption is a disease no matter how rich you are no matter how much make up you wear, you cannot hide it from manifesting. You see. No matter how good your market is, corruption will ultimately make your market useless. It is what ultimately killed GEJs government and the past government. With all his "good moves and intentions". No matter how good your objectives are or how passionate you and your cabinet members are, if corruption is not killed, it will kill your objectives and passion. You said it won't inspire confidence. How? Like I said in my previous comment, what Buhari is doing called taking responsibility. Telling the world that ok, this is our situation and this is what we are doing to arrest it. E.g. Indian PM: My country projected an investment of about $12billion crude oil deal with your country in time past but due to some bottle necks we could not go through with it. PMB: Like you all know corruption is a big issue in my country. { Indentification of the problem } This could have contributed to what prevented your country (India) from being able to complete the $12billion investment projection in our oil sector but my administration has vowed never to stop until we end corruption. We will only be needing your assistance in the repatriation of stolen funds that could be domiciled in your economy. { Intention } This will enable our country to try and subsequently convict corrupt officials.{ Solution to the problem } By then, your country would be free to do business with ours without fear of corrupt officials sabotaging the deals. { Rebranding } These are the things that inspire confidence in investors. That they know the head knows exactly what is the country's problem and that he is working towards changing it. Apart from these, I don't know what else you want him to do. Go abroad and start telling them about how each ministries work? Or what exactly. |
BADNEAT:Population is subject to argument cos we don't have accurate statistics but on the English speaking, can you please tell us the 3rd largest english speaking nation? |
Some of them steal more than ministers. They should go. No teachers for the new ministers. #ChangeIsHere. |
When PDP said PMB was "Demarketing" Nigeria, the first question that came to my mind and which I believe should be on any sane Nigerian is How do you market a bad product? Nigeria was thrown into deep trouble and we shouldn't create a smoke screen for the world to believe all is well when everyone knows we are in deepshit. GEJ/PDP made Nigeria a very bad product that cannot be marketed A good product needs no marketing. The problem with PDP which is the same thing that got them booted out is the fact that they lived in denial. They claim that all was well when it was obvious that nothing was ok. GEJ lived in denial for 2weeks before finally admitting that the Chibok girls were actually kidnapped. He never accepted that Corruption was our major problem. He came up with the infamous "Goat and Yam Theory" instead. He never accepted that stealing was infact corruption. He refused to see anything bad in Jim Nwobodo stealing N5million which probably would be around N5billion today. Okonjo told Nigerians that the country and economy was ok yet she started austerity measures. She later came out to accept that the economy was in bad shape. That the FG was in fact borrowing to pay workers. The person with the greatest problem is the person who does not know he has a problem or refuses to acknowledge that he has a problem. The first step at solving a problem is first accepting the fact that there is a problem. That is what a responsible person would do. That is what PMB is doing. #ChangeIsHere |
I don't mind if corrupt souls are jobless as long as it creates space for fresh yet-to-be-corrupted souls to be employed and trained to work hard for success instead of cutting corners and stealing to attain success. There are millions of jobless graduates who can be formed and trained for a future better Nigeria. #ChangeIsHere |
deltateam:Hahahaha LWTMB Guy. I love your enthusiasm. It shows you're really passionate about Nigeria getting out of this mess. The truth is that it is not possible. The Naira you print is only useful in Nigeria. Think of it. What will Benin republic use Naira for? No one will exchange large quantity of Naira for you outside the country. We are talking about Billions of dollars and trillions of Naira. How many bullion vans will u carry. Also the more Naira outside the country, the less valuable the Naira is. |
