I see... So the reason why all these intolerance which has led to hate, has continued, is because the igbo's and yoruba's have been unable to trust themselves.

Thank you very much brother... smiley I think I have gotten enough reason to hold on to, when I see the igbo's and yoruba's forsaking themselves, and letting themselves miss a chance to show humanly love to one another.
That simply means If I can make them trust one another, this blood line string of hate, will begin to face destruction and soon complete eradication...

Knowing this, I feel I can provide a solution, if need be.

Thank you sooo much. This really means a lot to me. smiley
You're welcome bro.

The headquarters instructed the Kwara branch to deny it.

Now they have come out to deny it.

All the while EFCC has given an hint of who submitted the petition.

So how did the PDP know a petition was submitted in their name?

How did PDP know that EFCC was actually acting on the Petition submitted in their name?

If actually it was the report how did they know the signature on the forged document that EFCC is acting on?

Politics › Re: PDP Spent N2.5bn On Presidential Poll Adverts, APC N728m – Report by jomoh: 12:37pm On Jul 27, 2015

Bro. You may be right in your suspicion but I think the figure is ok.

Do not forget the report is based on adverts alone and not inclusive of campaign donations and freebies.

Also remember at a point after the postponement of the election, the APC campaign/advert was virtually non existent while the PDP campaign/advert gained momentum. Also if you noticed for every APC advert/billboard, you're sure to see twice that of PDP. Except if you're living in Lagos, that is where you find APC conveniently topping PDP.

Lagos economy was not collapsed in fact it is one of the few opposition states not owing workers salary. Osun is the fourth poorest state in Nigeria but has the largest civil servant in the country coupled with the level of activities during the elections it had separately, it is understandable. Rivers was the battle ground for both the federal and state elections. Money is meant to be spent.

Finally, the state with the most questionable debt is Akwa-Ibom.

It is the state receiving the highest Federal Allocation in the country.

It is ruled by the ruling party, the strongest opposition party has little or no structure in the state.

It was never a major battle ground for the two elections.

So why was the governor owing?

Thank you soo much brother... You really have invested enough efforts into making me understand.... You have made a clear cut point. though I won't say there isn't anyone out there, who hasn't some level of pride, but I can clearly attest to the level of humility the yoruba tribe has portrayed in many ways... Its only natural if anyone who spends their time investing in ... Humility to frown at anything suspected to be the opposite of it. but over here in rivers/ph, there are those who have a level of pride that even the igbo's cannot compete with..."Believe me... Majority of the children and youths including me most times, walks past an elderly without even saying good afternoon intentionally"... And that is what I have hardly seen in igbo land, not to talk of yoruba land... I can also clearly attest to the good attitudes of the igbo ladies, which most port harcourt ladies find it difficult to practice... Am sure you know just where the yoruba's have their own faults too. Now simply put, these fault is evenly shared among every tribe. Even most of those tribes who does worst, tend to be understood and tolerated by the yoruba and igbos. The only reason I can accept, is: there are equally distributed cultural differences, on these two sides, that has clearly refused their co-existence. But as we know it, that's where tolerance comes in because even other tribes has their own share of cultural differences. So If they can tolerate others, who does worst, why can't they tolerate themselves?...... I refuse to mention the war as a reason. We already know why.

So my clear questions is if cultural difference is the reason, why can't they tolerate themselves even when they have encountered and tolerated tribes with worst cultural differences.? **i am only trying to understand a point**
The pride I talk about is not in the area of greeting but the tendency to want to boss everyone and be in control even when everyone is assumed to be on a level ground.

On the issue of tolerance, the two tribes have their faults. The Igbos will always naturally see a yoruba as an enemy for whatever reason while the Yorubas/Hausas will always see an Igbo as a dubious person but the bulk of it still falls at the door step of the Igbo folks cos they are not doing much to allay the fears of other tribes because they stop at nothing and spare nothing in their quest for success(wealth).

In view of the above, once there's no trust there can never be tolerance.

On PDP Kwara State absolving APC of any blame in the probe of Mrs Bukola Saraki,

https://www.nairaland.com/2479441/pdp-exonerates-apc-tinubu-toyin#36297940

I had this to say:

My first comment on this thread is on the first page. A lot of people have quoted me and chorused a common reply that the petition is very apt to have come now, more than 5yrs after Mrs Saraki left office as the First Lady of Kwara State, I dare to opine thus:

All those that are arguing that it is because PMB has come on board hence the proper timing of the so-called 'PDP Kwara State Petition', the corresponding questions are: did he come on board since about January when they claim they petitioned?

Another question, if Saraki didn't leave PDP would they have petitioned?

If Saraki didn't get elected as the Senate President and got enmeshed in the leadership crisis of the Senate and that of APC, would this petition have seen the light of the day?

Many that have quoted the earlier parts of my comment claim that the petitioners deem it fit and most appropriate to send the delayed and near belated petition now because the man at the helms of affairs in Nigeria does not condone corruption, as such, he is corruption-free.

I, Udo dare to ask, is PMB really not corrupt? Could that be the reason he says he will limit his probe only to the era of GEJ, and we say this is not corruption?

This old man is on the brink of constructing a stronghold of a precedence, and we are still watching.
It may be GEJ, his government and his officials today, it might be someone else' tomorrow! [1]

We can't claim all is well with the entrenchment of selectocracy cum sectionalism.

Nigerians, WAKE UP!

Stop taking Nigerians for fools,

#WEARENOFOOLS#. [2]
What is this one saying?

Did you even read your comment? Or are you suggesting he should have been left alone? Cos I don't understand your rants here Mr Udo or whatever your name is.

1. So because he's from your SS he and his fellow thieves should be left alone cos I don't understand why your taking the probing of a corrupt administration personal and muscular.

2. For even coming up with this baldadash and suggesting they should be left alone for whatever reason #YouAndYourCronniesAreFools#

Thousands have died and hundreds still die daily because of the accumulated wickedness of this politicians on the masses. Yet some r€tard can still come online to make excuse for their prosecutions. Do we even have conscience in this country.

Am very sure this Udo of a guy would be struggling to survive, to make a living. At best he would have a "comfortable" income to live a "comfortable" life. And yet he comes online to defend a corrupt politician who has stolen money gotten from his fathers land in village(SS) which was meant to be for the betterment and improvement of his life and that of his fellow brothers.

Whatever Tribe, Religion or Political affiliation, whatever motive or reason I don't care as long as someone is prosecuted, convicted and jailed(possibly killed). Scapegoats have to be made to pay for all this wickedness.

I was never here to know any history of war, and how it fared. As a matter of fact, none of you here fought the war...so there is zero reason to claim or begin to repeat any story of war, to look for the delusional achievements achievement those who fought the war had. Am only here to know exactly why the children from these two tribes forsake themselves and miss a chance to love one another, by allowing the actions of those of the past to use them to exert sooooo much cold hate. Hate that has even been showed here. Imagine you both calling anyone suspected to be from these two tribes satan and goat.... though none of it is new to me, the new thing I want now, is a clear and clean cut reason for it. And pleas e tired of hearing anything about the war, cause you weren't the one who fought or suffered it. So as to feel its dreaded effects.
I was actually drawn into the war thing after I merely gave a likely reason for hatred towards the Yorubas. And I never called the other guy a goat because of his tribe but for calling me names.

One thing I've been repeating since is the fact that they Igbo seem to hate every other tribe even themselves among themselves. This is something I can prove with practical analysis.

Yoruba on the other hand is a tribe that prides itself on "humility" and tends to frown one any little sign/display of arrogance. Something which the Igbo race has in abundance(no offence but fact). Though the arrogance is not intentional cos when you owe your success to no one in particular, you tend to grow a little pride. But whether you owe your success to someone or not, Yorubas don't care. You have to be humble.

Lastly if you think Yoruba and Igbos hate each other then you've not witnessed the hatred of Igbo and Hausa. Just because Hausas are not as vocal as the Yorubas.

Finally the Igbo culture is the most alien in all the major tribes existing in Nigeria(No offence but fact). Every Igbo man is an authority on his own(no respect to any organised authority) cos historically they never had any constituted authority unlike other tribes. Their way of life can best be described as individualism rather than collectivism. This individualism usually result into friction in any community the find themselves that has any semblance of collectivism.

Sorry about that bro but if you study the guys words and mine you will have decoded that there's no cogent reason why he should refer to someone as a Devil/Satan. Same way there's no reason for their(Igbo's) hatred.

They are just wired to hate anybody/anything that goes against them eg Yoruba, SS, Hausa, Fulani and even themselves.

There was a thread I commented on early this morning where a lady was complaining about Igbo guys seeing everyone has a threat or an enemy. Obviously after breaking up with one.

They seem to have issues with every other tribe. If you want to confirm, just have a little issue with one of them. That's when you hear the story of how your tribe has wronged them in the past.

What is this one saying?

The fact that they dont allow gay rights does it make them any less successful than the west. The likes of South Africa that supports gay rights does it make them more successful than the rest.

Don't link success with approval of gay rights or corruption. Russia does not support gay rights does it make them any less successful.

Gay rights is Evil and the devil is trying to make it look like it is freedom which is linked to success.

Uhuru couldn't put it more better. "Let us develop and get to your level before we start thinking of Gay rights. Right now we have more pressing issues than gay rights".

The NATION newspaper is only doing what it knows best (propaganda).Anyone who really wants to challenge the power of the clerk and other NASS bureacrats to make the standing rules for each NASS should go to court.

Mentioning the senate standing rules for 2007 which ended in 2011 is laughable to say the least.

Senate standing rules 1999,2003,2007,2011 and 2015 are unique and differant and each died(or will die) with the particular senate for which it was made.

Whether the senate rules 2007 and 2011 contains similar rules is immaterial. The fact remains that each set of standing rules died with the respective senate for which it was made

So you can talk about respecting someones position but you conveniently forgot that it was you who started it. Your level of hypocrisy is grand.

The fact I don't speak Igbo does not mean I don't know that "b" is not pronounced replaced with "p" so also "j" is not replaced with "ch". If "ch" is not in Yoruba language does not mean a Yoruba man should go around writing "church" as "surs" or "child" as "sild" same way you won't see an hausa man going around writing "police" as "folice". Only an unintelligent person will write the way he speaks if you get my drift. You're wrong accept you're wrong and your lie has been busted so you accept instead of trying to dancing your way out of it.

Why don't you try and understand the word "strategic" first, maybe that will help you get my point but in the mean time let me help you out. Not being strategic that I claim simply means it was not relevant in the grand scheme of things. I believe if you understand the meaning of the word, then you would know that a battle can never be bloody without being strategic. Your Abagana was so irrelevant that it was ignored by historians. In fact no historian mistakenly mentioned it but it was obviously so important to you because you wanted to blame someone that you had to slid it into "your" history book.
