You are mixing up the inquisition with the crusades. I certainly think that most Intelligent people understand that the world was created by a stronger and more complex being or beings. That has never been in question if you have an open mind. Even simple things don't usually just fall in place without effort.

for my sake I hope your wrong and you don't have to end up in any version of hell if yours is wrong. If there is a supreme being it is very likely he is the deist version and does not interact with it's creation. Or pantheism. That makes more sense than a personal God
