When NERC announced that they have increased the tariff of band A from 66 naira to 225 naira, I found the announcement ridiculous. I get around 8 hours of power supply a week and my last payment around December last year was 82 naira per kwh.

This morning, I decided to check the current tariff on my meter and I saw 95.7 naira per kwh.

From my observation, the band rating is a scam. Many customers are wrongly classified. Many are even paying higher than the Band A.

How do you check it on your meter? Enlighten me so I can check mine, biko.

The origin of this matter I'm about to talk about dated back to early 90s and I'll like to say how it all started before I go into what happened recently and how I got entangled in the whole thing.

Early to mid 90s my two elder sisters, first and second were already in their teens with the eldest almost rounding off with secondary education while the second one was still in SS class. I was still in lower primary.

The first one was what you would call dark , slim and beautiful. Very tall and graceful too but the second is oyinbo . As in curly hair with a finely chiseld nose just like my dads families that look like white people. So she was referred to as half-caste those days and this also attracted suitors to her at an early age. When, I say suitors, I'm talking about Rich men coming to the house with cars to see my dad from the church where she was a chorister. We attended Assumption Catholic church at Falomo then so her suitors were mostly catholic big boys but because she was not done with school my dad will always tell them to wait or she herself will turn them down. Our first on the other hand was not the social type so she hardly attracts those kind of of men. Though she had a boyfriend who was a student and comes around to greet my Mom. Very respectful guy. He's her husband today.

When the second one finished secondary school and was preparing to enter school. The disturbances became too much it now looked like our first is not getting any attention. so it felt somehow then as the second will always flaunt and then the beef started. I don't actually know who started the beefing but I remember they fought almost all the time and started keeping malice. My dad flogged and flogged the two of them to settle, no way!
My Mom tried talking to them, no way.

Fast-forward to when our first Borns guy
( now husband) mustered the courage to start coming to our house to visit. He would like to talk to everyone but my elder sister wouldn't have it whenever he's talking to our second born. So the guy began to notice there was a beef between both of them. He now tried to settle them but my eldest sister got angry and warned him to stay out of it. He tried severally to the point where we in the middle had to tell him to stay out of it. They continued like that untill my elder sister got married and left.

One day my eldest sisters husband came to our house and was gisting with the second one and I saw him collecting her number, me I wasn't happy because she's not talking or respecting my elder sister so why give her husband number. I come do small amebo. I told my eldest that her husband collected my immediates number. in fact at that point I was irritated at the way the guy was behaving. If you ask him he'll say he wants to settle them. Who beg am biko. Men? I kuku told on him.


His wife asked him and he didn't deny so she told him to delete her number. He gave her the phone to delete it herself and she did. The guy was not happy.

Now to what happened. my immediate was always blessing and showering us with gifts and all. Meanwhile Iv been telling the first to just let the past be gone and try settle with the second one and she was willing. She tried calling her but the second refused to pick her calls. She told me and I said leave her. God sees you are willing and have tried by first calling her.


Then one Christmas ( three years ago) the immediate came around and was just sharing money for us the younger ones. I also made her favorite snacks well packaged for her and we were all eating, drinking and merrying when the first one called me on phone and, I told her we were out balling with the second born and that she gifted us for the xmas. My elder sister now said she should let it reach her side o. After the call I told her what our first said to see her reaction. She said what did you tell her? I said I just told her you gifted us and she requested for her own goodies too.

You wont believe my immediate elder sister cut me off since then and stopped gifting me things. Like each time she comes around she'll not even call me like before, she'll call the others and for three years will gift them and not give me anything. Those ones will call and be telling me she was around and gave them heaven and earth.. me too I boned. So because I tried to settle them she blacklisted me.

She reduced our communication to yearly birthday wishes and season greetings. Me too I maintain lane. This year she didn't even send and me I didn't bother.

What exactly was my offense in trying to bring them back together in unity and love.?
Did I do anything bad or overstep my boundaries.?

Yesterday, I went to fetch water because we don't have running water in my place. I went with this yellow jerrycan.

After fetching the water, I tried to carry it by myself only for my back bone to make a cracking noise.
Immediately, I dropped the jerrycan and couldn't walk well.

1. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

2. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) and copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".

3. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank you transferred to), and ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK or the d bank u wrongly paid to and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) n also cpd@cbn.gov.ng
& contactcbn@cbn.gov.ng, this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspect's account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened nor will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police, and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

I sell paints and building materials and I use Nomba POS(formerly KUDI),on a norms I dont leave money in it overnight,I move it to my main account. Just last thursday NGN 280,000 was moved away from my account via the POS between 6:58p.m and 7:07pm and no one a
has access to my POS.

On checking the transaction,it was done twice 80K and 200k to Access and GTB respectively,and the names shown on the accounts are not persons I know.

I reached out to Nomba and they said they have reached out to both banks and that they want me to go get COURT ORDER.

Please how much can one get court order?

And will it make me get my money back in full?

Or should i follow the police advice to get Bankers order?
