I bet you don't even understand what I dropped. Sometimes people think they are using words but It'll appear that words are using them. Go and learn the structure of a renga poem and yeah, your last sentence is really an advice you should follow.

Nice compilation judges. Some judges though are too lenient to be fooled. How can a judge give the winners 50 in RR. We deserve that too. We followed the strick rule of Renga. I'm just thinking it's cos they wrote their names on every Stanza which we did but in different way. We refused doing it cos it might stop the flow. Anyways, I pray I'm here next year so I might do better. Thank You. We poled 90.1 percent.

Congratulations to the winners. You guys nailed it but I seriously don't agree with some of the results. The judges didn't get some things right here but I know saying this doesn't change anything but I'll say it. Some of the poems you gave the high scores are not renga poems. Yeah, that's it. They only complied to the haiku's 5,7,5 syllables rule and 7,7 couplets rule. The poems are just normal poems- evoking the reader's mood, having a theme bla bla bla. Any poet can do this. But there are things to note in a renga poem which I can't even find in the renga written by the runners up. Where are the seasons? The moon? Insect? Et al. A renga poem doesn't necessarily tell a story. It uses words to evoke images of the natural world.

So judges, most of those poems are not renga poems. Try to get it right. We are not all pushovers.
