Politics / Who Are The " We Niger Delta"? by josephni12: 12:42am On Jul 16, 2016
Any time in nairaland when any biafran issue is mentioned, biafran antagonist keep saying the south east (IGOBS ) keep dragging the south south or Niger delta with them, with quotes like "we the Niger deltas should not be included in your Biafra rubbish", we SSners are not part of you". Then I ask myself are the SSners or Niger deltas a homogeneous tribe or race?
The last time I checked, Niger delta includes abia, imo, rivers, akwa ibom, delta, bayelsa cross rivers, etc . while SS are Edo, delta,rivers,c/rivers ,akwa ibom, bayelsa. these states contains different ethnic groups mainly, efik, annang, ijaw, ebibio,iteksheri,Igbo/delta Igbo. so how comes one ijaw boy or THOSE ijaw claimers, say SE is dragging SS to Biafra, and they say " we SS or ND is not part of Biafra we want Niger delta Republic".Abeg, Who is dragging who, one ijaw boy claiming he can speak for the other ethnic groups including igbos/delta Igbos. Please all these "we Niger deltas " should stop showing their foolishness, they should pray for referendum so that they can vote against Biafra.

Religion / Most RCCG Regional Pastors Are Yorubas. In Christendom Is This Right? by josephni12: 2:30pm On Jul 14, 2016
I've personally noticed something peculiar to the Redeemed Christian church of God which I am not comfortable with. The Bible warns that we should not give chance for people to question our faith our unity in the body of Christ. In other churches, like deeper life, chosen, mountain on fire etc state and regional pastorship have always been of people of different tribes as the case may be,

But it's not so with in Redeemed Christian Church of God were MOST (not ALL about (86%)). of their regional / state pastors are most Yoruba's in almost every state in nigeria. Is it that the people mostly trusted to be Good pastors to handle that PARTICULAR POSITION are from one particular tribe? This is what is happening currently in our Government. Please, constructive criticism no tribalism.

Politics / Re: We Can't fully Implement The N6.6trillion Budget: SGF by josephni12: 1:18pm On Jul 14, 2016
DEOLINX:
I read Nairaland everyday. I have noticed however that there may be some paid people passing or writing comments on the platform.

I have to come to this conclusion because I don't want to admit that our education system has failed us. Otherwise, maybe want is called common sense is not actually that common.

I read as people praise economic sabotage here as if it is a form of agitation meant to improve our living standard. They gloat here as if Blowing up pipelines will help in cleaning the same environment they claim is their reason for agitation.

Seems to me we are so used to impunity that our sense of reasoning cannot comprehend the difference between good and bad.

Are we okay that our representatives can break the law and claim its internal democracy and that these people have so much they do that impacts our lives that they should be entitled to different salary and tax structures?

Have we ever asked where all the huge monies allocated to the Niger Delta region has been spent over the last 20 years.

Madam Ngozi ,economy guru, claimed that the money released to these region within the five years of her management is more than over 60% of the entire budget of the West African region and further claim the country was borrowing to pay salaries when crude was selling for $70 per barrel.

Now we can't even export, foreign investors are running away and crude prices have dropped to around $35 Only upped by our own stupidity to the benefit of other exporting countries.

Yet, we come here making our stupidity known to the world by expecting the current government to perform miracles.

I think it's time the youth of today look at borrowing some senses and open their eyes and head to realities so their future can be secured. Our representatives are there to represent themselves , they earn huge salaries, drive expensive jeeps and are in the process of securing their future with bogus life pensions and immunity for advance impunity.

This president is not interested in re-election. All i see is corruption fighting back. We can shoot from here to heaven, defend lies and dance as people blow the Niger Delta region to ashes. Has anyone even be coherent as per what the agitation is all about beyond their personal interests?

Jonathan was their for 6 years, what single communial development took place...OK I remember, selected agitators became so rich that they have weapons more than the Nigerian Army, Navy put together....now we are at their mercies.

We lay our beds....we are sleeping on it. I worry for the future of my children. This facebook children have no clues what the real world is all about.

why being one sided there can't be peace without justice are they they blowing pipe lines for nothing? first you called them 5% , you are appointing northerners on key positions and all the other injustice being meted to them. the truth is he that pays the piper detects the tune Nigeria is sustained by their wealth, so if they feel they are being despised they can decide to go haywire, it then calls for wisdom from the president to make sure that he takes care of the people who feeds the nation. what if they call for self determination which is a right, will Nigeria still be an oil producing nation it calls for wisdom

nawa for some people o it's a normal thing to try to associate with people/ things you are not too familiar with, opposite attracts opposite, but people see it every time as inferiority complex, whether black or white the law of opposite attraction is the same. aren't you aware some white fanaticize some of our cultures and traditions.
Politics / Nigeria Is NOT The GAINT Of AFRICA by josephni12: 11:56am On Jul 13, 2016
Nigerians should stop deceiving themselves, Nigeria is not the faint of africa, if you go to other African countries you will know what am talking about. the only thing we've got is large population and oil, nothing else we aren't even among First 10 most advanced African countries all na mouth. I laugh when some Nigerian imitates Donald Trump and say Nigeria will be great. when was Nigeria great?
the truth is northern Nigeria has not helped at all
1) if not for northern Nigeria our literacy rate would have increased
2) poverty rate reduced
3) many people for never die ( there have been many post election violence in the north
4) we would have not been lazy with far work
it irritates me when I hear they feed Nigeria and yet people are staving in the North
British people really spoilt things why mixing coke and fanta together
1) they signed an agreement to become united kingdom but forced us together
2) they respect their citizen's right conduct referendum etc and they clap for us when we kill our citizens
3) even NK who abused them through radiobiafra, they still come to visit him in detention because he is their citizen but can we do that for ourselves.
if irritates me when some on defends one Nigeria a Creation of some white people seriously I don't understand. whether you like it or not Biritian is still our colonial master most sectors in Nigeria is headed by white mostly oil and gas but during biafran war, biafrans produced weapons, refined oil without help, why can't we tap into all that, now one useless person will tell me Nigeria is the faint of africa .spits
Politics / Can Igbos Survive Without Lagos? by josephni12: 5:56am On Jul 12, 2016
Nigerians not just Igbo's depends in Lagos ( to some extent) for economic survival because of the structure of lagos.
lagos is termed as center of excellence (who no go won excel) there for many tribes move to Lagos to excel so also may tribes move to abuja to unite.
even many Yoruba's in sw who are not originally lagos indigenes come in their mass to Lagos.
what structures in Lagos attracts many Nigerians and mostly Igbo's
1) Embassies and consulate offices. Most consulate offices and embassies are located either in Lagos or abuja. Therefore Igbo's by their very nature who travel outside the country a lot would either go to Lagos or abuja to get visa . Therefore in Ten Nigerians coming to Lagos to get a visa, four or three will be Igbo's. but if there are embassies in Enugu I don't need to get my visa in Lagos or abuja
2) international airports before now, if Nigerians where coming back home ( having a large Igbo diaspora) they would either go through Lagos or abuja, but now with Enugu airports receiving direct flights, I as an Igbo man (and many others in diaspora) who would want to visit home to Xmas will fly straight to Enugu then to my village
3) seaport. Although there are several seaports in Nigeria, Lagos is a major seaport in Nigeria before PH, critics would want to jump on me, why don't they import from pH and stop blaming yorubas. Igbo's for sure has majority of importers and exporters and also many shipping companies but why they keep importing from Lagos other than pH is because Lagos seaport has more depth or daught of like 13 m which is the deepest of all presently in the country which can contain larger ships and cargos than of ph, this is why shipping companies would always prefer Lagos port for more profit. ( why did the government construct ibaka deep-sea Port which has 16m depth more than Lagos )
therefore if I am an Igbo trader, with an ibaka, Lagos, pH seaport I will prefer the one of ibaka since it is near my market in Aba and onitsha .
Igbo's are well known travelers, business oriented, importers and exporters, traders than any other ethnic groups, Lagos being favorable to all these due government structures will attract Igbo's more than other tribes. the Lagos government should be happy with this as they make much money from tasking shipping companies, importers, exporters, airlines etc if not for the aforementioned igbos population in Lagos will almost be the same in Lagos , kano, Jos , etc

Politics / Igbos And Lagos by josephni12: 4:58am On Jul 12, 2016
i've been going through nairaland and I've noticed that generally many Yoruba's believe IGOBS ARE RUNNING AWAY FROM THEIR REGION (erosion ravaged) TO LOGOS and that IGOBS CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT LOGOS
the first claim is false while the second claim maybe 20% correct but not for only Igbo's but for Nigerians. Nigerians depend on both Lagos and abuja for political and economic survival as both are center of unity and excellence .
Igobs are not only in Lagos but also in abuja , According to formal FCT minister Igbo's own 50% of landed properties in Abuja. Igbo's are the largest minority tribes in Lagos and Abuja and are also found in multitudes in other parts of the country (not only in Lagos) and the world more than any other ethnic group in Nigeria . In fact, they contribute to more than 50% of Nigerians in Diaspora. IGOBS are the most migrant African tribe ,World census accounts Igbo's as have a worldwide population of 70 million whereas with Nigerian census they are said to be 40 million , then where are the other 30 million Igbo's are they all outside Nigeria? even if those census are not exactly accurate, it is not far from the truth because Igbo's just like the Jews has spread all around the globe and some have blended to foreign culture or have intermarried thereby making it easy for them to remain outside their region. in general, Igbo's find it easy to adapt to foreign culture, environment and language. Igbo's speaking non Igbo languages are more than non Igbo's speaking Igbo languages ,this is because they know for them to succeed in businesses or whatever in Rome they must behave like the Roman's.
this misconceptions maybe due to the fact Yoruba's travels less than the Igbo's and cannot blend as the Igbo's do.
if you say Igbo's are running away from SE to Lagos
1) Why is it that SE has the highest population density in Africa
2) why is it Igbo cities are 97% of Igbo indigenes
3) are those indigenous companies in Onitsha and Aba owned by Yoruba's (innoson and co)
4) Those Aba made ( made in China) shoes, bags, clothings are they produced by Yoruba's
5) maybe those spectator in Enugu stadium where also Yoruba's .
They are running to Lagos to get 2*2 shops, but why is Aba mall the largest in Africa and ariaria market the second largest in WA .
for the fact Igbo's dominate Alaba international market or computer village does not mean they are running away from SE , pls Yoruba's should visit Jos , calabar , pH ,kano ,Togo, Benin, Maiduguri et al and see Igbo's doing great business (including trading) Yoruba's should stop being naive or sophisticated and compete with Igbo's if they can , stop saying deport Igbo's from Lagos or throw them to the lagoon yet they fought to bring them Bk to Nigeria I think it's a mixture of hypocrisy and jealousy

Politics / Re: Niger Delta Crisis: Count Me Out Of Any Dialogue With Govt – Dokubo Asari by josephni12: 1:08pm On Jul 11, 2016
bobchigar:
When the negotiation with Boko Haram failed, the Nigerian armed forces are there to eliminate them. It is not that the Govt is afraid to face the so called militant groups but the Nigeria govt is strategically preparing his case before the international law so that it can claimed that it has tried all the means to reach dialogue with the militants but they refused to embrace dialogue.

I used to laugh when I see this group of people threatening the peace of this country because of the ammunition they claimed to have. Can they have ammunition more than Nigeria Govt? They better wise up now and embrace dialogue before it is too late.

The pathetic aspect of it is that if the govt looses its armed forces the innocents will also suffer.
stop being silly can u fight who you can't see Nigeria has numerous records of human rights abuse from shite to ipob and many more the government is confused only thing they are good is to harass civilians

Same process of negotiations the opposition then condemned past administration.

I'm not a big fan of Buhari but I like his approach. He is trying to do everything possible first to give the supporters of the militants no point when he starts wielding the other option - full military operation.
Buhari that is known would be willing to see a military action take place in that region. And crying may be too late if it ever gets to that.

stop deceiving your self buhari has no approach do you think boko haram is lyk NDA this boys are sophisticated and might have connections international beside that you can't destroy the whole of NDA area Nigeria will collapse do you thinking defeating NDA is easy with all the miliary they are still carrying out attacks . A referendum is illegal to the Nigerian constitution. Any president including Buhari who contemplates it must go through with a constitutional amendment to insert a breakaway clause, otherwise that president risks impeachment. On the other hand, it is possible to raise a military standard against the Nigerian armed forces, defeat her in battle and achieve a separate state. The referendum go hard

but I think referendum is not in UK's Constitution but for sake of peace and how civilized they are, they gave if a try so Nigeria should learn from her colonial master so that peace will reign

check this out

This article is on Biafra and the EVENTS THAT WILL
PRECEDE its emergence as a free and sovereign
nation.
Six noteworthy events will occur and I'll attempt
however as much as could reasonably be expected,
to paint everything precisely as it will happen.
In the first place is the imprisoning of Nnamdi
Kanu. This occasion will bring to affirmation the
fact that Biafra will come to be. There will be
celebration and awesome yells of euphoria in the
camp of the adversaries. But since they are visually
impaired and can't see the handwriting on the wall,
they will go hard and fast to smother and crush
every little thing about him and what he remains for
however this won't work. This infers the stupidity of
the Biblical "devil" who out of foolishness, killed the
Lord of Glory and thus help achieve the rebuilding
of man.
Next after Nnamdi Kanu is imprisoned, there will be
anarchy and upheaval. This is not those general
distress you read about on daily papers or on web.
The considerable bedlam will immerse everywhere,
and shockingly will bring about unbelievable
decimation. All around will actually get to resemble
a war torn territory and will be plagued with rats
and insects. I am not a prophet of fate, but rather
on the grounds that I owe you the truth, I'll say it
precisely as it seems to be.
After this episode, all the gatherings clamoring for
an autonomous state of Biafra will "cease to exist"
for there will be incredible palpitations and
trepidation. Kindly notice that the expression CEASE
TO EXIST has been utilized allegorically.
It is at this phase freedom will come. But first,
there will be a great division. Two groups will rise.
One of them which will be agreeable to Biafra is the
before now "dead group". It is at this phase Buhari
will be HUSTLED out of office, and Nnamdi Kanu
will be discharged.

There will be incredible celebration as a result of
his release. He would unsurprisingly rise to become
the president of the new country afterwards.
After this entire dramatization has played out, there
will be an incredible reconstructing and rebuilding
and correcting. The sun/star will become visible
and paradise will come down to rest in Biafra Land.
These occasions will happen precisely as they have
been portrayed above. You can go and record it
somewhere.
The onus is currently on you to implore God to turn
away the considerable debasement that will happen.
Pass this message to as many persons as you can.
God favor Biafra.

Biafra will come if they release Nnamdi Kanu

The SE and SS declared public hatred for PMB during the elections campaign last year, PMB is human like everyone of us, if any group display openly their hatred for you, it will take you time to get over it easily. The SE and SS also added insult to injury by telling PMB and the whole world openly that they had no regrets supporting Jona.

The SE and SS lack political tact, the northerners who supported Jonathan all through lay low after the elections and started reaching out diplomatically to PMB, even the northerners in PDP presently are always tactful when dealing with PMB. Politics is a game and it could go either way. When its not in your side, you act diplomatically and build bridges. Our brothers across the Niger must learn and respect others even when they do not agree politically. PMB will complete his tenure and when another election time comes, every region will have their opportunity again to show their political prowess. We should stop being cry babies.

so u mean se and ss should withdraw their support because gej lost that's nonsense
