Chiefpriestt: Druggie said that 1trillion has been saved from removal of fuel subsidy but it's all lies. He's looting Nigeria dry because he knows his days are numbered as president.
I could see frustration written all over your post....the Edo people will say doo o.
As much as I like to agree with Reno, he is wrong. You can't compare the both nation. Check the gas and oil reserve of both countries. If you want to compare, compare Nigeria with Saudi, Venezuela, Libya. How much oil and gas reserves does Ghana have. No basis for comparison. Oil ought to be cheap, as low as #100 per litre.
walefresh3: bros dis is the responsibility of the state government not fg . We put somany things on fg ...
State should sponsor their citizens into farming... Provide them every necessary amenities...
Fg can't do it all...
Ivory coast removed subsidy from fuel consumption too...
Many ivorians with personal vehicle embarked on mases transit provided by each state government not even their fg ...
Each state in ivory coast initiated policies on how to curtail the increment in hike of consumption good and transportation...
Such ideas can be done in Nigeria... But we all look up to the fg alone...
What are the responsibility of the state government ?
I think the state government have more stake in dis than the fg himself...
We love to fight wrong fight in dis country because of hate...
I am not in support of any protest... In any part of nigeria ..
And if majority supporters of labor party deem fit is the only option .. I think dey should start from south east first... being the headquarters of supporters of the party We can test the Mick from there...
Maybe after 3 weeks we will join in the West...
No protest in any yorubaland...
It is not the sole responsibility of state government even though they aren't excluded. We arent talking about arable farming here...it's a whole diversification project am talking about. It must be all inclusive and big....federal government, state government and private sector have to be involved and staked...
Imagine, the government can stoop so low to distribute 8k cash...is it not foolishness to start distributing money in an already inflated economy. How far will it go?
Well, I support this. Government should do something....massive investment in Agric, incentive system in agric, land acquisition and seed capital of at least 1million with mechanisation support for anyone willing to go through agric training and go to farm...government have to ensure the security of same. This will decongest the cities, increase productivity, food prices crashing, infact, fuel price will crash....sometimes, I wonder if our leaders even have brain at all.
Have always maintained that the way out of this shit is massive real sector development without which the citizens will live in poverty for eternity.
This is a simple solution. You won't know how this thing bites if you are not the one paying for everything:fuel, food, Tfare, the number of beggars at every corner have increased....
It amazes me that the federal government has done nothing even till now about alleviating the impact of these 'hard' policies on the common man. Equally, the list of cabinet members has not been unveiled. You don't do that except you want to kill your citizens.
Time for politicking is over, they should get the fucking tools and start working.
When gp don turn micro kinkin. Dey don too chop beans. Nothing turns the leg to a dancing jelly more than to go to board and see that you got an "f"...you will feel like slapping your own face
I supported BAT and I also have the right to criticize him. The truth is, the subsidy removal and collapse of the exchange rate bites harder on all especially the low income and middle income earners. If they are fast about these policies, they should be fast about the palliatives too.
I expected the Ministerial list to be out by now, I expected to see reforms, policies, and action plans on massive investment and private sector investment in agric.
What will it take the government to give incentive to mass unemployed persons to venture into agric.
What will it take for the government to give out easily accessible agric loans(minimum of 1million), fertilizers, trainings, allocation of farm lands and security of the same to unemployed youths. The way out of poverty is simple....Agric diversification.
Our governors should be creative...don't give out cash for people to consume and worsen the economy as more money into unproductive activity will lead to more inflation. Rather, give out low interest loans for productive activity-Agric majorly and see how we defeat hunger, unemployment, crimes, and inflation. It's a simple economic policy.
frankson1: It's what PSG wants. They just want to finish his career.
If Jorge Mendes was his agent, this wouldn't have happened.
As it stands, there are 3 options for him, 1. Extend his contract with PSG 2. Accept Saudi Offer 3. Refuse to sign for PSG and sit on the bench for the whole season.
Because money(cash) is one of the worst assets to hold during inflation, it looses value so quick and in Nigeria, salary is hardly indexed. Some people have been on same salary for so long and even when it is increased, it does not catch up with the level of inflation. So, imagine a situation where prices have risen by 100% and salary remains the same, or only increased by 10%, na die situation.
elmessi: Maybe it's only me sha, but personally the quality of football displayed so far by most of the teams at this tournament is disappointing. I find it hard to even watch for 5mins straight. Women's football still has a long way to go.
The way wey Japan take beat Zambia 5-0 like Bara-Egusi....gives concerns.
As much as I supported Tinubu, sharing money isn't the best way to go except the present government is filled with blockheads. What will it take to diversify this economy by 50%.
Bloomsbury: By the way, I was just thinking about something.
Do we have a Cyber security Startup in Nigeria?
Something like a private investigation or penetration testing Startup in Nigeria? 🤔
This isn't about penetration test. It's an inside job, a product of operational risk as a result of failure of internal systems, people and control put in place. Access rights will have to be given to staffs, but to what extent and what can they do with the access rights....who monitors this access rights? What are the processes to obtaining the rights. Does 4 eye principle exists?....the controls simply failed.

Dare is committed to building access across Africa - by linking mobile money wallets to the rest of the world.
This guy built Africa’s largest mobile money hub: with over 320 million connected wallets.
But when he started, he just wanted to send money to his mom in Benin.
Dare left Benin at 18 to school in Morocco and later France.
Dare would get calls from his mother in Benin, who needed money. But sending that money was notoriously difficult.
In France, he used a cash-to-cash process, where he would go into the post office, give them cash and two weeks later it would be available for his mother in Benin.
When he lived in the US, it was even harder. He would physically give cash to people flying back to Benin - the fastest option at the time.
While money transfer was difficult, Dare noticed a contrast: making calls and sending texts was getting easier. And cheaper.
And in 2005, MTN (Africa’s biggest telecom) made an announcement that set Dare’s thinking (and eventually, MFS Africa) in motion.
MTN had announced it would launch MTN Banking - banking users through mobile.
And the telecom guy in Dare realised: If you could move data, then you could move value.
And if data (ie, texts, calls, media) could be sent between different mobile operators, then so could money.
Dare joined MTN in South Africa to launch mobile money across the continent.
And over time, the realisation gripped him, and his vision was set.
In 2009, he left to start MFS Africa - building a layer to connect mobile money wallets with services across the world.
And today, MFS Africa has taken over the continent. With:
📲 320 million mobile money connections on its platform
🌍 Coverage of 35 African Countries
💰Four acquisitions: Sochitel, Beyonic, Baxi by MFS Africa, and Global Technology Partners (GTP) (a $34 million acquisition of a US Company - one of the first of its kind from Africa).
🚀 Raised a $200 millions Series C from Admaius Capital Partners, AfricInvest Group, CommerzVentures, Vitruvian Partners and AXA Investment Managers
But it wasn’t always world domination for MFS Africa.
It took years before take off. At one point, MFS Africa only had $10,000 left in the bank.
Dare's relentless optimism and his grit saw him build one of Africa's most important companies.
Lol, but they entered the market via acquisition rather than building from scratch. Name it, from beyonic, to baxi and GTP.
Andrenalin: Peter Obi is very very wise, he knows something like this will happen, so he sue them on his own name and with lp. The case file shows that LP and mr Peter Obi sue Tinubu and INEC. So if you knock LP out, Obi is there to hold you on your left leg…. I laugh in Swahili
