CharlyG1:Hello everyone, I was going through this thread from the first page and I felt truly blessed. Although, this might be coming a bit late, exactly 9 days ago I woke up to see two scratches on my face and small boils on my hands and face. They have dried up now and I would love to know if it is an attack although I don't remember having any spiritual dream that night just normal jonzing dream. ps: I just started building up my spiritual life. below are pictures of the dried boils. 1 Like |

very through words. more Grace to you. The Bible says should we abide in sin because of Grace and another says the true religion is to remove our selves from the immorality in the world and treat widows and orphans fairly. I think the most important reason why dedicated Christians still fall for fornication is because they are scared no one will want to marry them or be in a committed relationship with them without sex. That is the idea the devil always plants in the head of young Christians |
Religion / Re: Nigerian Pastors And Prophets Compare To Biblical Prophets by JourneytoEL(f): 6:20pm On Jun 02, 2020 |
the same why you guys are insulting Nigerian prophets is the same way the Jews also insulted theirs, the only difference is that the Jews went the extra mile and killed most of the prophets we now read about in the Bible. That is why the bible says, a prophet is not respected in his own home. |

Family / Re: Why Are Some Families So Divided And What Can I Do To Unite Mine? by JourneytoEL(f): 8:53pm On May 24, 2020 |
You can start by creating a whatsapp group for the extended family without excluding everyone. Make it a culture to celebrate and share their picture on their birthdays. Include other fun things like who is this uncle, who give birth to this girl and the winner gets a free recharge card. Little by little their hearts will warm up and they will begin to miss the family togetherness, then you can proceed to having a family thanksgiving/get together on a fixed date. I am sharing from my personal experience. 15 Likes |

I would advise you to stop whining and take charge of your home as the mother of the house. I too have a SIL of the same age in my house. When she first came she was trying to do something similar in my kitchen, I sat her down one early morning and with a stern face told her no one is allowed to cook anything in my kitchen without my consent, after cooking i dish her meals as well as every other person in the house while it is her duty to wash the dishes everyday. When I was done, I told her i have gotten the approval from her brother and if she remains stubborn her brother will take action against her. Its been more than 6 months now and she is well behaved, she now cooks occasionally for the family and dishes out for everyone. As for the gossiping, it is almost normal of girls their age to do so. I will only advise you to give her ideas on how to keep herself busy. You can tell her to pick interest in baking, buy baking items and distribute the buns or chinchin to neighborhood stores. Always look at her positive sides and remove your mind from her negatives. Just treat her as your daughter/sister and love her genuinely. Be nice and at the same time be strict with her. Remember, when you marry a man you marry his family, so she is by extension your sister. Enjoy her stay with you, she won't stay forever, atleast she will relieve you of some duties and help with the kids 6 Likes |

Kobojunkie:Yes na, the sheep in the flock get attacked every time by the devil, but he does not bother with the lone sheep because he has gotten him already. Or don't you know that the devil does not attack his own? |

The same reason why you need an A.C or fan even though there is breeze is the same reason why true christians love congregating with others in the church or fellowship. If after this lockdown you no longer have the zeal for your church, i will advise you to change church. Remember, the wolf always attacks the lone sheep. Church was instituted by Jesus himself (matt 16:18), any spirit that tells you not to attend one is definitely from God. He Holyspirit can only direct you to change not stop completely. |

Religion / How To Be The Apostle Paul Of Our Generation by JourneytoEL(f): 1:00am On May 24, 2020 |
Apostle Paul is one of the greatest evangelists that ever lived more than 1500yrs after his earthly demise, his letters and teachings are still been read by Christians and are still saving souls. He has more letters in the new testament than any other person. This great man lived in a time when christians were being persecuted. He was bound in chains 2 Timothy 2:9, kept in prisons Act 16:16-40, stoned Acts 14:19, insulted yet he kept writing and preaching till he paid the ultimate price. Yet, we who are lucky to be in a generation with less christian persecution and have the internet to reach millions from our homes are yet to harness the opportunity and even do better than him. And that leads us to a very important question, if Apostle Paul was alive in 2020, what would he be doing? - He would have a facebook page where he preaches to people daily and wins souls for Christ - He would have a twitter page where he posts witful and inspiring christian messages that would trend in blogs - Oh, his Instagram page would be filled with Godly images and messages always reminding us that dust we are and dust we shall return to. I can imagine his instagram live videos turning staunch sinners to fishers of men. Plus, IG challenges like #smile4Jesus he would create. -His whatsapp nko, he would compose Gospel messages and recordings and send to people -He would have a nairaland account through which he posts teachings every sunday morning and bring out time to educate those ignorant of the saving power of Jesus -Wow, he will have a youtube page where he will preach to millions from the comfort of his room using animations, illustrations or just his lovely face -O boy, he would have a youtube page dedicated to producing gospel skits and short drama -Wow, he could even have a youtube page for christian movies -Come to think of it, our fav apostle could own a dstv channel dedicated to showing christian movies solely The truth is, he can't do this things because he has ran his race and is resting in the Lord. What about you and I that have been giving the gift to be alive in this 21st century? We can do all these and more. Share in this thread other things we can do for the Lord and why you haven't started doing it . I pray this thread opens our eyes to the fact that we all have been called to be fishers of men (Matt 4:19) and makes us work towards it. Remember to pray to The Heavenly Father for the anointing and strength (ps 46:1-3) to carry out the task you have decided to do. May His Grace continue to be on the eyes of all those who read this. Amen. 54 Likes 17 Shares |

deji85:not everyone is suited for entrepreneurship, that is what many Nigerians don't understand. It takes a whole lot of perseverance and willpower to be one. Some are better off been employed. The best thing is to find her a federal government job, with 1-2m you will get a good federal agency, all you have to do is go their headquarters in abuja and look for the director of human resources or any director in FCC from your tribe and the rest is history. Govt jobs are easy to run and she will surely get paid corona or not. The other option is to open a business in your name e.g Coke, indomie or flour mega distribution company and make her the manager. Tell her she will be paid variably each month e.g 10% of the sales she makes, that will make her sit up 3 Likes |

Godlovesyou28:I thank God for the steps you have taken so far. But, you need to understand that a stitch in time saves nine. Just ask him if he knows anything about his parents, then when you gather enough information from him, tell him you just found out you are his sister. I will advise you to do these things before you travel. It will give you a clear direction of who exactly to ask in your village. Remember to pray fervently. You might be living with household enemies. Visit the Blessed Sacrament very often. I would also love to know the city you reside and your age. May the Good Lord clear your path and make your dreams come to past. 2 Likes |
Family / Re: How To Train The Male Child by JourneytoEL(f): 12:01pm On May 22, 2020 |
Ybaby:I love your idealogy. Let he who has ears hear. There are too many lazy men likewise women these days and it is most unfortunate that their mothers are their enablers. You will see them hustling in the market to feed and house their 32yrs old child. Training a child is not all about beating a child. It is important to teach them financial literacy, how to learn a profitable skill and earn money from it, how to save in a piggy bank and invest your saved money, how not to be a spendthrift etc. By His Grace, i intend teaching my kids both male and female financial literacy, if more families can key into this, i believe it can turn this country's economy for good. 2 Likes 1 Share |
