I was invited for a burial ceremony at Omuo Ekiti, initially, i had wanted to buy aso ebi but i was not having much with, i attended the wake keeping on thursday and friday was the burial ceremony, unknown to me that the man that invited me has warned the women serving food and drinks not to give those witout aso ebi.
i requested for two pounded yam but nobody attended to me, i later requested for one pounded but they jush shun me, it was later one of the woman inform me that the instruction was nt to give those witout aso ebi food.
What a mess!
so i had just wasted my time and transport fare to this ceremony, my plan was to give the man 2k but i left the party in annoyance without informing him...
ordinary bottle drinks or bottle water i was'nt given.the man has been calling me since yesterday but i refuse to pick his calls.

No be new thing. During my wedding, I didn’t sell any aso ebi just color of the day. People ate and ate till they were tired...I even heard some people carried crates of malt home and our budget was for 200 guest, There were different kind of food though so I guess it doubled the amount of guest. The week after my wedding, I attended my friend’s wedding and found that there were looking at faces before sharing food (I bought the aso ebi but I wasn’t interested in sewing) . Na so I find my find my friend,gave her the envelope of money and left the place....almost half of the guest didn’t eat.
I have come to understand that some occasions are like money doubling schemes so I don’t attend.

Marriage is a sacred union and one with much complexity. I often advice that people should go for peace of mind rather than spec when it comes to marriage cos there are countless feats you could achieve when you have peace of mind.
Before I got married, in my dating phase I mostly went into relationships with guys from stable homes...it may sound like am selective or judgemental but this this greatly influences the behavior of people. The few people I knew that were from broken homes had some sort of repulsive behavior.
I believe in marriage cos my parents have been together for close to 30 years and their bond keep getting stronger, they sometimes get angry at each other but they hardly raise their voices talkless of raise their hands to fight...they have never fought since I was born.Now, that sets a bar for the kind of marriage I prayed to have.
When I met my fiancé now husband, I was concerned about his background, family and goals. I put my peace of mind before my spec, my spec was someone who is outspoken, manly, decisive , protective and can spur me to achieve my own goals too. So far it has been amazing

We sometimes have misunderstandings (yes we would cos we weren’t brought up with the same ideology) but we resolve it as soon as possible. We talk about everything and anything ...we are our best friend, we cruise together, drink together , pray together, work together and sometimes cook together. See, perfect marriage s exist only if you reject third parties in your marriage. Third parties gently break bonds in marriage without people realizing it....the only third party I allow in my marriage is God and so far so good, he has been leading us well.

My husband told me to apply since last year, I didn’t. As soon as my baby bump started showing Na so I go apply in January, I asked when it was going to be ready and they told me about the “express passport” (the one you get immediately but you pay additional 12k . I told my husband not to pay that we will wait till 2 weeks time. We went back and they started telling us no booklet....my husband got a connect and kept calling the guy to alert him once they got booklets. In February they called me to come and get it.

Is not too big. My friend gave birth 3 days ago to 4.2kg without tear. And when she had her first child, she weighed 3.1kg with plenty tear. What I know is most doctors don't allow first timer to birth 4kg+babies. Are u a first time mum? Besides scan gives estimate. My last complete menstrual cycle was August of last year, September I had a period of 3days as against my 6 days period but I thought it was my period. October I didt see my period and I tested positive.Went for scan that October and it was showing 5weeks pregnant, meaning my September period is my last cycle.
Fast forward to 31 weeks I noticed my weight has shoot to 92kg which to me was to much for me and the pelvic pain is not here. I went to a different doctor for his own opinion. He directed me to a different scan outlet he trust.
I was scan and it was showing week 37 as against my doctor's 32weeks, Edd of 10th of May nd not Edd of June 12th.
Please who has experienced anything like this and how did you handle it with your main doctor?

Go with 10th of May cos the bleeding you had in September could have been implantation bleeding.

Sorry for the break in transmission
The pains subsided after the injection and everything went back to normal. At 34 weeks, I saw blood stain and was advised to go to the clinic whichh i did, I was checked and they said all was well but was asked to go for scan which I did the next day. The scan was done and was told everything was alright in there and my Edd was 24th of April.

On the 30th of March while taking my bath, i noticed some liquid came out of my body but assumed it was urine. After bathing, I bent down to wash my down below cos the discharge was too much that morning, I tried to dip my finger into my vagina to at least clean the area. While doing this, I noticed the discharge was sticky like cattarh, I quickly wash up and dried my body and was about to go out of the bathroom when something just told me to look down and there i saw the "show" on the floor. I wrapped it up in tissue and headed straight to the clinic with it(my pant was getting wet and had to use tissue)
I was checked but was told the cervix was still closed, I was told not to bother myself about anything since my all my edd was April ending, one of the scan gave me May 5 sef, they gave me cotton wool and told me to come back by evening if the water continues. I went back home to finish my chores before going out again but went back home early cos my pant was wet.
I waited for my husband to come back in the evening before going to the clinic and was checked again but yet the cervix was still closed, I was asjed if I was feeling any pain which I said no and we were asked to go back home and come back if anything changes.
The water kept on coming all through the night with little irregular pains (while all these was happening, i was begging God not to allow me give birth now cos i was just 36weeks and 6 days gone)
The next morning I called the matron to explain situation of things and she told me to come right away, I went and still nothing yet, my husband called her from work to admit me so I'll be properly monitored but I insisted that I'm alright and went back home. I bought food on my way home, ate and slept off with the pains.
By 2pm, I got up, took bike and went out to get some stuffs, by the time i got back around 3_4pm the pains was back to back all thanks to the aboki bike man(I still didn't believe baby was about to come with all the pains) by 5pm the contraction was 5minutes apart, i called the matron, she said I should start coming by 8pm. I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner with water gushing out at each contraction, I finished up and ate at the middle of each contraction.
My hubby came in past 7pm, I didn't tell him how I was feeling, he took his bath and ate. It was after he finished eating that I told him what was happening and he started shaking like jellyfish, I told him all was well and we headed to the hospital. We got to the hospital some minutes to 9p.m. I was checked and was told that I was 2cm gone but the cervix was thick so I was given drip and then I started vomiting, I vomited at each contraction.
By some minutes to 12a.m. I called them to come check me but they refused saying I still have long way to go and they don't want to be dipping their hands inside me anyhow. By 11:50pm i shouted that I wanted to poop, that was when they now checked and I was quickly rushed to the labour room.
By 12:10a.m. I pushed after I've been cut and my princess popped out, few minutes after, the placenta came out and the stitching began. My baby gave me tear while coming out plus the one given to me by the matron. In all, I return all glory back to God.

I thought I'll be back by 2023 before, but with the look of things and the pains i experienced, I hereby hang my boot till only God knows when.
