We had a baby last year, a corona baby.
I am not ashamed to say that at my age, I am still a mummy's boy and she is my number one but I respect my wife.
When I wanted to marry, my wife Never agreed to having a house close to my mum's place.
I felt very bad but I want to make her happy so we moved far. My mom was angry as she knew my wife forced me.
When my wife delivered, her mum came for omugo instead of my mum, and that made her so sad, that she cried and ask if i am a bastard to let them steal her right.
I begged her. She came for naming and left the same day I noticed way my wife was acting rude too because her mum was pushing her.

I'm not happy. I've been trying to overlook what happened today but the more I remember it, the more I feel sorry for my innocent nephew who was physically and brutally abused by his teacher today.
I finished from my school today and decided to check on them. I got home and found the door still locked. So I called and my sis said she went to pick her children from school.
As I sat at the staircase to wait, My nephew climbed up the stairs and said he has something to tell me. He said his teacher removed his tooth. As he was still trying to explain how it happened, the Mom climbed up and took over.
When she got to school, the teachers blocked her at the gate and told her her sons teeth was shaking and fell off. She said she was surprised because she was the one who brushed his teeth this morning and non of his teeth was shaking. she just believed them and picked her children.
On their way home. The son now told her to promise him not to ask his teacher what he's about to tell her and she crossed her heart.
The boy told her that he submmited his exam script to his teacher. The teacher went through his script and told him to rewrite somethings correctly. As he bent and was writing on the teachers table ( maybe he wrote it wrongly again) the teacher now hit his head on the table and his front tooth flew out. He said she quickly rushed him out as blood was gushing out and washed him up. He said that the other teachers saw all that Happened and now tried to cover up.
He also said, the teacher threatened him that if he tells his Mom what happened, he'll meet her in school tomorrow.... That was why he begged his Mom not to ask his teacher.
I told the Mom to go there with the police tomorrow but I'm not sure if it's within their jurisdiction to handle such cases. So I want to know the right authority to report this dastardly act .

1F30M4: Always the first cos you've only heard and maybe watched some videos but never been there before. Mine was really crazy, having dreams where family members shook my lifeless body, crying in the hospital ward. For someone who has been hypertensive from a very young age, the nurses kept telling me not to play with my routine drugs cos Eclampsia or Preeclampsia. Those two words scared the sh*t out of me ngl and there was acute Malaria (++), I hate injections so much but I had to take 'em cos it was gonna have a negative effect on my lil bun in the oven.
When I went into labour, my blood pressure shot up to 200+, I was given a glass of water to quickly swallow some pills just to beat it down a bit but no way, the doctor and the nurses were so scared for me cos at a point I just laid still, they tapped me and asked if I was still there(under my breath, I called on my Jesus to take the wheel). In the end, God did it and I pushed out my bouncing baby(who was already tired btw).
Praying for all the pregnant women all over the world that they will deliver safely in healthy condition without any complications. They & their families will have cause to sing praises unto the Lord & glorify His holy name now and forever, Amen.

When I was pregnant, I used to have terrible dreams. My mum had terrible dreams too and would call me to always pray, she gave me psalms to always read too. I was always going to church so one day on my way back from church, one woman at my junction told me that “God “ revealed something bad to her that I should follow her to a church to pray and I stood there transfixed thinking of the best reply to give to her. I rejected everything and proclaimed positive thing concerning my pregnancy and delivery. I didn’t allow what she said bother me, I told my husband and him being a positive person told me that I should just imagine myself holding my baby. The Saturday prior to the week when I gave birth, I went to clean the church and the pastor saw me when I was about leaving he said he felt the need to pray for me. He said he saw a barrier on my delivery day but God will give me victory. I just answered amen. I didn’t even think about it. On the day of my delivery, labour started at 6. am and I got to the hospital. Labour was progressing until my baby’s heartbeat started running and I was booked for emergency CS, reality dawn on me and I was scared of dying in the process but I recited everything Bishop said during Shiloh 2020 together with the declarations our state pastor usually say for pregnant women that “ my delivery is going to be safe, smooth, sound and successful “ those were the words I repeated while tears were running down. I felt peace and the moment I heard the doctor say he has brought out my baby with his amniotic sac intact, I was still anxious but as soon as I heard my baby crying I started saying “thank you Jesus” till I was stitched up. They took the baby to my husband outside the theatre and after he held the baby, he passed him to my mum and forcefully entered the theatre to check up on me. . He kissed me and was chased away. Lol
N/B: Pregnancy/ delivery needs a lot of positivity and good vibe. Pray , watch movies, read your Bible, go out if you can but just make sure you do not give in to any negative thoughts cos the devil will jump on it. When you think of something consistently with the same energy, the universe will bring in events that will make it come to manifestation.

Rats has eaten some portions of the certificates. I scanned through and discovered that he was,by his Nigerian qualifications, below average. This is the same man that is an internationally sort after lawyer both in the country and overseas where he resides.
This got me wondering with so many questions on my mind: 1. Are certificates really overrated?
2. Does it really come a time in our lives (apart from death) when our certificates becomes irrelevant?
3. Is it not obsolete to measure ones intelligence based on exam performances? ( My uncle would have been jobless or better still a charge and bail lawyer at best going by his academic performance)
4. And why do Nigerians perform better in almost everything when the leave this country? Are we too stringent or is a reflection of our flawed system?

If you write based on what you understand from what you read, know that you will fail woefully or better still graduate with a second class as me. massinola: I will be as brief as possible. I recently opened a barbing salon shop. Within the area I opened this shop, there's this couple living there. The man does nothing for a living. He's a drunkard. The woman on the other hand sells black market fuel and oil to make ends meet.
They gave birth to 6 children (yes, you heard right). Since I entered that street, I noticed a serious domestic violence going on in that family. The man after drinking, uses his wife and children as punching bags. This is not occasionally. On a daily. I'm seriously disturbed. A little arguement and the man goes straight to the woman's fuel and oil and pours everything away.
Even when he's the one provoking the woman, he goes to the woman's properties and starts damaging everything.
The worst is that no body in the street says anything. They all say they are used to them. I'm seriously disturbed because the man always threatens to pour fuel on the woman and set her ablaze always.
On many occasions, he carries huge sticks to kill the woman like a snake. People around always say he can't do it. On my side, I'm really disturbed, because I have seen where domestic violence caused a disaster. I fear that one day, the man might carry out his threats.
Today a serious fight broke out between the man and the wife. The man was beating the last born of the house that's just a year plus like a mad man. The wife couldn't bear it anymore and faced the man. He was beating all of them like animals. Looking for cutlass and 2by2 to use on them. People were passing and didn't even care. I couldn't bear it anymore. He was trying to smash the woman's phone on the main road. One small girl went to rescue the woman and the phone. The way this man flung the lady eeh, that was when I stepped in, collected the phone and told the man that if he tried touching the woman and the children again, I would bury him alive. I was very mad. I asked the woman what he's still doing with the man. Or is she waiting for people to carry her corpse before she flees for her life? The phone is still with me. I'm confused on what to do.
This man needs to be stopped before a disaster strikes. It's just a matter of time. I fear for the woman's life seriously. What can I do to help the situation guys. I'm really disturbed.

Explorers: An eight-month-old baby girl, Kassidy Smith was killed after falling from the backseat of her mother's car onto the road and being run over by another car.
Police said the infant and her three older siblings were unrestrained before the incident around 10.30am, Monday on North MacArthur Drive in Irving, Texas.
The Irving Police Department identified the deceased child as Kassidy Smith during a press conference Monday afternoon.
