You're absolutely correct. Where's someone like that never-do-well of a boy with the handle "jpphilips." Many a time you see some of them trying so hard to arrogate monopoly of wisdom to themselves and in the process disparage others who're by miles better off than them in all ramifications. The worst of it all is that even when it's crystal clear that they lack concrete knowledge about economic and global affairs you will still see them constituting nuisances everywhere with their useless theories... Vagabonds.
The deal has not been totally consummated by all parties involved, but the prospects are bright for Nigeria as remnibi hub in West Africa.
which part of the above is difficult to understand? sorry I forgot you are the !diot!!
Politics › Re: US To Press Nigeria To Devalue Naira - Reuters by jpphilips(m): 4:28pm On Apr 22, 2016
19naia:
You are still too caught up in banter and self grandeur to see that the measure is not in currency value rating, but rather in productivity such as Japan , China and Dangote maintain in high form. You do the search over Japan Yen fluctuations through the past 7 years and you will see that Japan has made effort in recent years to bring it's economy back by keeping it's currency devalued beyond 100 to a $. They were having trade issues when it was below 99 to a $.
Do the research, China was being prodded by the US to raise the value of it's currency after China's economy rose to 2nd in the world. China ignored the matter and kept the yuan at artificial low value to boost sales in the world during economic down turn for most of the world.
Dangote did lose denominated value of his net worth at one time but his productivity was and is still expanding and growing also in terms of dangote exports selling across Nigerian borders where the lowered value of the Naira only reciprocates with better export sales for dangote which in turn increases his income despite the previous denominative decline of his net worth. At one time, quite a few billionaires on earth lost value in their net worth due to the downturn of the entire economy. The productivity remians the same and grows despite currency devaluation. Productivity is what counts first and the currency will follow. The currency is not to be a front seat driver. Productivity is ,and that is what sets Dangote's real value in place as does with Japan and china. Currency is not real value, productivity and resources are real value.
The whole fact of the matter of Dangote, China or Japan losing value due to currency fluctuations, is that every currency goes through ups and downs, even the dollar and pound.
Did you know that the highest valued currencies in the world belong to small countries like Kuwait with low populations relative to their productivity. 3.31 kuwaiti dinars = $1.. and yet they are not as wealthy as Japan, china or USA. Its not the currency, its the productivity relative to population/size of nation.

Since the time of your original tyrade, Nigeria has seen a lot of economic downturn due to artificial currency fixing of the naira to keep it high while resricting the flow of currency in and out of Nigeria. Foriegn investments are leaving Nigeria and others that were to come are cancelling. The latest is the foriegn airlines wanting to pack up due to not being able to take money made in Nigeria to shores where they can spend it on maintaining and purchasing aircraft to come back and service Nigeria. Nigeria certainly is not productive enough to maintain and produce aircraft... Yet. More damage will be done by the prevailing currency policy than a reasonable devaluation. At least a devaluation will allow productivity to rise and that will raise the naira. The current policy will cause desperation which will lead to shift in productivity with gains in some areas and major losses in others such as is unravelling daily in Nigeria.

So clear your mind of intent to insult and banter your way through blind opposition, and maybe you will come to terms with economics rather than a vicseral impulse towards malicious contention for the purpose of self grandeur.
Read carefully your pattern of rehtoric, like most people who view this thread can, and you will see it contains more effort and prowess towards banter of contention in malicious verbal abuse form rather than the detailing of points about the subject matter. I suspect because you are lacking in the subject matter and more practiced in the wasteful ways of banter and verbal abuse. My experience and education in such banter and verbal abuse cannot match you and so i stick to what i do have to offer as follows.

*And the secret is that banter of verbal abuse ,clouds the mind and overwhelms the economy of mental focus, thereby devaluing the ability to really think about an issue.
Focus on how you economize the use of your mind in real thought versus abusive banter over ideas, and then you will start to understand better and make better choices to aide the prosperity of yourself and fellow man/woman/goats/e.t.c

Remember, when you focus castigation at me over the issue of people dropping out of university, it is not about me but rather, you are castigating those who dropped out to make the computer you use, and so many of the products all of us use today. Because they had real productivity. When you show that same level of productivity as the university drop-out billionaires i listed in my previois post, then your castigation of people who dropped out of university will have some merit. But as of now, there is a lot of thinking to do about why so many with university education and self proclaimed knowledge and learning, are as good as impotent when it comes to birthing viable productivity to provide for a nation?
In fact, in Osogbo and Isolo bridge area, there are many of God's miracles called human beings and they are the potential source of all kinds of productivity and greatness regardless of their fortune to attend university or misfortune to not be able to complete university.
I trust that when i can show respect for people under Isolo brodge and Osogbo, educated and uneducated, it will add to respect for myself. The same will benefit you if you truly value self respect and productivity. Even the least of laborers does more for productivity in any economy than the rich man who never lifts a finger other than to sign the profits of other people's labor into his rich man bank accounts.
Thats the root of the issue by far in Nigeria. People who know no productivity and focus more on self grandeur and diverting money to their hands and accounts.

mickeyenglish:
CCT TRIAL; CROSS EXAMINATIONS HAVE VINDICATED ME.

After my last post on Tuesday 19th April 2016, I received both accolades and insults from various angles. Although, many people think my article is as a result of my sentiment and sympathy to d embattle senate president but absolutely NO. My point of argument is as a result of my conviction that Saraki' trial is motivated as a result of political differences among some civilian coup plotters. And state machineries should not be used for their personal political vendetta. In 2014 when FAAN impounded Amaechi aircraft on the basis of improper documentation. We all know that the argument is justifiable enough for the impoundment but due to d political undertone we fought against it. The similar case to Adams Oshiomole, WHY WILL I KEEP MUTE NOW FOR SARAKI ISSUE JUST BECAUSE WE ARE NOT IN THE SAME POLITICAL IDEOLOGY ? I don't want to be verbose and I wl make my analysis highly succinct enough as possible .

IMPLICATION

It is mostly incriminating and detrimental to the hard earn democracy of Nigeria for some set of people to be using governmental agencies and machineries to fight for personal interests. This will make the rotten system to be more destructive than ever. Last week, we all red how Federal government threaten the justice Faratigi to upturn his initial judgement. If this people can change justice rules, where is justice in this nation ? If as mightier as Saraki can be crushed by these cabals, who is u and I to challenge them in future if they push for anti masses agenda? Some questions await answers, Is Saraki not entitled to the senate presidential seat ? Is it a norm to beg for ur right and sell the senate to d executives' ass ?

EFCC IS A DISGRACE TO THIS NATION

The efcc talisman who stands as major witness against Senate President in the trial was making illogical stands. How wl u file a case against somebody before the investigation ? This shows the case is a premeditated one which lacks sincere merit. How wl a whole GTbank wl not have a soft copy of authorisation of his transaction. Wetkas made series of claims without substantial evidences and some Nigerians are still taken him seriously. How wl efcc work on petition of non legally existing body ( is this proffetionalism ?). How wl u investigate pension without visit to pension board ? How wl u claim divert ion of fund without invitation of Auditor general ? How wl u prosecute some one without invitations (first of his kind in d history of efcc). Even EFCC admitted they've never seen d asset declaration form in question and they join the suit. You wl agree with me that, these people are only agent of mischievous because all the wetkas claims are not on d basis of d file against him, WHY JACOB IS GIVEN NON EXISTING CHARGE HIS TOPMOST PRIORITY IN THE TRIAL ( JUST FOR BLACKMAILING ). Now Sahara reporters has never capture the flaws of efcc withness since d cross examinations, is this not news worthy ? They are only bent in demeaning the integrity of Mr Senate President. Nigerians should stop dancing to the gallery. Why Tinubu's Television Continental stop live update of the case when is not favour them again ? Objectivity is d pinnacle of journalism Sahara Reporters and Others should be warned.

All these above stances give a logical and reasonable individual a thought that this agents of evil who want to put senate in their palm are just bent in destroying Saraki career in which they see as threat to carry their heinous agenda. Saraki may/may not have skeleton in his cupboard but due process must follow to prosecute him if they have enough convincing evidences.

Last week, it was justice faratigi that they threaten to upturn judgement. Now, saraki trial is also in d hand of another judge who has been alleged of corruption by efcc. won't he danced to the tone of these cabals if he does want to put himself in problem like saraki ? ( not everybody wl be courageous like BUKKY). This is given me conviction that, they might have written the judgement for hin to pronounce against Saraki even before the trial. If they can sue before investigation, they already make-up their mind. The proceeding is not for justice.

Regrettably, they have destabilised our judicial sector because of Saraki. What is the judicial sector looking all this while to know that Tinubu's pronouncement was an error? What is the better things they put in place to resist future occurrence of such? What is the better penalty for such judge that that averted justice against over 180million Nigerians? BECAUSE IT IS SARAKI, NO ONE IS LOOKING TOWARDS THIS DIRECTION. To worst this situation, Danladi Umah ;the judge will also stand as witness against Saraki, DO WE NEED HEARING AGAIN? EFCC have also been proven mediocre in their doings all this days. Damages have being rulling against them, secondus is a better example. What are the turning our system to all because of Saraki?
In conclusion, all Nigerians should come out to support the independence of the National assembly. We should clamour to rescue our country from the hands of a few oligarchy. If they have problem with Saraki, let them fight him with the power in their jurisdiction not to be bastardising the Nigerian system. I stand not for Saraki but Justice.

EXPLOSIVE: Why The Generals Endorsed Buhari - Ngozi Okonjo Iweala
15 hrs ago News
By Ngozi Okonjo Iweala

Why am taking a swift from supporting General Buhari.

Obasanjo endorsed General Buhari as the man to deliver this nation. I was personally shocked, when I heard the news. This is because, I was expecting Baba to stay at the touch line, and leave Nigerians to study his body language. But the masquerade could not control his dance in the public market. Hence he mistakenly flogged his own mother who is also a trader in the market.

Nigerians, I am left with no option than to tell us that, these ex-generals and their boys are up to something. The issue at hand is not all about the presidential seat. But rather, the national cake (oil blocks).

Less I forget, is it not the same Obasanjo who woke up and hand picked his puppet 2011, who eventually grew like Joseph the messiah of Egypt? Is it not the same Obj that told us 2011, that General Buhari is too old to rule this country? Is it not the same Obj that told us Buhari is a dictator?

Somebody should have a rethink like me. We must understand the preacher's language before decoding his message. If Obj can take a swift and prefer General Buhari to Jonathan, a puppet he dedicated his energy and resources to win 2011 election, then as an average Nigerian, we should have a rethink and ask our leaders what is so special in Aso Rock.

If leadership is to serve the people, why is it that, the ex-generals finally gang up against their new recruit on account of change? If we're to outline the sins of Mr.President, are the ex- generals not guilty of such sins? One may ask why is SPEAKER taking a swift? Everybody wants change.

But I am astonished the way and manner these ex- general joined the train of change. Is it that, this is the first time they heard the word change? If NO, why did they not change this country when they were given opportunity?

Why advocating for change now when the puppet body language shows he Will not renew their oil blocks licence? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet purchased equipment to monitor and reduce vandalism? Why advocating for change now, when the strong headed puppet wiped out their ghost names from the civil service pay roll?

Why advocating for change now, when the puppet sacked your boys as corrupt ministers? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to dump Sambo for another puppet? Why advocating for change when he refused to kill Nigerians indiscriminatel y. But rather he is exploiting all means of dialogue. Unlike your Odi brutal killings and destruction.

Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to twist governors hands with EFCC to pave his way like you did? Why advocating for change now, when at 72 years, you still tell your children of 50years they are the leaders of tomorrow? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to give you the fertilizer deal?

Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to jail your enemies? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to rig election for your daughter? Why advocating for change now, when in your time railways were not working? Why advocating for change, when in your time, our judiciary could not delivered a fair judgement in favour of oppositions?

Baba,Nigerians are fed up of you sitting in Otta, deciding their future. We want to decide our destiny with the help of God. We want to practice true democracy by using our votes to decide our future. Let the good works or antecedents of our leaders speak volume for them. Just after the presidential chat with Mr.President, we discovered that, you, your colleagues and errant boys, are spreading false informations to pave your way to aso rock.

Lastly, I challenge you Baba, #Tinubu, #Atiku and others to tell Nigerians you don't have oil blocks or you Generals are not fighting the last battle to protect your oil blocks. They won't come out and speak my brothers and sisters. They want us to believe they are fighting for us. When they have their own local refineries at their backyards. R..I.P Fela: Animals wan dash me my human right.

1) The scarcity of the dollar is not caused by the rate so devaluing doesn't solve the scarcity, rather it would push the black market rate up further.
2) We really don't export anything so the idea of our goods being cheaper is economic theory.
3) You need to understand that foreigners that are calling for devaluation are doing it in there own interest not because they like us?

I don't know who is advising President Buhari but his insistence on not devaluing the Naira to reflect present reality is one decision he would live to regret. The false sense of value we are giving to the naira is not helping anybody neither is political consideration more important than the economy. The suffering we would experience through devalued naira won't be compared to the hopeless situation we are now. in fact, if the country is pragmatic enough, the devalued naira policy would turn to be a blessing.
You can save it for the next PDP government, if at your age you can not list the benefits of devaluing the Nigerian currency

Politics › Re: Behind The Agitation For Biafra by jpphilips(m):
At the end of the war, the government of Gowon exchanged the deposits of Igbos in the banks prior to the war for not more than twenty pounds per depositor. Also in pursuance of the administration’s reconstruction agenda, Gowon did his work in Lagos despite the fact that the war was fought in the Eastern region.
The declaration of Biafra was an act of war, Igbos lost and they were made to pay for the war, whether or not it is morally justified is subject to the moral barometer of events at the time, you may study the terms of the Versailles treaty to understand what happens to nations who cause war and lose in the end.

Another area to look at is the creation of states – from the four regions of Eastern, Mid-Western, Northern, Southern in 1963, to 12 states 1967 by General Yakubu Gowon; to 19 states in 1976 by General Murtala Muhammed; to 21 states in 1987 and 30 states in 1991, by General Ibrahim Babangida, and to 36 states in 1996 by Gen Sani Abacha? In the current composition, the North has 19 states representing 52.7 per cent; the then Eastern has nine or 25 per cent, the then Southern has six or 16.6 per cent and the then Mid-Western has two or 5.5 per cent. Senatorial constituencies, which are allotted three to each state, further shows the skewed power structure in favour of the Northern region.
While the state allocation is totally unfair and unacceptable to the igbo race, it is unfair to fix culpability on the Northerners who created the states rather, culpability should be fixed on the person who gave the northerners the legal power to rob igbos of adequate representation of statehood, you may do a further reading on decree 34, who promulgated it and the position of igbos in the then regional government.
You don't blame the man who pulled the trigger but the man who provided the gun, in this case, it was an igbo man, why are you not crying to scions of Aguiyi ironsi?

Like the allocation of resources in Nigeria, the allocation of opportunities is also along this flawed structure. Most people from the then Biafra lost years of schooling as a result of the war that was fought on its territory but the Nigerian government did nothing to cushion the effect of this loss. It instead promulgated the federal character policy that supposedly intended to give equal opportunities to the states arbitrarily created by the northerners as against the constitutionally created regions.
Ojukwu would have thought about that before starting his agitations same way IPOB hasn't thought their plans through

Prior to these appointments, Buhari had hinted on his anti-Southeast stance as he promised to favour only the regions that massively voted for him, using the commonwealth, hugely generated from the Southeast. And to further justify the Buhari’s stance, John Odigie-Oyegun, the national chairman of the APC condemned the Southeast region for voting the candidate of their choice, saying that they committed a political blunder “putting all their eggs in one basket”. The Southeast still await Buhari and Oyegun to explain if Buhari is the president of only those regions who voted for him.
Do you reap where you did not sow? The same Igbos who ostracized Rochas for Joining APC? same Igbos whose APGA refused to join the APC merger, APGA that could not provide its own presidential candidate, never mind that Rivers in APC has not won anything election wise, it is either you are politically naive or inherently dumb.
Why didn't you ask APC to give you the presidency? why are you stopping at appointments? perhaps even ask for VP slot, guess you guys are not even ambitious, ask for the VP slot and presidency if you are serious.

In the meantime, the exploited people ask to be allowed to go to where they will be better treated. They organised themselves and conducted themselves in a manner that should be commended, doing their peaceful protests and the government of the day labels them miscreants, secessionists, and now, terrorists and keeps threatening them. It hounds them into prisons in the most unconstitutional way, denying them bail, even in disobedience of a court ruling.
Historically, Biafra has simply been a response of the oppressed, not an agitation for preferential treatment. It is a call to Nigeria to redress the injustices against a people or let them go. Biafra is an acknowledgement of oppression and a pointer to a haven for the oppressed, irrespective of where they come from. The reason Biafra keeps recurring in the Southeast is due to the fact that this same people have been the victims of deprivation throughout the history of independent Nigeria. The level of socio-economic development you could see in the region today was as a result of the individual and collective industry of the Igbo people; no serious contribution from the federal government.
How peaceful is a protest that obstructs federal highways with burn fires?? Perhaps you need to go back to school to learn better choice of words, just an advise.

The best the Buhari government could do is to be courageous and seek ways of redressing the injustice against the people of the Southeast instead of the cowardly denial of the issue and hoping the problem will go away with threats upon threats. The least it could do if it does not want to redress this injustice, on the other hand, is to conduct a referendum to know the popular stance of the people and act accordingly. A stitch in time saves nine. The Biafra agitation has been nothing but commendable – no violence, no molestation, no disruption of the public peace – just peaceful protests. It contradicts the fixation that every Biafra is a call for war.
There is nothing for buhari to address, igbos need to come up with a better agenda not one of political irrelevance, you want Buhari to conduct a referendum for you? are you sure you finished secondary school? other countries that observe referendum like the UK will conduct one in june/July are they doing it by presidential Fiat or a constitutional requirement? i'm sick of reading from under educated !diots roaming the Nigerian cyber space.
Muhammadu Buhari is your president, head of the executive, referendum is a legislative apparatus, don't you know the difference?
Why didn't you ask Jonathan to give you a referendum or you were on admission in a mental hole during his 6yrs reign?
Enough!! go get a job.

It is indeed a massive slight on the ethnic peoples of the Niger Delta, that the President of the federal republic of Nigeria dares equate a legitimate struggle for better living conditions which the state has woefully failed to provide for a people who have, ironically, been directly and indirectly impoverished by the actions of the same state, to the actions of a rag tag band of visionless extremists.

Indeed, Isaac Boro was a visionary!
You think those guys give a damn about the living conditions of their people? How much have we paid in Amnesty so far? how many blocks have the militant leaders moulded?
Where is thy brain oh ye philistine?
Politics › Re: The Niger Delta Avengers Dares Buhari, Vows To Cripple Nigeria's Economy by jpphilips(m):
As proof of the Niger Delta Avengers potency, the group cited the visit of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State to the Forcados Terminal, where they inspected the SPDC 48 inches export pipeline, which it claimed to have blown up. "They never cared to see for themselves what the natives (Ogulagha people), the host community, are going through in the hands of SPDC as a result of the oil and gas exploration for decades. Ogulagha community is just one such case across the Niger Delta," the statement added.
This is what happens when you negotiate with clandestine groups than annihilating them, how do we get a refund of all we spent on Amnesty so far?
Since the carnage at the Forcados terminal(a critical national asset), Angola has over taken Nigeria as the biggest oil exporter in Africa, I have no doubt the potency of your actions, if you don't mind, let us dissect the consequences of that action.

You guys mentioned Ogulagha community, one that I am very familiar with, how does blowing up a pipeline and releasing over 100,000bbls of crude into the Eco system help Ogulagha community?

The disruption of oil sales, will reduce Nigeria's Forex earnings which will lead to a further weakened naira, how does that help Ogulagha community? because even the community chief will be shocked how much the exchange rate will be in the coming weeks, no thanks to the madness perpetrated by the so called Avengers.

Perhaps you should try bombing a gas pipeline and enjoy the heat generated by the inferno, that will likely throw Ogulagha into darkness, guess what? Ogulagha is your home, the politicians are in Abuja. if you do not understand this analogy, ask the North East.
How about the cost of living after wards? How much is Sachet water selling in Ogulagha community today, 40 naira, how did you help Ogulagha by pushing it to 60 naira in the coming months?

With hundreds of barrels in the river, it is bye bye to fishing for Ogulagha, how does that help them either?

The two refinery feedstock lines that was blown up recently is the reason we have not had petroleum products for two months now, how much is it selling for in Ogulagha community? 600/liter as at last week, how does that help them? I could recall vividly that President Buhari fixed those lines sometime in december last year.

All the community labor in forcados, servicing companies, communities who benefit from FTO payouts are all at home no work no pay, how does that help them?
Let me quickly tell you the reasons why free amnesty money or any form of settlement will not fly, this government is broke hence nothing to give to you, Mr president was a decorated soldier hence not used to negotiating with r@trads, let me advise you guys for free,
It is only a f00l that defecate in his source of drinking water.

The president has three years to supervise your suffering or 7yrs if he so wishes, the bad news is that absent your SS votes, he got the presidency anyways, imagine what will happen if your actions directly translate to suffering for the whole country, it will be the trigger for an overwhelming win for Mr President in the next election, it will be clear that you guys deliberately sabotaged his efforts, it is a lose lose situation for all.

Ogulagha community will be so proud of you in few months time, let the suffering begin!!

Politics › Re: Why We Must All Support The Grazing Bill For The Fulani's by jpphilips(m):

The fulanis are your brothers. stop been a bigot
It is not about brotherhood, it is about equity and fairness, I will start with what I support to what I don't support.
Let us start with the violence that necessitated the bill, the nomads roam into a vegetable farm, perhaps all the produce is not worth up to 50k, what do they do? instead of seizing the cattle and negotiating with the nomads they will kill the cattle, now tell me, how is that fair? you lost 50k and you slaughter 250k, because the Fulani herdsmen are outnumbered, they retreat and return with a reprisal according to the Justice Joseph Gbadeyan Judicial Commission of Inquiry.
I have seen where they gave a cattle to a group of farmers who they destroyed their farms because of the farmer's approach, in other communities, they would have slaughtered more than they lost.
Do you burn down the vehicle that hit your car? even the one that knocked down your child, do you burn down the vehicle? that is exactly what the so called farmers do and expect us to sympathize with them.

There is no amount of damage that can not be negotiated, from the one I witnessed, the nomads did not own the cattles, rather, they had to call an Alahaji who reviewed the terms before agreeing to the deal, how many communities have approached it this way? Never!! but they are the first to run to the media to scream massacre, the twist to this part is that according to Justice Joseph Gbadeyan Judicial Commission of Inquiry, the nomads don't come to the village to kill people, they are coming to destroy your properties as you destroyed theirs (cattle).
A herd of 4 cattle of 250k is 1m, what is the worth of a farmer's house? the farmer becomes a victim when he tries to protect the house.

The so called grazing fields are no solution either, will you allow the government to assign your family house to Dangote to build a warehouse? if your answer is no, then the proposal is as dumb as the person who drafted it.
According to the land use act of this country, the ownership of land is vested solely on the government, but under some certain terms of compensation, the big question is; why will the government use taxpayers money to satisfy the business of a microscopic few?

I think the best solution is for the federal ministry of Agriculture to do their Job, they should not always concentrate on sharing fertilizers as if that was the sole aim of setting up the ministry, the cattle rearers on a commercial scale must be registered and there should be requirements for the registration, if you don't have grazing fields, you have no business raising cattle. One may downgrade to goat or sheep till he is ready.
Who is

Dept of Pet resources does not sell products to everybody, you need a DPR license before you sell petroleum products same with other monitoring agencies, why will herdsmen not be registered? I see a herd of 50 cows, multiply by 250k or 300k (depending on size), 12.5m is higher than the investment capital of most people who meet government requirements for their businesses, why not the herds men?

Finally, Nigerians don't seem to know the difference between a nomad and a rustler, just like most Igbos think that Berom people are northerners grin, I laugh when I hear ignorant people who say nomads wield Ak rifles, as a matter of fact, the riffle is meant for the nomad who is expected to lose his cattle to them, because the cattle was stolen, they will never use the normal nomadic route for fear of being spotted, hence they pass through your farms, those ones are not different from any other armed robber you have met, so the Fulani behind it is misleading.
How many Armed robbers do we know their nationalities? why do we need to know the region rustlers come from?
I will not advise my enemy to negotiate with those.

By registering them and allowing them to provide their own private ranch will make them taxable in the long run.

Its normal not even Nigerians wont develop Nigeria without collecting something in return.
The Last fvcktard that claim to have an answer to a weak naira, asked the FG to give him a portfolio (in a ministry of parallel market grin) to make 200 naira equal 1USD, the same Nigerians welcomed him a hero, today, they don't believe China will gain something.
retards won't you say?

most of us need to study and understand international economic and politics, some zombies are jubilating that this administration has attracted deals with Chinese government worth $6 billion dollars to develop Nigeria infrastructure and Manufacturing company to diversify the Nigeria economy.

Noted that Nigeria is one of the biggest China exporting country and the Chinese will never jeopardize with any deal that is a threat to their market.

the Chinese knows how to play this type of politics, and they will never implement any deal that has anything to do with diversifying the Nigeria economy.
You are very right, MOF, a foreign tabloid expressed the same fear, the outlook is better for China in the long run, China knows that we are running out of FXR which guarantees imports in the first place so it is a two pronged gain for China.
Allow Nigeria to expand their FXR, import from me for the next 10yrs when it will be certain Nigeria will either run out of FXR (worse case scenario) or develop her manufacturing base.
OR
Develop Nigeria's infrastructure, tie down their PPP component for the next 25-30yrs, bros, every idiot will think long term and that is exactly what China is doing, so yes, it is in their interest to help Nigeria to develop her infrastructure, so long as they will be collecting toll on the second Niger bridge till 2041.
On a more cynical flip side, Divesting Nigeria will guarantee a bigger FXR which is what we need to patronize Chinese imports, so either ways you look at it, China is a gainer. Nigeria isn't losing either, if you don't want the bridge or the power plant, who stays in darkness, China?

Iran pulling out has made a mess of the deal, Iran is injecting 3.8mbbls in the market, a significant amount that mere production freeze may not be able to annul, Iran is Saudi's worst adversary in the middle east so there is nothing Saudi will love than Iran taking a beat with them, sadly, Rouhani made good his threat.
Perhaps the world should wait till Iran is broke to reconvene, but getting Russia on that negotiating table again will be very difficult, this is one great opportunity lost to "rivalry in Allah".
Wonder what Kachikwu will be thinking now, I feel sorry for him, great effort, wasted.

Vision 20-20

PDP took over government in 1999 when Nigeria was 94th highest Economy in the World and left it in 26th position in 2015.

The vision is realizable within the next five years.

PDP eradicated polio, ICT penetration from 0.2% to over 60%, and a new contributory pension scheme now with trillions of Naira in pension fund

The capitalization of the Nigerian Stock Exchange grew from less than N1 trillion to N12 trillion as at handover.

Jonathan/PDP reduced Poverty by half
Jonathan left 12000Mw power capacity.
Jonathan's agricultural policies were fruitful.
If Jonathan came anywhere close, he will still be president
