walcolm: you're just another brainless troll. you cannot even string together a logical story....how many people buy the overpriced phones the carriers are selling?because you are so broke that you soak garr! 3 times daily makes it over priced abi? do you know how many companies that distribute and maintain it for their staff? what do you even know? not to worry, God wey do am for them go do am for you very soon, say "AMEN". over priced indeed. Our Network operators sell those phones more than they sell bundles to your second hand BB phones. anyways the logic wont make sense to you because 1 you were still in primary school when MTN launched their 2g network. 2 you think the phones are over priced forgetting that MTN never starts an innovation targeting ordinary individuals. you chose to forget that when MTN launched their 2g Network, a SIM pack sold for 50k, and the least recharge card was 750, did you think it was meant for a plebeian like you? when your father's minimum wage was a paltry 7,500naira? if MTN abinitio targets corporate institutions with their innovation, what makes you think they have changed now? NB: though i quote you to make my point, i am not really talking to you, i am only creating an awareness that one day, NCC should consider fixing it when they wake up from Coma. if you seriously think you can argue with JP philips then, you can as well think of having s@x with Mitchel Obama, if the symptoms persists, please see a doctor. |
amaba: ACN is no different from PDP. I personally think they are worse cos they r bunch of pretenders. I vote based on the personality and credibility of the person and not party affiliation.please the Amaechi and Goodluck part should be esponged from your list. Amaechi conned us during his first tenure because of his issues with Omehia, since he received our Mandate, he has returned to coma. no electricity, no roads in portharcort. it doesn't even seem like Rivers has a governor. I am just waiting for the News that he is hospitalized in saudi Arabia to confirm my fears. About goodluck, lol, that one did not even know where the bayelsa Govt house was, through out his tenure, he operated from a guest house, lol. Ngige is ok, but i fear he may fall back like Amaechi, rem he performed under pressure. Gov jang, lol, Gov or local Govt chairman? Gen yaradua? the Amnesty brain child and the man with 7 point Agenda, may his soul rest in peace. with these exceptions, your list is brilliant |
@ pr001 Now, I have very little tolerance for oafs. Since your 'common sense' rests heavily on the idea that Aristos cannot take girls to their homes, then it is clear that you're a buffoon with no real world experience or exposure. I should not condescend to your ignorant level. Who says it must be a matrimonial home? Do you know how many personal houses many of these rich men have all over the place? Even young well-to-do guys my age rent alternate apartments other than their primary residences to use as 'slaughter' house for girls. I personally know a few of such men myself who have several houses, some of which they use as weekend getaways and 'slaughter' houses. You're a fool of unfathomable proportions to believe that Aristos must necessarily take girls to hotels for them to qualify as such. Does this foolish argument suggest common sense to you?how many houses do rich men have allover the place please tell us? each time i have need to visit the east, i always prefer staying at owerri, i book my hotel 3 to 4days ahead, do you know why? because you hardly get a descent accommodation weekends at places like owerri and calabar weekends, i believe it should be same for most major cities in Nigeria. so if we go by your quasi logic that every "Aristo" maintains a get away house, who are the people that occupy these hotels every weekend? ghosts? the Get away homes are options but you are only presenting a microscopic few from the whole lot and wish to pass it on as a majority, that is plain stup!d in my books. conduct a poll of Aristos that flex weekends at Getaway homes vs Aristos in hotels, then come and sell me this crap. do you even know that people that afford these get away homes still maintain private suites in hotels? which is more convenient? a get away home where you maintain, cook and prolly sanitize and a hotel where everything is done for you? most Aristos worry about being spotted in hotels, but they are smarter now, they go to outta city hotels, not just popular places where they can be spotted. i know a lot of married men that maintain mini flats for their girlfriends but it is not enough to assume that all "Aristos" do that, it is dumb, what about Aristos with strings of girlfriends? you hire cribs for all of them? are you ok? REM. the only info we have on the venue is that it is a private home which in my books, there is an 80% chance the boy is her boyfriend, unless we hear other accounts that suggest otherwise. I really wasn't my intention to argue over nonsense with kids who shy away from the truth. The fact remains that it would take a certain kind of woman of extreme virtue and nonnegotiable honour to fight with ARMED men and die in the process rather than allow herself to be Molested. This is NOT something our average naija babes (who are already promiscuous with illicit premarital sex) would consider sensible or worthwhile. After all, why die 'protecting' something that I consider no big deal anyway? This is why I doubted the veracity of the claim and called for further investigation in my initial post.this paragraph of urs is more dumb than our "umbllera" first lady. you continue accusing her of being a wh0re yet you cant prove it. even if there is a 20% chance she is, you think that paying her for sex is same as raping her? re you sure you are ok? have you tried fvckin Ashawo without payment? if you have, then you will know that wh0re pvss!e still reserves some dignity. no need calling you a fool because you have proved it beyond every reasonable doubt. NB: though i quote your posts to respond, you are too r@tarded to be engaged in a reasonable argument (my i am only giving this perspective to may be parents that grow paranoid with stories like this. when i was in school, a friend of mine was claiming he was a medical student to be able to court a girl. one day the girl visited but wasn't feeling strong but assumed she was in the safe hands of a 600l medical student. the next morning, the girl died, the only thing that saved that boy in court was that 1 the girl was not alive to testify that the boy lied that he was a medical student 2 the autopsy report did not show any sign of unconventional drugs but only asprin, no hassle, no s@m@n these kinda stories happen everyday, the proliferation of the internet and the quack Nigerian media make so much Ado out of nothing. i know you are not mentally sound but the doctor was right when he said "one tab, 2 times daily", now you have taken "3 tabs, 5 times daily". now see what drug over dose can do. wishing you quick recovery!! |
pro01: Look, Mr. Man, I certainly have no time for any rigmarole with anyone over what is indeed a straight-forward matter. According to the report in the link below,I don't know if you know exactly what "Aristo" means, from my understanding of the article, coming from a male friend's house does not necessarily mean an Aristo. most young students have out of school boyfriends and yes!! they are males, and yes!! they don't stay in school. if you are arguing that a girl going to visit a guy in his home is an Aristo then you have issues with common sense. finally, no Aristo brings a young girl to his matrimonial home for a weekend, what are hotels there for? If we should assume the "aristo" as you called him is a bachelor, then i think he qualifies to be a boyfriend too. this is what common sense dictates pause, breathe, ponder, before you type, education is too expensive to be ridiculed by your insinuations |
Adanyebe: too bad you cant guarantee urself any security in this country even for the fact we have the best military forces in Africa. i think the police have shown high susceptibility in areas of security in this country. well is not their fault, their salary is not worth dyeing for.how did you come about that n0nsense in bold? |
kamdyjenny: Should I call dis mother's love for her child or is it jst technolgy display, I love the fact dat my mum wld carry my child nd her grand childna Nigeria u dey ooo, wen ur papa will marry ur mama at 32, before you go find pesin to marry you, your mama don reach 75, na dat level she go use carry belle for you? Make i hear word. |
walcolm: pray tell us, why does MTN BIS have to work on Symbian, iPhone and androids?MTN launched 2g networks and sold a phone called SENDO accustomed to their SIM, Glo came and launched 2g with Alcatel same way MTN did theirs. as at then, we preferred SAMSUNG R220, Nokia 2100,Sony Ericsson Z200 et al, MTN and Glo had no choice than to discontinue the sales of those phones. if they wanted to coerce you to buy it all they needed then was to say that those phones will be making calls at discounted rates than your conventional phones. if that had happened, people would have been buying it. Now, the era of 3.5g is here, they bring in blackberry phones and give you unlimited data for BB at 1,500naira, then sell to you a paltry 250mb for 1,300naira for conventional phones, yet you think it didnt contribute to the proliferation of BB phones? the Fact that NCC has failed in their over sight function doesn't mean every Nigerian is a toad head like you guess you touched your first mobile phone last year. now, go and change your diapers. |
oakwoodpark: I quite agree with you. Though no one prays for this, i hope all the other ladies when faced with this kind of situation will rather choose Life that virginity.Haba where did u get the virginity twist? she was shot in a Man's house abi i no read well? abi the man dey watch am like belgium TV? she just reason say armed robber too wowo to enjoy fine girl matter, but the gun is the power not the Robber |

God hope ur seeing our leaders again ba?IG IBETO runs a company that employs Nigerians thereby putting food on their Table, some of his likes made the list too |
chop chop!! Government, let the Anointing go round. some people on that list are well deserved, congrats IG IBETO and IGP ABUBAKAR. |
Greatken007: Am disappointed at what i am hearing from most Nigerians here to be frank. What is an accident? An accident is any unwanted, unexpected and unplanned suden events that can result to injury, death, damage to equipment, properties and environment and most times slow down activities.so why didnt you people ask FG to close down those Bus transporters that involve in 1 accident or the other on a daily basis?Mind you Dana air-line has a good track record and air transport stil remain the safest in the world, even as i type and you offer me a free flight at Dana i doubt if i will accept for now sha because it is stil fresh on my memory bt let us stop criticising FG for every step they take pls..How many times do you hear of plane crash in Naija in a year come to the road accident with the total number of death.Let us try to be scientific in our arguement.you should be forgiven; A whistle blower came forth on channels alleging that the incident was a "SABOTAGE" not an "ACCIDENT". what reasonable inquiry presented that whistle blower as first witness? NB please google the difference between those two words before you start quoting another Akara wrapper. The brain box was recovered and sent abroad for analysis, did you hear anything about the recommendations and findings of the people who analyzed it? you think it doesn't elude common sense that the public being the first hand victims of the accident do not deserve to know the truth? or perhaps because of course, money exchanged hands then no wahala? before you compare planes and vehicles, your tiny brain should ask how many people has died 100 persons at a time in a vehicle accident? what is the economic implications of losing a plane compared to a bus and accruing collateral damages? like people sleeping at home while a plane rams into them for eg. what are the chances of survival in both scenarios if i may ask? what are the caliber of people in a bus compared to that in a plane? i am not insinuating the "George orwell's" card but ask yourself; who drives a commercial bus? a secondary school drop out perhaps vs a trained commercial pilot? an assortment of talents and professionalism is the "Human content" they thought you in school. as much as i forgave you for acting childish, the ability to think critically is something you lack, perhaps you might change when you grow up, who knows!! |
pls where is the Adult section on Nairaland? Seun, ur site has gone to the Dogs |
miredia: I mistook the disjointed words in the first phrase but later understood what he meant. wat can a man like me tell a billionaire like u.u seriously believe that shyte is a billionaire? |
billante: The Federal Government on Tuesday said it paid atotal of N25billion to contractors handling various projects under the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme fund (SURE-P) in various locations across the country.Dualization of Enugu onitsha road? that was a long time ago, the road is in a state of anomie no doubt, but repair could have been more acceptable. BTW the late Gitto italian whose company is on death roll got this contract? does it have anything to do with the church he built for the president? just thinking aloud |
walcolm: this is such an ignorant comment. the network providers sell all sorts of phones. BBs are just a part of the devices they sellAll sorts of phone such as ??when did they start selling all sorts of phones, give date? why do you think the MTN BIS doesn't work on symbian, Iphones and droid? seems you have not learnt to identify ignorance toad!! |
OBJ is corrupt no doubt, but I still think he did a good job during his time. He did wonders in Telecoms, banking etc. OBJ should have been the best Nigerian president if not for his 3rd term agenda and the multi billion dollars he wasted on NEPA/IPP without anything to show for it.
jonathan is taking OBJ's NIPP glory if you dont know. |

Litmus: The bombing will reach South and elsewhere in Nigeria if we don't deal with it in the North . Actually, the more people shout and threaten damnation and civil war, bloodshed and revenge killing, if the bombing reaches south, the more determined those people will be to bomb South, West or whatever it takes because anarchy is their agenda. African wars are very lucrative business and none so far in Africa will be more lucrative than civil strife in Nigeria. Then again, i suppose those who threaten revenge against other ethnic groups and members of a particular religious persuasion other than their own, know this and are in fact banking on it which is why they threaten revenge killing and shout about it the most.Bombs are now more effective in settling squabbles, lol, |

STUNTS007: Its very easy to think and conclude as an employee. For one second put yourself in the shoes of an employer.Yeah he collected over a million naira from the company account, but that's not enough to conclude. The intricacies related to sole proprietorship implies that at some point in the life of a business, certain critical decisions will have to be taken that might affect the salaries and some other benefits.you sound so naive, o yea!! the poor girl's efforts guarantees the boss of over 1m but the girl does not deserve her less than 15k salary abi? an American who happens to be the country's chairman of a company visited Nigeria, during the board meeting, a young workshop attendant crashed the meeting to complain he has not been promoted for 4yrs. the American first bemoaned him for not using the appropriate channels when he has already heard what he has to say and dismissed him. the American asked the secretary to include that matter as the last agenda in the meeting, first, the American asked the workshop manager; are you in the picture of this mess? the manager replied; u see, its not exactly as we say it, in this country, some factors are considered before such moves are made, one of them being who he is loyal to, the next position and where he comes from. the American asked again; i don't see how this criteria translates to productivity, who made these new rules in my company without my knowledge? manager replied; its not a rule per say, we are flexible on that though, its virtual not in black and white. *oyibo gets angry* American; do you know what my workshop is worth? the last time i checked, it is worth 3.7billion dollars with other liabilities, same reason i hired you at 4.5m annually to manage it and you let this slip? how long will it take before this guy starts stealing from us?, do you think that your wickedness will blow his responsibilities away? for Gods sake he may have a family somewhere and you screw his income over and over at the expense of my business? Mr xxxxxxx you are a thoughtless A.r.s.e.h.ole, i don't wanna see you anywhere near this premises again, hand over your car keys and other company's properties in your possession you dumb f*u/ck. *oyibo still angry pushes the table away* *everybody takes off* he echoes, meeting reconvenes in 30mins. resolution; workshop supervisor to be promoted to workshop manager while the attendant is promoted to supervisor with employment letter back dated 4yrs ago, all arrears to be paid the next month. @ stunt 007, you know nothing about managing a business, believe me, if i was the girl in question, i would have liquidated that man a long time ago. |
obviously, u have not discussed this with your husband. The truth is: whether you are depending on him or not, someone has to be in charge, if your idea of independence is to be usurping his authority, then i dont see why ur move is commendable. If I were ur hubby, since u desperately need a job, i will get u preggy, that will keep u busy for 9months after which u will apply as a nanny, of course i will be paying at market rate, when the child is of school age, u will apply as an extra moral tutor, which of course i will be glad to be paying you at market rate. If your idea of working is to be shaking ur a.r.s.e in the banking hall, looking for targets that even the MD cannot find, then it is my responsibility to stop you cold. Many working guys i know have other buisnesses that equally support them, have you encouraged ur hubby to diversify? Is he earning extra cash by collecting kick backs from his contractors in his company? If so, why dont u encourage him to float one and use you as a front? Does he have friends that travel abroad for importation? Instead of shopping abroad for ur wedding, you should encourage him to finance such trips so you get a lil exposure and at the same time do a survey. When you say you are looking for a job, whose job are you looking for exactly? Do you know how annoying it is to work for someone? Do you knw dat some managers that have put in over 10yrs in their career report to duty as early as 7am? Else, one lousy small boy will show them the way out? Be careful what you wish for. everything is not exactly as it seems. Perhaps you used to brag to your friends that you will never depend on a man in ur life, lol welcome to reality 101 |
freecocoa: Why them dey expect people to claim him dead before? No be nigeria again? Them fit even arrest person for knowing that bascard so i no too blame them.donating him to a teaching hospital should be the right play, loads of medical students don't touch cadaver till they graduate |
dozymars: DO YOU KNOW THAT NIGERIANS ARE THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE ON EARTH, NIGERIANS ARE ALSO ONE OF THE MOST HOSPITABLE PEOPLE.please don't mind the evil spirited poropo, he forgot that Nigeria is the only country in the world that will withdraw its police from her citizens, to secure a foreigner whose country failed to make it on the map. The only country whose citizens are jobless while ex convicts from other countries work without a permit. |
You can't blame just the woman here Kobo. It takes two to tango, two to create a life. That man knew exactly what he was doing. They both did. Afterall, if a man doesn't want to have kids, there are preventive measures at his disposal too. At the end of the day, I think illiteracy under the misconceived guise of cultural need to produce "heirs" was the driving force here. On a lighter note, one does wonder, what does this man's son get to "inherit" from the father? Apart from his name?
run away boots |
