Christianity EtcRe: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by Julivas(m): 7:27pm On Apr 07, 2018
This message has Awoken me dearly and I think you need it too. I thought I should share as received.

RIGHTEOUS IDOL WORSHIPPER?

I wondered why I was in the queue of accused at all. I am intelligent, aggressive, young, totally committed to my God. What am I doing here with this sheet of supposed sins in my hand I wondered?

I don’t drink, I don't smoke, I don’t fornicate, I don’t steal, I am righteous. Others should be here not me.

It was finally my turn to face the Man.

I placed my sheet before Him, He glanced at it and sighed softly. He looked at me and calmly said, ‘Guilty of idol worship.'

Imagine my anger, my fury, my indignation. I jumped out of the chair and said ‘Of course not! Check the sheet again, check the name, It can't be mine.’

He sighed again and mentioned one of my names that no one knows.

I would not be stopped. It's impossible’ I yelled. I worship only God, the Most High, Maker of heaven and earth, the King of kings and Lord of lords. I bow down to none, I have no talisman, no amulet, no pot underneath my bed.

‘You are guilty of idol worship’ He repeated calmly.

He looked at me, I looked at Him. It seemed like forever. The room was silent. I could hear the clock ticking.

Then slowly I understood.

I am never late for bus/train station or air flight but I am always late to church - I blinked.

My payments to services I enjoy eg: Dstv, phone bills etc, are never late but I haven’t given offerings/tithes in three months - I looked down.

When meeting one of our local chiefs last week I would not even pick a call in the presence of earthly royalty, but I WhatsApp in church

I wouldn’t interrupt my performance appraisal with my boss for anything but I missed church last week because of a series on TV

I wouldn’t let a day end without talking to my spouse but today I just said Hi God, Bye God. And I didn’t even pray last night - The room began to feel hot.

I would never miss going to the bank because of the weather but I missed fellowship on Tuesday and Thursday because it was drizzling .

I would wear my party colors to party meetings and not care what anyone thought of me but I hate to talk to my workmates about God because of what they will think of me.

I always have the latest tech gadget you can think of but my bible is so worn out. I can’t even find the book of Jude in my bible anymore.

The last thing to touch before going to bed is my phone and the first thing in the morning....chating on whatapp or replying offline messages. And never bordering to talk with God or reading His word.

I felt so hot in the room, a nervous sweat on my forehead, I felt so ill and weak, all of my anger and self-righteousness was gone, leaving immense guilt in its wake.

I slowly got off the chair and knelt by His feet and said ‘I am sorry, I am guilty as charged, Guilty of idol worship, guilty of placing others; humans, technology before You. I am guilty of idol worship.’

He smiled gently, looked at me with those passionate eyes of His full of love and He gave me a fresh sheet!and said, Deliver souls!!

If time would permit u, u can also share or inform others to alert them as I know they are not aware of what they are doing.

God bless you as you share to deliver souls with me. Amen. Pls share cos it doesn't cost u extra money.

Please what can i do if i am told by my parents to lie and i am a christian
Hmmm
This is serious. ..... but to start with as a Christian, who are we to fear between God and human being?
Definitely God.

Now the issue is God commanded us to honour our parents. .... part of honouring them is to obey them. Then what is the way out?

Kindly approach them as gentle as dove and let them know your stand in God and that you can not use the same mouth you use to pray to God to also do the bidding of satan by lying.

Do this prayerfully and God will see you through. Remember that girl in the hands of Boko Haram who refused to deny Christ Jesus despite the threat.

God shall strengthen you

Although the email may be false indeed, but if we look at what is happening around all over the country, one may come to a conclusion that there are some elements of truth in the email.
See the unabated killings been carried out by Fulani Herdmen in the country. Last week , this same Fulanis killed a university student in Edo state and till now the culprit has not been arrested.
How many of these Fulanis herdmen that are perpetrating this evil especially in Benue and Taraba states have been brought to book?
One will notice that the abokis are almost in all the nooks and crannies of the south west in the guise of riding okada for commercial purpose ... to me this is to familiarise themselves with the terrain of the land.
One just has to be careful and vigilant.
God shall be our shield and buckler in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Breaking: Sergeant David Bako deserts N/Army, leaks how Dapchi girls' abduction was planned in the Villa & executed with N80 million
Breaking: Sergeant David Bako deserts N/Army, leaks how Dapchi girls' abduction was planned in the Villa & executed with N80 million
PARIS, MARCH 24, 2018: (DGW) As many Nigerians continue to react to the Dapch girls' kidnap drama, a certain Nigerian Christian soldier, Sergeant David Bako from the Middle Belt, Plateau State to be precise has revealed how the Dapchi girls kidnap drama was plotted and executed.

He said he found it absolutely necessary to make the confession considering the criminal killings across the country which he likened to ethnic cleansing.

In an email sent to our newsroom here in Paris, Sergeant David Bako said the plot was planned and rehearsed for two weeks by Buhari's loyalists in the army of which he was one.

He said the desperation by Buhari to rule Nigeria for another four years drove him on to employ all means to make sure he remains in power.

President Buhari, he said, will be no pushover in 2019 because he has perfected plans to remain in the Villa beyond 2019.

Continuing the story, he said, they were given N80 million to execute the plot to restore the peoples' waning confidence in the Buhari government as Boko Haram stepped up attacks recently which was a complete embarrassment to the Buhari government after claiming to have defeated the Islamist sect.

He said the resurgence of Boko Haram attacks and killings in the northeast drove the government to find all means possible to regain the peoples' confidence seeing that 2019 election is as good as lost.

Buhari, he said, does not want to leave the Villa under any guise in 2019. In the email below he narrated how the plot was planned and executed.

He wrote: '' I feel constrained to make this confession and as I make this stunning confession, I am no longer in Nigeria because I have to unavoidably desert the Nigerian Army to save my life and that of my family from a possible summary execution by Buhari's secret agents.

Barnawi faction of Boko Haram knows nothing about the abduction of Dapchi girls. We were paid N80 million to carry out the abduction which we planned and rehearsed for two weeks to make it look real. 16 of us, strong Buhari's loyalists took part in the plot and were given N80 million and some trucks with which to carry out the operation.

On February 19, 2017, after we had received the money, we were told to make it a top secret and further told we would be handsomely rewarded if the plan pays off. The plan, according to our unit commander, is to make Nigerians regain their confidence in the Buhari government, demobilize the PDP which we all dislike with a passion and the Obasanjo coalition which the Villa saw as an emerging threat if something is not urgently done.

Obasanjo, our commander told us will succeed in dislodging Buhari from the Villa in 2019 if we do not contrive a means to make Nigerians believe more in Buhari's leadership.

The money we got was not paid into our accounts but was brought by car from Abuja totaling N80 million naira which was shared amongst us with trucks to carry out the operation.

On that night the soldiers stationed in the neighbourhood were deployed to other locations to enable us carry out the operation hitch-free which we did. The Boko Haram flag you saw us carrying was designed by us and had ourselves wrapped up like the insurgents.

There was no such thing like kidnapping by the Barnawi faction of the Boko Haram. We drove into the school compound in a commando style, broke through the school gate while the night guards numbering three or more ran for their dear lives as they heard our gunshots and chanting Islamic war songs amid 'Western education is a sin''. We drove straight into the school dormitory and ordered the girls to get onto the trucks some of whom slept naked because of the scorching heat. Although we had been given warning by our commander not to molest or rough handle the girls as such action would not be tolerated under any guise.

We were given 1 hour and 45 minutes to carry out the operation from where we drove to the school and the operation did not last for more than 45 minutes to get the girls on board the trucks. So they had no time to carry any of their belongings.

We drove them to an undisclosed location which was unknown to any of us because our unit commander led the way until we arrived in where they all were carefully kept.

The claim that five of them lost their lives is of course not true as we did not kill or even shoot any of them following the strict orders and instructions that they should be treated gently, kept safe and unharmed.

While where they were kept we were told to preach to them, make ourselves look like terrorists to enable them to believe, recount and narrate what they saw which would make people believe the abduction story.

We were not allowed to go with our phones to the location where the girls were kept, therefore we could not take photographs of the girls and the location. Was there any statement released on the abduction by the Barnawi group? Was there any video footage by the Barnawi group like that of the Chibok girls? That was to make it a top secret which the government does not want to play it.

On the day we were asked to return the girls, police and our colleagues were deployed out of the route to avoid any possible confrontation - I mean with those who knew nothing about the plot.

While leaving, we told them to embrace Islam and gave them clothing because some of them were taken away naked with wrappers they slept with when we abducted them from the dormitory.

Out of the money that was shared, I got N3 million and on second thoughts I decided to return the money to my unit commander to keep it for me as I have no ready use for the money. I told him I would be traveling to Jos to see my mother who was very ill and that on return I will collect it back from him and take it to my bank.

Unsuspicious of my motives, he collected it from me and gave me five days to report to my duty post.

With the visa I had in my passport I had to go as far as Port Harcourt where no one knows me and flew out of the country while asking God forgiveness for the part I played in the whole operation.

What actually made me repent of the evil is the plot on the ground to carry out ethnic cleansing in Nigeria and as I write this piece, I make bold to say here that every Nigerian community in the southern part of the country has been infiltrated by armed militias imported from Niger, Mali, and Chad by the Buhari government to unleash terror on Nigerians if they by a twist of fate resist the ongoing ethnic cleansing.

My colleagues have often boasted that the Quran, according to the late Sardauna, must be read in the sea and that is what this government is doing. The Dapchi girls purported abduction is to make Nigerians believe the Buhari government is working and it would, therefore, make no sense to vote him out.

The remaining four years is to make him execute the hidden agenda to carry out ethnic cleansing. The plot on the ground is to have every dissenting voice executed that would be a threat to the successful execution of the agenda. That is the reason why they first came up with the cattle colonies which the southern leaders rejected.

As I write this piece, my heart bleeds for Nigeria and I regret the part I played in the abduction of the Dapchi girls to further swindle Nigerians into believing Buhari is the best person to lead the country in the coming years. Please Nigerians, I beg for forgiveness and ask you to help me with prayers to God for forgiveness in the role I played. Share this story and let it go round to save Nigerians the grave danger of allowing President Buhari to continue beyond 2018 in the Villa. I will return to Nigeria when Buhari leaves power, God willing.''

Op, there are other ways Leah sharibu would have done it and set herself free from captivity and still remain a christian which would have been wiser than her inspiring christians who are observing the situation at the expense of her freedom and liberty.

Denying Islam in the presence of her captors who want her to change her faith to Islam for her freedom is not necessary.
The decision will never inspire christians in anyway, Though they can pretend to be inspired

I guess because she is still a child, she cannot think of any other way, so she remains in captivity(hopefully, God may touch her captors to release her)

An adult christian is not expected to be childish like that
How then?
She has done the best thing. She is indeed the real daughter of her heavenly father and HE shall surely be with her.

WHO SAYS CHRISTIAN SISTERS ARE NOT TO BE MODEST AND CAN’T FIND A GODLY MAN TO MARRY BEING MODEST?____________________________________BY OLUFEMI Emmanuel
As a Christian godly sister, I want you to know that you are not a Christian because of a Christian and you are not a Christian because of a church or probably being a Christian by practicing Christianity as the thebest religion. No not at all. You are a Christian because of the saving power of Jesus Christ. And so if truly you have a real and keen relationship with him, you will be modest in all you do even coming down to your dressing because you represent Christ’s bride. All form of body exposure should be taken care of by considering modesty in dressing. You are not to dress to impress anyone you are notto dress to seduce, you are to dress to cover your unclothedness cos Christ lives in you and every form of worldliness in dressing should be perverted. You hear some so called sisters today say that they can’t just dress this old-fashion way cos of the advancement in technology and hence there must be some little addition so that these brothers won’t say they’re looking old. Hey no, you are missing it. You are beautiful just the way you are. Don’t allow any brother or friends to tell you that you not gonnasee God’s desired man for you because of your dressing. Won’t it be so unwise of you to miss heaven just because of dressing?Christian sisters can be modest in their dressing and still see wonderful godly men that will still marry them. You know what is right, do what is right. A real man won’t desire to marry you because of those skimpy short dresses you fond of wearing. If God was to meet you unexpectedlyat your closest, would he be happy seeing you with such a dress or with such dressing?Don’t be brainwashed with the sayings of the world that you dress to impress those guys, you dress to make those brothers blush, you dress to make brother A have intentions for you, not at all, believe such no things.Let me ask you. Wont it be better you dress the so called “OLD-FASHIONED WAY OF DRESSING” and marry a man that will draw you more closer to GOD and heaven than marry a man that will weaken your Christian faith and convictions in God because of your sexy skimpy dresses? Think about that.Ladies that know their worth and privilege in Christ will know that they are hid in Christ and hence dressing won’t make brothers look for them in marriage but rather prayers will make brothers look for them for marriage. You can be modest and marry God’s perfect will for your life cos there is a diamond in you. You are modest, smart, beautiful and intelligent.
God bless you.

Christianity EtcMind Renewal by Julivas(op): 3:49am On Mar 20, 2018
Message from the throne of Grace.

Topic  Renewing your mind.
Text Romans 12 : 2
And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The mind (heart) which is the engine room of any human being because the issues of life come out from there, is a vital part that must be guided with all wisdom.
What comes out of one's mind continually if not checked can either make or mal the person. Satan knows about this , that is why he continually throw darts so as to deviate one from God. Satan in his cunning ways can even present the thoughts in such a way that one will think it is true and worthy to meditate and act upon as he did to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ during those temptations, lo and behold,  it is a bait to destroy a person because his mission is to kill and destroy.
Mark 7 : 21 - 23
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 all these evil things come from within and defile the man.

How to constantly renew our minds.
1. By watching over our heart diligently.
Proverbs 4 : 23
Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the outflowings of life.

2. By meditating and observing the word of God constantly.
Joshua 1 : 8
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

3. By bringing all thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10 : 5
casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,

4. By letting the peace of God to reign supreme over the mind.
Philippians 4 : 7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

5. By self determination.
1 Peter 1 : 13
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind; be sober and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Job 31 : 1
“I made a covenant with mine eyes. Why then should I think upon a maid?

6. By setting one's mind on the things above only.
Colossians 3 : 2.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

7. By thinking of Philippians 4 : 8 always.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Conclusion
Though satan may throw and bring some nasty suggestions to the mind, don't meditate on it, instead cast it put , and it shall be well with you.

Shalom.

Prayer Points
1. Thank God for this beautiful day.
2. Father, grant me the power and the grace to guide my mind jealously.
3. Father, fill my mind with holy thoughts.
4. As I go this week let YOUR goodness and mercy be my companion.
5. Make my ways and that of my loved ones prosperous as we go this week in Jesus name.
6. Father, help me to be conscious of eternity now and always in Jesus mighty name.
7. Appreciate God for HE shall do exactly as you have prayed in Jesus mighty name.

How did it happen? For what purpose?

2. The Quran supported this Great Mystery and somehow, IT IS DOWN-PLAYED.

*Topic : Noah : A Godly Man In A Perverse Generation*
*Text : Genesis 7 : 1*
*7 And the Lord said unto Noah, “Come thou and all thy house into the ark, for thee have I seen righteous before Me in this generation.*

In Genesis 5 & 6, it was recorded that the population got multiplied through procreation.
Yes this is the will of God. .... but it was unfortunate that as the world increased then, so also evil multiplied.
This is not the plan God had for the world.
In the generation of Noah, people were just wicked- doing what pleases them, having wild parties, merry making at the expense of God among other things,
... but one man named Noah was found to meet God’s standard to be called righteous in that same wicked generation.
Genesis 6 : 5-9
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagining of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And the Lord repented that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart.

7 And the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, and the creeping thing and the fowls of the air, for I repent that I have made them.”

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Without no Bible, no preacher he decided to fear God in all his ways. Noah was indeed a different man in an indifferent world. This is worthy to be emulated because as it was in his generation then, so also in this present generation which is full of wickedness.
Brethren, to be called righteous in this evil world, it is not just a mouth say, though Jesus is our righteousness but we must separate ourselves from the practices of the world that are not in comformity with the word of God.
1 John  2 : 15 - 17.
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

God does frown at wickedness, thus reason for passing judgement.
It is good to know that God always make a provision for a way out for people in order not to be consumed in HIS judgement. HE allowed Noah to be an evangelist, and he preached to the people of his time about the impending danger if they refused to heed to his warning and continue in their wickedness, .....but alas , they turned a deaf ear to the message of salvation and eventually they perished.
Why?
Maybe they refused Noah's message because they thought how will a loving God destroy HIS people just like that, they forgot that as God is a loving father, so HE is also a consuming fire.
Hebrews 12 : 29.
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Is this not happening in this present generation? Of course it is, people taking the message of the gospel with a levity hand. Many are even saying God can not send what HE created to burn in hell. Some also do not believe in rapture of the saints while some believe that God will throw them beyond hell fire and other unthinkable words.
This generation should be wiser than that of Noah's because this present generation has antecedents. Before the flood, there is no history where the entire human race were wiped out by God. Unlike Noah's generation, no wonder this qualified Noah to be counted  among the people of faith in Hebrews, this generation has the record of the flood and Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19 : 24), therefore this generation has no excuse not to yield to the message of salvation.
I pray God will make us wise enough to heed to the gospel truth and live by it in Jesus mighty name.
As in the days of Noah , people are now being carried away by the affairs of this world - birthday, wedding, making money etc. , people are complacent in their relationship with God, these should not be our portion brethren because HE who brought judgement in Noah's time is still there, HE is the same yesterday, today and forever and HE will not continue to watch the wickedness going on in the world forever,  HE will surely pass the judgement.
I pray we shall not be consumed by the coming judgement in Jesus mighty name.
It was written in verse 9 of Genesis 6 *....and Noah walked with God*
People of God, to walk with God is a personal decision as seen in the life of Noah, though living among those who were indulging in various nefarious acts to please themselves but the Man Noah refuse to follow the multitude to do evil.
A decision not to conform with world in her negative ways. Brethren, it is embittered these days to hear names such as Timothy, Paul etc among armed robbery syndicate, kidnapping gang etc.
It is a decision to win the war over self (flesh), sin and satan.
It is a decision to say yes to Jesus in all our doings
It is a decision to please God, and not to satisfy the lust of the flesh.
It is a decision for self denial.
It is a decision to be a light in the dark of this world.
A decision to make our characters point people  (sinners) to Christ Jesus.
Remember character is what you really are in the dark when no one is watching.

*Deductions from Noah's life in walking with God*
There are many things we can learn from the life of Noah in serving and walking with God.
*1. His referential fear for God.*
Malachi 3 : 16,
16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke often one to another, and the Lord hearkened and heard it. And a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who feared the Lord and who thought upon His name.
Job 28 : 28
28 And unto man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord: that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.’”
Though he lived in a corrupted world, but chose to fear God, not slavery fear, but the fear that makes one to run from evil when no one is watching.  Hebrews 11 : 7
This is worthy of emulation brethren. .
*2. His complete obedience to the commandments of God.
* Genesis 6 : 22
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
He carried out the instructions as they were giving and not bending them to suit himself. Jesus said, if you love me you will obey my commandments. Brethren, this must be our delight also.
*3. His righteous living.*
Refused to have extra marital affairs, rather he chose to remain faithful to his wife, enrich his pocket by embezzling public fund rather he chose to be contented , participate in exam malpractices rather he chose to imbibe the spirit of hard work, engage in foolish talk rather he chose to let his words be seasoned with salt just to mention but a few.
Brethren, if Noah can live holy in his days, we can as well do it in this wicked generation especially when we are living in the time of grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
*4. His righteous witness.*
2 Peter 2 : 5.
5 and spared not the old world, but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the Flood upon the world of the ungodly;
He carried out the work of evangelism faithfully to the people to get saved. He preached the message he received from God without adulteration.
The question before us is how are we handling the assignment of the great commission given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ?
Is the salvation of souls that are yet to be saved of paramount important to us?
God shall help us to be diligent and faithful in rising for the salvation of others.
*5. His consistent walk with God.*
He walked with God till the end.
As we have considered the good sides of Noah's life, let look at the other side of his life because it as well has something to teach us.
Though a man of great faith, we should not forget that he is a human being as you and I. He has a weak point which is not well dealt with and resultant effect is devastating.
Maybe he has been used to drinking, but in this period, he got drunk to the excess to the point of being in a state of unclothedness. What a terrible weakness?  In his state of unclothedness one of his children made jest of him. After he realised what happened, he cursed the child, unfortunately the curse is still in ravage on the generation of that child which is believed to be of Africa descendants.
No wonder the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9 : 18 that one sinner destroy more good. Though Noah was saved at last , but the deed had been done. This is the reason why many Africa countries are struggling to catch up with the developed nations of the world despite the huge resources at her disposal.
Thank God there is a way out of the curse because curse is anyone that is hung on the tree. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has gone to the cross to bear the curse for us, this is more reason why we have to give our lives totally to Him, who is able to save and deliver. Galatians 3 : 13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is every one who hangeth on a tree”),
Brethren, this other side of Noah's life is a lesson for us to take charge of our appetite in any thimng and not to be complacent in our walking with God because our arc enemy, the devil, is looking at that weak point(s) of ours to attack.
The question now is will you & I be that new sister Noah and that brother Noah that God will call righteous in our daily living (talks, studies, engagaging in business, dressing, among others) in a perverted generation as of now?
I pray that the grace to be found righteous, God shall give to us in Jesus mighty name.

*Conclusion*
As Noah was, so also we are now in this wicked, corrupted and perverted generation. Brethren,  let's be different in this indifferent world - when others are sagging their trousers, we shall do the norm, when others are showing cleavage, we shall cover our unclothedness, among others. I pray that the grace to do these God shall grant unto us in Jesus mighty name.
Let's endeavour to show the light of God in the dark of this world by our shining and godly characters so that we can draw people to Christ Jesus. Remember that the world is no more reading the Bible but our lives' style.
Bible Reflection
Romans 12 : 1 & 2
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Christianity EtcNoah : A Godly Man In A Perverse Generation by Julivas(op): 1:14am On Mar 17, 2018

If I got the op correctly, he is trying to say one cannot attain righteousness by one's ability. If this is his submission , yes he is right because in Romans 10 : 4, it says Jesus Christ is our righteousness , but this does not give freedom to be committing sin.
Romans 10 : 4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.
Christianity Etc" Hurah! A Florida Court Sets Official Atheist Holy Day by Julivas(op): 1:36pm On Mar 15, 2018
In Florida , an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days. The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring; "Case dismissed! "The lawyer immediately stood and objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays... "The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counselor, is woefully ignorant. "The lawyer said," Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists. "The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fool’s Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned..."You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!" Kay Lord

RomanceThe Day I Cheated On My Beloved Wife By Olutana Olufunso by Julivas(op): 3:00pm On Mar 14, 2018
THE DAY I CHEATED ON MY BELOVED WIFE

After a glorious Sunday service and after attending other group meetings, we were both visibly tired. Church service ended before 12 noon, but we got home around 2:30pm.
On getting home, both of us wanted to retire to the bedroom and get some rest.
It was then I remembered that I announced in church that NO MARRIED WOMAN MUST ENTER THE KITCHEN that afternoon. The first lady of every home, deserves to be pampered and shown tender loving care (TLC).
For a Brief moment , I thought within myself...."how on earth did I make that announcement in church today??" (As pastor, its easier to give commands)
But the die is already cast, I must fulfill my obligation. (we must obey instructions from the pulpit)
I watched my wife enter the bedroom, while I sluggishly made my way to the kitchen. It felt like a very long lonely road. While walking to the kitchen, I knew exactly how she felt every time she had to be in that kitchen alone by herself.
To cut the short story long (Don't mind me oo)
I got down to business.. I sweated it out alone in the kitchen. After about an hour and a half in the kitchen, I heard my wife calling out to me from the living room,
"Darling, is the food ready now?..I am so hungry"
I could not believe my ears, I thought to myself "Was she talking to her maid or a paid cook? How can somebody just get up from the bed and be asking for food?" (It didn't make sense to me at all)
Then I remembered how I have done the same thing to her countless number of times. Mine was even more like Yelling...just because food was not ready.
but wait... "how did she survive me on those tense days....especially when I was mad at her because food wasn't ready?"
Realising my own shortcomings, I quickly borrowed myself 'some sense'....I adjusted myself and decided to play along...
"Babe, the food is ready".
She rushed into the kitchen. On entering the kitchen, you can see the big disappointment in her eyes...
" Honey, where is the food?"
I responded giggling..."that is it on the fire"
"Just chicken?"
I defended myself.. "Is chicken not food?"
Can't you see that the burner is extremely slow, its not my fault" (I even blamed the oven)
Then she examined the burner, and burst into laughter. She laughed very hard.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked
"Oh honey, the heat regulator is set to the lowest level, you should have increased it"
Now, I didn't find that funny..."You mean I have been waiting patiently for nothing??"
Ignoring me, she adjusted the burner and the heat was at the maximum level in no time. (I guess the law of diminishing returns had set-in for me)
"Dear, I cannot wait for your food again, I'm famished"
I jerked, "so what do you want me to do?" (Sebi, its mothers day, We don enter am today)
"Can you quickly fry some eggs for me pls?"
"No problem. Anything for my sweetheart" (though I was weak and tired)
She left me in the kitchen and went back to the sitting room. She settled down with her phone while I settled down with the cooking. (Diaris God oo)
At first I wanted to protest...."What is all these...gan na?" But when I remembered how I usually cross my legs to watch live football matches on TV..while she sweats it out in the kitchen... I became very gentle!
I quickly took enough fresh eggs to fry...and also ordered for fresh bread.
In no time, food was ready. I set the table for my Queen.
Without wasting time, she descended on the meal like a hungry lion.
"Babe, won't you say anything to me about the meal" (I knew the meal was tasty, so I was DESPERATE to hear her compliment. That will make a good CONSOLATION)
But to my uttermost amazement, what she said next came as a rude shock to me.
"My dear husband, this is exactly how you usually eat my meals without passing any complement. You only say thank you after enjoying the meal and THAT IS ALL".
"What!!!...Seriously!!!....was I this callous to my Wife?...
I didn't realise that I wasn't very nice to her"...I felt very terrible.
Here I was, demanding Kindness, where I haven't sown enough kindness.
It felt like I have not been playing fair.....IT FELT LIKE I HAVE BEEN CHEATING MY WIFE.

Today, 11 March 2018, the judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC), sitting in a plenary session, electedJudge Chile Eboe-Osuji(Nigeria) as President of the Court for a three-year term with immediate effect.Judge Robert Fremr(Czech Republic) was elected First Vice-President andJudge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut(France) Second Vice-President.
"I am deeply honoured to have been elected by my peers as President of the International Criminal Court. As I take up my duties, I feel encouraged that I am able to rely on the wide experience of the two Vice-Presidents, Judge Robert Fremr and Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, both of whom I have closely worked with previously. I look forward to working together with them as well as with all the judges, all the Officials and the staff of the Court in a spirit of collegiality. I also look forward to collaborating with the Assembly of States Parties, civil society and the international community at large, acting together to strengthen and reinforce the Rome Statute system, the 20th anniversary of the adoption of which we celebrate this year", President Chile Eboe-Osuji stated following the election."I am also grateful to the previous President, Judge Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi, and Vice-Presidents, Judges Joyce Aluoch and Kuniko Ozaki, for their work and leadership,"he added.
The Presidency – consisting of the President and the two Vice-Presidents – plays a key role in providing strategic leadership to the ICC as a whole. The Presidency coordinates with the other organs and seeks the concurrence of the Prosecutor on matters of mutual concern. In accordance with the Rome Statute, the ICC's governing treaty, the Presidency is responsible for the proper administration of the Court, with the exception of the Office of the Prosecutor. The Presidency oversees the activities of the Registry and provides input into a broad range of administrative policies affecting the Court's overall functioning. Furthermore it conducts judicial review of certain decisions of the Registrar and concludes Court-wide cooperation agreements with States and international organizations

MARRIAGE.......

He was having his evening beverage

That's when she joined him.

"Hi there handsome, you're looking good. So fine I can eat you up" she said sitting down.

"I thought we agreed to keep away from each other? I am a married man" he told her.

" Come on. I won't bite. You can't resist me, no man can" she said.

"I am a married man" he told her.

"Fight all you want, but soon I will have you. I am way better than your wife" she told him.

"You are nothing compared to my wife" he told her off.

"Really? All this body. All these curves. All these sweetness. I bet your wife is not as good in bed as I am" she told him unbuttoning the top button of her blouse to reveal her cleavage, then lifting up her skirt, just a bit.

"If I was a lustful and unfaithful man, all that would move me. But I am too grown to be enticed by what you're showing off. I am a grown man, you think all that consumes my mind is sex? And for your information, my wife is actually great in bed" he told her.

"How will you know unless you do me. Try me tonight. Let's drive in your black car to a romantic hotel, I promise you a night you will never forget" she told him.

"You know what you are? You are lazy? A lazy woman" he told her, then took a sip of his beverage.

"How dare you call me lazy?! I am a high flying educated woman. Any man would give anything to have me" she said.

"Fair enough. But would you give anything to make a man?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" She questioned.

"You look at me and find me attractive. Yet you disrespect the woman behind who I am, you want me to cheat on my wife, the woman behind my attractiveness" said he.

He drank a sip and continued, "My wife is responsible for the man in me that you want today. When I had little, my wife believed in me. These suits you see me wearing, are my wife's idea. I ask for her advice on what to wear.

My success has come to pass because she prays for me and puts up with my demanding work hours. She corrects me and moulds me and that has moulded my character.

The Range Rover you see me outside driving that you fancy, I bought that with my wife. She and I invested to buy our house. I look attractive and pleasant, because she treats me well and gives me peace.

And now you want to have the man that she made out of me and dishonour her? You want to have the man that she has built for years? You are lazy?"

Silence.

"I see you turning down the single men who want you and yet you want me, a man that another woman has made? No, it doesn't work like that.

Find your own single man, believe in him, pray for him, support him, nurture him and mould him to be the attractive man you want him to be.

You women have a nurturing and helping gift. Activate your gift.

My wife has been busy building me and I will not leave her for a woman who has nothing to offer, but her sexiness.

So if you may excuse me, I need to drive home and take my wife on a date. She deserves the best" he said as he stood up and drank a last sip.

He reached in his wallet and placed K200 on the table.

"Have yourself a drink as you think about your life and how you'll stop being lazy and find a single man you can build. My generous wife and I have paid for the drink" he said.

He walked away as she looked on; her lower jaw dropping in shock, "I thought that this world was void of principled men, I just met one," the diva seasoned as she sobered up, nodding her head.

"This guy just schooled me. In 20 minutes this smart guy has taught me the most valuable lesson which I've never found in any one of the three prestigious Universities I've attended. *How to find, invest in and make my own husband*I need to find my own husband" she thought to herself as the gentleman sped off in his waiting Range Rover.
