SEX TO REPENTANCE

WE JUST HAD SEX:
she was in my arms, we were cuddled together naked and just finished making love to catch up for the lost time.

It was pleasurable as usual and we enjoyed it. We haven't seen each other for few weeks and we were in love.

She was a leading member of our campus fellowship : Association of Christian Fellowship (ACF). A vibriant sister; very beautiful but she was my lover and partner in sin and I just saw her off at about 10:18pm after rounds of sex.

It wasn't up to 30 minutes when my phone rang, I picked it up only for the caller to tell me the owner of this phone was killed by a truck that failed brake. I screamed and shout "Whaaaaat?"

It was like I was hit by a tsunami! I lost composure and started crying.

When I finally got to her house the next morning, people were in sad mood...
*but most of them were praising God that a dedicated sister has returned to Heaven.*

But deep inside me, I felt a great guilt and I knew deep down what we did in secret. I'm the only one who knows the final sin she committed (sex out of wedlock)

*Friends, do you know life might end today? God forbid, but it's possible.*
*Do you also know death can come unexpectedly?
*Do you realise that some people might sleep this night and never wake up tomorrow, what if I am amongst them?
*Do I know where my soul will go?*
*Do you know people might say good things about you at your funeral, because of what they see and not really know what you do in secrecy?

*But your secret sins and sinful thought might place you in hell?

You can't hide them from the Almighty God!

*Kindly examine yourself today, in case tomorrow never comes.*

For some of us, it may not be Fornication nor Adultery, but what about Lies, Exaggeration, Disobedience, Malice, Grudges, Gambling, Smoking, Alcoholism, Envy, Jealousy, Pride, Anger, Unforgiveness, Bad Temper, Lust, Bad Habits, Inordinate Affections, Immoral Thought, Covetousness etc...

Some of us may be Leaders in Ministries yet keeping malice and bearing grudges against one another for years!

Some may not have overcome Anger and Temperament, while some are even struggling with Drug, Lust, Pornography & Homosexuality, Sodomy, Beastiality, Lesbianisim & all sorts of sexual depravities!

*It is not late today, but it might be tomorrow.*
God will forgive you right now if you repent sincerely.

*Ask God to forgive you and rededicate your life to Him.

*Eternity will surprise many.*
Don't be on that list of negative surprise.

*Please Do not hesitate to share this powerful and life changing message. Don't be a fine Religious Christian worshipping God, in the same time deceiving yourself & allowing the devil to deceive you.*

Please do share with a friend and ensure all your friends read this post today...

*Eternity is constant & always just a click away!

God bless you...

PoliticsSule Lamido On President Buhari: The Death Of Nigeria By Pius Adesanmi by Julivas(op): 11:43pm On Feb 21, 2018
Sule Lamido on President Buhari: The Death of NigeriaBy Pius AdesanmiI have on occasion chastised the Nigerian media, especially Premium Times and Channels TV, for offering prestigious platforms to EFCC graduates and assorted political recidivists to wade in on national affairs, interviewing and seeking their opinion on national issues, thereby normalizing and legitimizing them.Sule Lamido is a career EFCC indictee with an illustrious legacy of looting under his cap. He finished off Jigawa as Lamido & Sons. He should not be receiving national airtime and his presidential declaration on Saturday ought to be treated as a marginal joke to be discussed only in the warrens of Dutse. To be fair to Premium Times, they mentioned his EFFCC rap sheet this time in their coverage of his presidential declaration. Allah be praised.Given my sentiments about political recidivists on national stage, it would appear odd that I am devoting an entire op-ed, even if negative, to Sule Lamido. I plead guilty. I crave your indulgence to make this one exception and reflect on Sule Lamido before we consign him once and for all – if Premium Times and Channels TV allow us – to the bottom of the dustbin of history. What he had to say at his presidential declaration rally on Saturday is of national significance and should be taken seriously as a teachable moment if we are ever to understand the deleterious instincts and perverse mental universe which continue to make it impossible for Nigeria to quit the state of nature and make baby steps towards civilization.Listen to Sule Lamido, speaking to the crowd at his presidential declaration. He is establishing why he is infinitely more qualified than the incumbent, Mohammadu Buhari, to be President:“The 2019 presidential election is undoubtedly going to be between an original Fulani man and a fake Fulani man ‎ who was governor and minister at different times.”The original Fulani man, the pure blood, is, of course, Sule Lamido. The fake Fulani man is Mohammadu Buhari. Lamido is not done yet. He is a thorough man. According to Premium Times, to leave nobody in any doubt about Buhari’s ethnic impurity and, therefore, his unworthiness ofthe Presidency, Lamido spoke in Fulfulde and challenged Buhari to translate his sentences, guaranteeing his audience that Buhari could notdo it because he is not a real Fulani man.Lamido is also of course implying that Buhari is not a pure Fulani man because he is from Katsina and there has been a lot of blood mixture along the way. Lamido is performing the one-drop rule on Buhari and Buhari has been found wanting. Buhari’s blood has most probably mixedwith one drop of inferior Hausa blood along the way – something unacceptable to this Fulani ethnic and racial-supremacist slowpoke. (Wikipedia is your friend. Check out the terrible history of the one-drop rule in segregationist and racial supremacist USA)No adult Nigerian can claim not to be familiar with Fulani ethnic superiorist discourse which at various times in our chequered postcolonial history has often dovetailed into outright racist condescension for every other ethnicity, starting with the Hausa, their favorite punching bag.No adult Nigerian can claim not to have been marked by the political consequences of these ethno-superiorist inclinations for the intractablefault lines of our national being and experience have been fed since 1960 by the will to domination (fed by unquenchable racism as expressed by Lamido) and the will to resistance. The tension generated is of course further fed by Igbo and Yoruba ethnic supremacist discourse for those too must be acknowledged and condemned. If we are on familiar terrain, why are Lamido’s statements so galling? Why does his stupidity merit evaluation? It is surprising that somebody can still openly mount a podium in February 2018 (this is the 21st century for Allah’s sake!) and declare that ethnic purity - the purest Fulani blood line – is the first pre-condition for the Presidency of Nigeria! I was hoping that Sule Lamido would eventually meet his comeuppance and rot in jail after a fair corruption trial but now I think we should put him in a zoo as an exhibit of the worst form of racism. It could be that he feels emboldened to come out now that we are in theage of Trump and white ethnic supremacists in the United States and Europe. The real tragedy is that it must take extreme stupidity and mental laziness to run to ethno-racist politics as the basis for undermining Buhari’s potential run in 2019.Nobody has made the case against Buhari better than Buhari. He is a colossal failure, a nightmare from which Nigeria needs to awake in 2019,after sending him to Daura, never to be heard from again. You can delegitimize Buhari because of his irredeemable clannishness, failure to fly, and failure to deliver. He has betrayed every promise he embodied and set Nigeria back by a century. He has failed on the economic, security, and socio-politicalfronts. He is also a failure on ethics, ethos, and morality, his words always dissonant with his actions. His war on corruption is a sick joke. His integrity has turned out to be a puff of powder. He superintends a state of anomie. He set out on a foolish, self-destruct course the moment he won the election. He is supremely arrogant and doesn’t care. Nigeria is on autopilot with him. He has no clue. Buhari is hubris surrounded by hubris and corruption. The only sphere where Buhari is working is among the shrinking fundamentalist clan of Buharideens but one has nothing to say to them this late in the day.I can unpack each of these statements with copious, empirical details and facts – as I will indeed be doing in several op-eds leading to 2019. These are arguments and submissions easily available to Sule Lamido to effectively demolish Buhari. But he is too mentally lazy, too intellectuallyshallow, and too sold on proto-Nazi, proto-fascist Fulani racial supremacist fantasies.I have entitled this intervention the death of Nigeria for two principal reasons. First is the fact that this is 2018 but a man with an EFCC rap sheet as hefty as Lamido’s can still openly run for President. Boys born when our Senate President, Bukola Saraki, started building his own EFCCcorruption portfolio are now producing spermatozoa and running after girls in our University campuses. People with active and expansive EFCC portfolios stroll casually from court appearances to run for office, the standard morality among the wretched citizens they steal from being, “he has not yet been found guilty.”My father and his generation had other ideas about morality and ethics. “How did you even find yourself in a position or situation where you are accused of so and so in the first place”? This used to be my father’s question, the foundation of his morality. Today, we have a generation ready to die for looters because they are yet to be found guilty. Looters end up perorating on national TV. Recently, James Ibori weighed in on national affairs, advising Nigerians to register to vote because that is theonly way they can hold their leaders accountable. And Jesus wept for Nigeria! That they bear the stain of official indictment is not enough to disqualify them from aspiring to the solemnity of office according to our regnant national morality. Once I grumbled on Twitter that James Ibori and Bode George are constantly being interviewed and normalized by our journalists. I was reprimanded by furious citizens who reminded me that the two men have done their time – one was pardoned – and they must now be allowed to regain their place and space in the schemeof things. Make dem no talk again? I shook my head and felt pity for thisgeneration.Second is the fact that a primitive Fulani ethnic supremacist is still openly canvassing Fulani blood purity as the most important qualification for the Nigerian Presidency. If you are an adult Nigerian, you know that we are just lucky that Sule Lamido spoke openly. There are hundreds of thousands more in the closet where that came from. I should know. I am after all a northerner, a human pawn in the corrupt game of numbers that these ethnic supremacists play to have a larger share of the spoils of the centre in our sick unitary system.I have only one message for Sule Lamido and his Fulani supremacist ilk. You guys are joking. This is 2018 – an age whose ethos are at variance with your primitive ethno-feudalistimaginaries of Nigerian nationhood.Guys like you will always have totally irreverent guys like me to contend with. There is no shortage of voices like me in the national sphere of discourse and you can’t do jack about us for we are not beholden to any Nigerian one percenter. One more bad news for you: we have a national audience that you also can do nothing about. We are always ready to treat your Bleep up, transfer your stupidity to the intellectual public terrain and dissect it for the whole world to see.You have two sons facing corruption charges with you. Continue to brandish Fulfulde and exclude Buhari from your puritanical Fulani imaginary. Continue to dream of a Nigerian vassaldom that you will handover to your two boys and their generation, where every non-Fulani blood in Nigeria shall be inferior to them and be their slaves.May God spare your life and make you live long, very long, long enough to see that there shall be no such unfair, unjust, unfree, and unequal Nigeria for your sons to inherit. Those you crudely oppress today in the North and the rest of the country will never allow your children to have a future in an unfree Nigeria but you guys are simply too dumb to read the tea leaves.Yours is now effectively the case of the man who steals the King’s drum.Where will he beat it? Your only choice is to allow the free, just, and fair Nigeria that we are fighting for to emerge, where a man shall not be judged by the purity of his blood and the pursuit of happiness shall not be guaranteed only for one percenters and their children.Purge yourselves of your Fulani supremacist bullshit if you want Nigeria to augur well for your children.Until you get it, we shall continue to enter the same trouser with you and your ilk. Pikin wey say im mama no go sleep…Shior.

Now do the needful by assisting the family in any way you can whether you want to go ahead and marry the lady or not.

I think it is high time some drastical actions were taking to stop this menace. Report just reaching me from a confirmed source said that Fulanis herdmen invaded a vegetable farm and inflicted injuries on people .Instead for the police force to take appropriate action, they instead detained the victim of these so called Fulani herdmen

Nigeria......which way to go.

Where is the fairness on this forum?

If a faceless forum can be this biased in favour of Islam religion then I'm speechless.

This issue has been raised countless times but all mods just shrug their shoulders, turn a blind eye and pretend that all is well.

If you want to enforce religious oaths, enforce it for every religion or remove the current restriction on Islamic threads. Evidence for the validity of Islam

Praise be to Allah

The evidence for the validity of Islam and the truthfulness of the Prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is abundant and can hardly be enumerated. This evidence is sufficient to convince any wise and fair-minded person who is impartially and sincerely seeking the truth. We can sum up some of this proof as follows.

1.     The evidence of sound human nature

The call of Islam is in accordance with sound human nature, as is indicated by the words of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted (interpretation of the meaning):

“So set you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah’s Fitrah (i.e. Allah’s Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalqillah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not”

[ar-Room 30:30].

And the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no child who is not born in a state of fitrah, then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian or a Magian, just as animals bring forth animals with their limbs intact, do you see any deformed one among them?”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (1358) and Muslim (2658).

The words “animals bring forth animals with their limbs intact” mean: just as an animal is born with its limbs intact and free of defects; anything that happens to it of cuts to its ears and so on happens after it is born.

Similarly, every human is born with an inherent inclination towards Islam, and any deviation from Islam is undoubtedly a departure from sound human nature. Therefore we never find anything in the teachings of Islam that is contrary to sound human nature. Rather all of its teachings on beliefs and practical matters are in accordance with sound human nature. As for religions and ideologies other than Islam, they include things that are contrary to sound human nature. This is something that is quite clear and apparent to anyone who reflects and ponders.

2.     Rational evidence

There are many Islamic texts that address reason and direct people to examine the rational proof and evidence, and call upon people of sound reasoning and mature thinking to examine the definitive evidence for the soundness of Islam.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“(This is) a Book (the Qur’an) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember”

[Saad 38:29].

Al-Qaadi ‘Iyaad said concerning the miraculous aspects of the Qur’an:

In it you will see that there is an explanation of a set of divine laws; it mentions the way of proof based on reason, presents arguments against the misguided followers of different religions and sects, and argues against them on the basis of strong and clear proof, using very easy and concise language. Those who pretend to be clever tried to come up with proof and evidence like that, but they were not able to do so.

End quote from ash-Shifa (1/390)

The texts of the revelation do not contain anything that is impossible according to rational thinking or that would be rejected by reason, and the texts never presented an argument that contradicts reason or contradicts any analogy based on rational thinking. Rather the proponents of falsehood never presented any analogy to support their falsehood but the Qur’an refuted it on the basis of truth and an argument that is based on clear reason.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Qur’an), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof”

[al-Furqaan 25:33].

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Here Allah, may He be glorified, tells us that the disbelievers do not produce any rational argument to support their falsehood but He refutes it on the basis of truth, and presents arguments and evidence and examples that offer a better explanation thereof, are more convincing and give a clearer explanation of the truth than their argument and analogy.

End quote from Majmoo‘ al-Fataawa (4/106)

One of the examples of rational evidence in the Qur’an is the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradiction”

[an-Nisa’ 4:82].

In Tafseer al-Qurtubi it says:

There is no one who speaks a great deal but you will find a lot of contradiction in his words, either in the presentation and wording, or in the meaning, or you will find discrepancies, or there will be untruths. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, sent down the Qur’an and instructed them to reflect on it, because they will not find in it any discrepancies in the presentation of ideas, or any flaws in what it promotes, or any contradiction, or any lies in what they are told of matters of the unseen and what they conceal.

End quote from al-Jaami‘ li Ahkaam al-Qur’an (5/290)

Ibn Katheer said:

That is, if it were fabricated and made up, as the ignorant polytheists and hypocrites said to themselves, “they would surely have found therein much contradiction” that is, many flaws and discrepancies. In other words, this Book is free of discrepancies and contradictions, therefore it is from Allah.

End quote from Tafseer al-Qur’an al-‘Azeem (1/802)

3.     Miracles and signs of Prophethood

Allah, may He be exalted, supported His noble Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with numerous miracles and tangible signs that pointed to the truthfulness of his Prophethood and the soundness of his message, such as the splitting of the moon for him, the glorification of Allah by food and pebbles in front of him, the springing forth of water from between his fingers, the increasing of food, and other miracles and signs that were seen and witnessed by huge numbers of people, and have been transmitted to us via saheeh isnaads (sound chains of narration) that reach the level of tawaatur. This gives rise to certainty.

An example of that is that which is narrated in a saheeh report from ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood, that he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on a journey and our supply of water ran low. He said: “Bring me a little leftover water.” So they brought a vessel in which there was a little water. He put his hand in the vessel, then said: “Come to a blessed, purifying water; and the blessing is from Allah.” And I saw the water springing from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). And we used to hear the food glorifying Allah as it was being eaten.

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3579)

4.     Prophecies

What is meant by prophecies here is what the revelation foretold of matters and events that would happen in the future, whether that was during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) or after his death.

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) never foretold anything that would happen in the future, but it would happen exactly as he foretold. This indicates that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, had revealed and disclosed to him some matters of unseen knowledge that could not be attained except by means of revelation.

One example of that is the report narrated by Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The Hour will not begin until a fire emerges in the land of the Hijaz which will illuminate the necks of the camels in Busra.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (7118) and Muslim (2902).

And it happened exactly as the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had foretold, in 654 AH – approximately 644 years after his death. This was mentioned by historians, including al-‘Allaamah Abu Shaamah al-Maqdisi, in his book Dhayl ar-Rawdatayn. He was one of the scholars who lived at the time of this historical incident. It was also mentioned by al-Haafiz Ibn Katheer in al-Bidaayah wa’n-Nihaayah (13/219), where he said: Then the year 654 AH began, in which there appeared fire in the land of the Hijaz by which the necks of the camels in Busra were illuminated, as it says in the agreed-upon hadith. Shaykh al-‘Allaamah al-Haafiz Shihaab ad-Deen Abu Shaamah al-Maqdisi spoke at length about that in his adh-Dhayl wa Sharhuhu, based on many letters that came to Damascus from the Hijaz, describing that fire that had been witnessed and seen, and how it emerged, and the story thereof.

To sum up what Abu Shaamah said:

Letters came to Damascus from the Prophet’s City – may the best of blessings and peace be upon its inhabitant – speaking of the emergence of a fire in their land on 5th Jumaada al-Aakhirah this year. The letters were written on 5th Rajab, when the fire was still burning, and they reached us on 10th Sha‘baan. Then he said: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. At the beginning of Sha‘baan 654 AH, letters came to the city of Damascus from the city of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) describing a significant event that occurred there, in which there was confirmation of the hadith of Abu Hurayrah in as-Saheehayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The Hour will not begin until a fire emerges in the land of the Hijaz which will illuminate the necks of the camels in Busra.” Someone whom I trust from among those who saw it told me that he heard that in Tayma’ letters had been written by its light.

He said: We were in our houses during those nights, and in the house of each one of us it was as if there was a lamp, but it had no heat and did not burn, despite its greatness; rather it was one of the signs of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted. End quote.
I think you have been tolerated enough here. You know how you guys would have done if it's your Islam thread.
Why can't you respect yourself.

Besides, let me give a logic....

Presently, at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, miracles and wonders happen everywhere.

The question is when last was/is miracle happened during the lifetime of Muhammed and even after his life when his name is mentioned?

So please carry your post to your thread
Thanks.

one other thing I tell people is to have a research intention and have good knowledge of it. don't just expect your supervisor to give you a topic you will work on. ...then one of my mentors will say "make sure to take up a research work that all the necessary instruments and equipment for the study are within Nigeria. Just avoid research works that entails sending samples abroad", that is if you want to finish in good time.
Yes you are right.....but the beauty of this is that there are numerous scholarship opportunities to do it abroad with mouth watering packages

7 WAYS TO SPICE UP YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT COMPROMISING YOUR SEXUAL PURITY

Whenever the word ‘romance’ comes up, the mind easily drifts to physical intimacy, but Christians are expected to flee youthful lusts and keep the marriage bed undefiled.

The problem is with romance being limited to the expression of love through sexual means. However, there are many ways by which you can express love to your partner without defiling each other:

1. Constantly Affirm Your Love For Your Partner

This never gets old. Let your partner know how much you appreciate them and how you truly feel for them. Even on days when it gets rough, don’t leave your partner wondering if you still care.

Be it through calls or texts; remind your partner over and over that you cherish them.

shaykhalislaam:
The True Religion of God

Which Is The True Religion Of God?

Each person is born in a circumstance which is not of his own choosing.

The religion of his family or the ideology of the state is thrust upon him from the very beginning of his existence in this world.

By the time he reaches his teens, he is usually fully brain-washed into believing that the beliefs of his particular society are the correct beliefs that everyone should have.

However, when some people mature and are exposed to other belief- systems, they begin to question the validity of their own beliefs.

The seekers of truth often reach a point of confusion upon realizing that each and every religion, sect, ideology and philosophy claims to be the one and only correct way for man.

Indeed, they all encourage people to do good.

So, which one is right?

They cannot all be right since each claims all others are wrong.

Then how does the seeker of truth choose the right way?

God gave us all minds and intellects to enable us to make this crucial decision.

It is the most important decision in the life of a human being.

Upon it depends his future, Consequently, each and every one of us must examine dispassionately the evidence presented and choose what appears to be right until further evidence arises.

Like every other religion or philosophy, Islam also claims to be the one and only true way to God.

In this respect it is no different from other systems.

This work intends to provide some evidence for the validity of that claim.

However, it must always be kept in mind that one can only determine the true path by putting aside emotions and prejudices, which often blind us to reality.

Then, and only then, will we be able to use our God-given intelligence and make a rational and correct decision.

There are several arguments, which may be advanced to support Islam's claim to be the true religion of God.

The following are only three of the most obvious.

The first argument is based on the divine origin of the names of the religion and the comprehensiveness of its meaning.

The second deals with the unique and uncomplicated teachings concerning the relationship between God, man, and creation.

The third argument derives from the fact that Islam is universally attainable by all men at all times.

These are the three basic components of what logic and reason dictate necessary for a religion to be considered the true religion of God.

The following pages will develop these concepts in some detail.
This is not the right place for this, please take your post to the Islamic thread .Thanks.
