op, you were warned but still went ahead with the marriage. the deed has been done so my advice is try and make your marriage work. two wrongs can never make a right. when the whole madness has settled down, sit him down and have a heart to heart talk with him. he's your husband and communication is an important tool in marriage, learn how to use it.

FamilyRe: For The Men Would You Let Your Wife Drive Your Car by jumzzy448: 4:04pm On Jan 09, 2014
Na wa oo. So a man can't allow his wife drive his car. Nothing wey we no go hear for nairaland. In my house, there is nothing like my car or your car. If I want to go out, hubby will even be the one to ask which car are you taking.
I don't think car should bring problem in marriage.

FamilyRe: Are We Suppose To Worship Our Landlords Or Their Family? by jumzzy448: 4:31pm On Jan 08, 2014
Op, like you've been told, just apologise for peace to reign. But you parking your car outside, don't even agree to that. There's no way you'll park your car outside when you have car park in your compound. If they want to impose nonsense on you, pls stand your ground. Show them you have madness too.
There was a day my landlord tried rubbish with me, though it's a shop.
My mum came to my shop to visit me, there was no place to park her car so she decided to park at the back of his car. When the idioot wanted to move out, he came to my shop and told my mum that he learnt she's the one that parked at his back. My mum was like ooh sorry, let me remove it when he said '' if you've been parking at the back of people's car, don't you ever park at my back again". My mum did not even answer but went ahead to remove her car. I was already fuming with anger where I was seated.
Thank God it wasn't up to twenty mins when he came back. I walked up to him before he even stepped out of the car and told him mister, if you don't want me as a tenant, you can as well give me back my money and i'll get out of your shop. What nonsense, don't you have manners or what, or you think because you are landlord I should worship the ground you walk on. I told him i'm a landlady myself but I don't go tormenting and intimidating my tenants. Infact I insulted him so much that day and since then he doesn't look for my trouble again.
I even told him everyday you keep announcing you are the landlord of this building, why don't you save yourself the stress and just put a placard on your neck with the inscription ''i'm the landlord of this building" rubbish.
The stupid man has created so much fear in his tenants that whenever he steps into the complex, everybody gets confused. I told him I won't take that shit.
FamilyRe: Boys Night Out Discussions by jumzzy448: 3:37pm On Jan 08, 2014
coogar: some guys don't know their true worth & value and this is why girls mistreat them anyhow. the woman that will drag my pride through the mud isn't born yet....a man must know when not to take any nonsense from his woman. women love experimenting, they just want to push the man to his elastic limit.

a man must be firm, principled. if a woman throws nonsense in your face, show your disagreement in the calmest way possible. there's always a better woman out there - that has always been my mantra. if she screws up, let her go & find another. my ego is my greatest weapon & it's yet to let me down.
Seems you and my hubby have the same personality.
Thanks Nashville. Learnt a lot from your post.
I'm enjoying this thread more than the girls night out discussion. The girls own is full of ikworikokwo.

FamilyRe: Living With Parents After Wedding by jumzzy448: 9:05am On Jan 07, 2014
Hmmmm...

@jaybeyblu, u have done the right thing by calling off the wedding. I just feel their is more to this cos I can't phantom why a parent will want his/her grown up son to stay in the village with them. Don't they want him to progress or what?
Pls still maintain your stand oo and if at all you want to reconsider, let him rent the house first( the house should be very far from the village oo), he should even set it up before you start reconsidering. When he has done that, then start with the issue of making decisions himself. Let him stop this I will tell my mummy attitude. Tell him if he doesn't stop, u still stand on your ground of no marriage. WTH.

"Linda and fellow LIB readers, please help! I am a nursing mother/wife. I get wet and sometime cum when I'm breastfeeding my 7 months old son who happens to be my first baby. When he suckles my breast...gosh! What is happening to me? Are there other mothers out there who have had similar feelings? What can I do to stop this? Am I developing unhealthy sexual feelings for my own son or what is this? Please I need help!
FamilyRe: Is It Ok To Give Him My Password? by jumzzy448: 4:46pm On Jan 06, 2014
shizzle11: Talk is cheap!
If you mean the bolded, tell him to his face and come back here to tell us your divorce story.
If you like allow yourself to be deceived by those saying don't give him. When you get divorced, non of them will be there for you.

I don't support such attitude from men because i consider it domineering. But if he is insisting and you truly have nothing to hide, why don't him give him the password. The young man must have suspected something after all, if you feel you have no guilt why not consent to his request, after all he is your husband...some women ehn?

I smell rat....
Op, if you guys are married, then take shizzle's advice.
What's there in giving him your password except you don't trust yourself and you feel he might find out some things.
Funniest thing is he might even have your password and will never open your accounts.
Hubby has my passwords but i'm very sure that he has never for once opened my facebook or any of my accs before.
Feel free to give him abeg.

I never knew kuyie is this pretty. The way some people insult her on nairaland, I use to think she's one old woman. Girl, you are very beautiful. No wonder she's on fire.

Waiting for the day tpi@ will put her pix online.

I wish to have twins oo. But hubby says no more baby.

FamilyRe: Could '4:30 Eyes' Be Hereditary? by jumzzy448: 10:06pm On Jan 01, 2014
chaircover: i dont understand. He is engaged to someone who he is not 100% sure of. Its not as if the eye condition started yesterday, so why wait so long before having fears and doubts. He should have done all his questioning about genetics etc before he even proposed to her and not wait until now.

Personally he shouldn't even marry the lady, because little by little that eye condition is going to "pull" at him and one day without realizing it he is going to pop . . .also if it does happen to be genetic and any of the kids has it, he is going to react negatively to her and maybe the children.
Aunty cc, pls can I have your email address? I want to discuss something with u.

flakky legend: Yes its dedication I wish I dedicate such time to other things also smiley. I am one emotional smthn Stories like this inspire me. After reading the thread it was time for my morning prayers. I wanted to ask God for so many thing but couldn't find the words i was thanking God just saying alhamdulillahi.

My friend lost her husband 3 yrs ago I was in my mid twenties so you can imagine hw old my friend could be. she was 31 with 3 kids, 4, 2 and 6 months old. she was not working and they were not even so comfortable when the husband was alive. But she was stong i'v neva met any1 stonger. she started by making liquid soap and selling. I introduced her to pple in my work place and they were buying they all knew her story. she strived so hard. later rented a building and started a soap making factory. Tried to get NAFDAC number but Nigeria factor she didnt get it after spending so much money. still she stayed strong. Had problems with inlaws and so on. She gave me strenght I just admired her and supported her all the way ppl thnk we own the factory together but i dnt get a dime from it. she made sure her kids went to a good schl. Just recently she got a job as lecturer in one of the federal institutions she had to close the factory cos it was in another city. few weeks ago she got married again. About 2 months ago NAFDAC no came out. God can indeed turn thing around when we least expect it.
Wowwww......this story is so touching and inspiring. i'm so happy she's back on her fit again.
