Timelezz: [b]The discerning ones should. This is a country that sold its people to a slaving EU trade treaty along with other West African counties in 2015 until Nigeria during the GEJ regime suspended and annulled the treaty before rectifying it.
This is same Ghana that was quiet and docile during the Gbabo regime in Ivory Coast when south Africa position its naval war ship along the west African coastline and Ghana was docile asslicking the southies until Nigeria pressured S.A to sail the ship out of the West African coast.
During the ebola crises in West Africa, Nigeria along several African countries were hit. Nigeria didn't only defeat the Ebola virus at home but sent medical aid and personells to all Ebola west African countries.
Lagos state along sent medical personnel and cash in dollars. Ghana which wasn't affected was only able to send locally grown rice.
Same Ghana which didn't have money to build her own end of the West African Gas Pipeline and had their president follow and stalk OBJ to America to borrow moeny to build the facility to collect our own gas for free.
Same Ghana who doesn't contribute financially to the AU but Nigeria, Lybia, South Africa, Algeria and Egypt shoulder Africa's financial burden.
Same Ghana whose film stars and artist pass through Nigeria's entertainment industry and producers to attain stardom.
Same Ghana where our music and culture is domestic to them.
Abeg, what is an insignificant country like Ghana doing bragging, talking about countries? Ghana is a fleck of dust on the earth. Utterly insignificant.
Same country that relies on foreign aids from UK and US to pass their national budget.
Let the Lord disgrace Satan.

Blazing wizard!!!! Bastard, witless troll!!! sorry we dont engage in school bureaucracies to cut down on people who qualify, there are other ways to do that; like allowing the universities to carryout their own exams and if not successful at getting the numbers down to where their infrastructure can cope then they conduct and interview. Programmes like Medicine and it affiliate courses where various universities have limited spaces compare to the number of students applying, these processes are followed. we dont shove examination bodies on our universities. the university has the freedom to judge a group of students to determine why they should be admitted. |

MtuMsuper: OK. So the NDC seems to be the party of the proletariat. Interesting, i didn't know that angle. Thanks for the candid assessment. Well, political (as opposed to economic ) corruption is something alot of people seem not to take care of. Even in Kenya, Uhuru protects his ministers and senior officials who have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar, to the seething ire of Kenyans. It's even more ludicrous when so called investigations never yield positives or prosecutions. They disappear from the limelight to "cool off " only to reappear back in the same role!! If the crap they do is so in your face, they get reassigned to another role elsewhere. I have seen this phenomenon all over Africa, morals and ethics count for jacksh1t. Talking of criminals in the National assembly or Senate ,we also got plenty plenty here too, it's no secret. We have a clause in the constitution called chapter 6 that deals with a person's eligibility to stand. We completely ignore that and go back to the jungle book of rules, which deep down most people are most comfortable with.
We are a sick continent! we have to punish our politicians at the polls as we continue on the road of citizens vigilante. Of late, our politicians have the tendencies of rewarding mediocrity. A least, the incoming government; seems to be shaking in their shoes with their appointments else they will face the same fate in the next election. There's hope, we're just watching how they will move us out of this economic quagmire. For now, all economic indicators are on the downward trend and growth will pick up at 7% .I would say, the NDC is a party for the masses . The NPP is an elites party |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Just30: 11:39am On Jan 03, 2017 |
MtuMsuper: Permit me to ask: why did Mahama John lose the election? I thought he was doing a great job. What one or two burning issues would you say changed the game in Addo's favour? The President was doing well with his initiatives and most people admire him for it but he kept on rewarding criminals ho have been found to be corrupt with positions at the office of the President. Thereby surrounding himself with a block of inexperienced communicators who we're attacking the personalities of people who were criticising the government, which place the government in a bad light. There was an extremely high level of chronism and the corruption level was high. Many people were still going to forgive the government and vote for them for them including me, since majority of those cases were in court. But when I got to my the voting box, upon reflecting on how state protocols was mishandled; many people felt we needed a change after four years of a mishandled economy and we needed a government who wasn't going to drag it feet in prosecuting corrupt officials. Then there were the demographic issues, there were low turnouts on election day in the strong hold of the governing party because voters there thought they've been taken for a ride and short changed over the past four years whiles there was an unusual high turnout in the opposition strong hold whereby people in their 90s went out to vote. On the parliamentary side, the ruling government committed gerrymandering years ago by adding 45 more new parliamentary seats which was equally split in the last election, the opposition party placed more effort in winning almost all of those seats since the winning margin was quite slim and they won. And for the first time, everyone was expecting to see a party winning the presidency and having a minority in parliament. But the major issue was the demographic whereby people grew wealthier and more educated under this government than ever before and these two class of people turns out to favour the incoming party . These class of people largely forms the base of the NPP even though they might at times swing. As Ghanaians become wealthier their perspectives change as they form new social classes, the NDC would now have to restrategise and appeal more to the educated and middle class Ghanaian else they will remain in opposition for a very long time especially if this government does well. |
